Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat IPTEKS dengan E-ISSN: 3031-1071 merupakan jurnal penelitian untuk mempublikasikan hasil penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (IPTEKS) di bidang ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, sains, dan kehidupan. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mempertemukan para peneliti, akademisi, praktisi dan masyarakat untuk berbagi pengetahuan, pengalaman dan inovasi mengenai pemanfaatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi dalam Pekerjaan Sosial mendorong para penulis untuk mempresentasikan penelitian ilmiah dan inovasi yang dapat memberikan manfaat langsung bagi masyarakat. Artikel-artikel dalam jurnal ini mencakup berbagai topik seperti teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, energi terbarukan, pengelolaan lingkungan, pertanian berkelanjutan, air minum yang sehat untuk masyarakat, pendidikan, bisnis dan banyak bisnis lain yang berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ini telah melalui evaluasi yang ketat oleh para ahli dan ilmuwan yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Setiap artikel akan melalui proses penelaahan yang terdiri dari para penelaah yang independen dan kompeten untuk memastikan kualitas dan keefektifannya. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Sains dan Teknologi juga menyediakan platform bagi para peneliti dan profesional untuk berbagi pengalaman dan pelajaran yang dipetik dalam proses pengabdian masyarakat. Jurnal ini mendorong kolaborasi dan kerja sama untuk menggunakan sains dan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesehatan masyarakat. Abstract

“Gerakan Merdeka Sampah” to Support Sustainable Tourism in the Green Tourism Village of Bilebante is a community development program aimed at promoting sustainable tourism in the Bilebante area. This program aims to reduce the volume of waste generated, raise community awareness about the importance of waste management, and create a healthy and safe environment. The implementation of this program involves several activities, including community development, preparation, cleaning, media campaigns, and community participation.

Abstract

The learning process in higher education often faces challenges such as low student motivation, as observed at Universitas Bumigora. This issue is exacerbated by the use of conventional teaching methods, which are less interactive, making students passive and disengaged. This community engagement project focuses on enhancing student learning motivation by implementing interactive quizzes using the Kahoot! application as part of learning evaluation. A qualitative approach was employed, involving observation, needs analysis, training on Kahoot! usage, and evaluation of its implementation. The mentoring process included workshops and direct application in lectures. The results revealed increased student participation and learning motivation, with students showing greater enthusiasm for their studies. Additionally, this initiative fostered awareness of the importance of integrating technology into academic processes. The transformation supports digital learning innovation and offers an alternative evaluation model to improve the quality of education in higher education settings.

Abstract

This community engagement program, titled "The Art of Composing Research Titles: Simplifying Ideas, Maximizing Meaning," was designed to enhance the ability of students in the Management Program at Bumigora University to formulate effective, relevant, and academically appealing research titles. Employing the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program involved 20 students and consisted of preparatory surveys, theoretical sessions, and hands-on training. Key topics included the characteristics of strong research titles, title formulation techniques for qualitative and quantitative methods, and practical revision of participants' initial drafts. Post-training evaluations indicated significant improvements, with 90% of participants successfully revising their titles to be more focused and concise. Additionally, 88% reported increased confidence in presenting their research ideas. The program's outcomes demonstrate its effectiveness in addressing students' challenges in title formulation while fostering critical and creative thinking. This initiative emphasizes the importance of structured and interactive learning processes in academic skill development.

Abstract

One of the methods used by teachers to instill religious moral values in children is through story activities. The need to inculcate religious morals in the story method is expected to make the values taught can be internalized and interpreted by children without coercion. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of the story method in instilling religious morals in early childhood in Al-Falah Panumbangan kober, as well as to find out the strengths and weaknesses when the story method is used in learning at school. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings from this study are that storytelling activities can develop religious morals in early childhood when activities are carried out with the right delivery and choosing the right stories. Efforts made by teachers to instill religious morals in early childhood so that children can understand and practice them in everyday life. So that the implementation can be done by the teacher by choosing the right story.

Abstract

SISKA Application Management System (Study Plan Card Filling Information System) is a web-based application designed to facilitate the process of filling out student Study Plan Cards (KRS) at Bumigora University. This application aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the KRS filling process, as well as facilitate students in accessing academic information. By using web-based technology, the SISKA application allows students to access and fill out KRS online, as well as monitor the status of KRS filling in real-time. In addition, this application can also assist lecturers and academic staff in managing KRS data and monitoring student academic progress. SISKA application was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database, and designed with an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface. Thus, SISKA application can be an effective and efficient solution to improve the quality of academic services at Bumigora University.
