Abstract

Financing is one of the main functions of Islamic banking. In its operational activities, Islamic banking channel most of its assets into financing. However, the financing trend in this sector always fluctuates from year to year and tends to decline. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the financing of the business services sector in Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study uses time-series data which is the monthly data of the aggregate financial statements of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units in Indonesia. The analysis method used in this study is Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). The results showed that the variables that influence the financing of the business services sector in the short term are third party funds (DPK), equivalent rate of financing (ERP) and Industrial Production Index (IPI). Whereas in the long run, the variables that influence the financing of the business services sector are third party funds (DPK), return on assets (ROA), non-performance financing (NPF), Industrial Production Index (IPI). While the variable interest rates and exchange rates both in the short and long term do not affect the financing of the business services sector.

Abstract

Financing is a process from the analysis of the feasibility of financing to the realization. Realization of financing is not the last stage of the financing process. After the financing realization, sharia banks need to conduct monitoring and supervision of financing, because in term of financing is not impossible to occur problematic financing due to several reasons. Islamic banks should be able to analyze the causes of problem financing so that it can make an effort to reinvent the quality of the financing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profit-sharing volume and murabahah financing on the performance of Islamic commercial banks for the 2015-2020 period. This research uses ECM (Error Correction Model) analysis with Eviews 8 software. The sample used in this study is 13 Islamic commercial banks that have been registered with the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK). The sampling technique used the purposive sampling method because researchers needed certain criteria, namely Islamic commercial banks that have published financial ratios. The data used in this study are secondary data with documentary data collection techniques and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the R square value is 0.0362370 indicating that 36% of changes in the ROA variable can be explained by independent variables and 64% are explained by other factors outside the model..

Abstract

Many Indonesian people are still hesitant and worried about the safe and lawful when they want to invest in capital markets, even though the Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) has issued a fatwa on the application of Islamic principles in trade mechanism equity securities in the regular market Stock Exchange Number 80 of 2011, but there are many opinions that say that investing in the stock market at the stock exchange was unclean. The capital market is one of the important pillars of the world economy today. Many industries and companies that use capital market institutions as a medium to absorb investment and media to strengthen its financial position. The modern economy would not exist without the capital market that is well-organized. Every day trillions of rupiah transaction through this institution, this is what brings the authors to examine how the laws of sharia stock exchanges in the Islamic perspective.

Abstract

Purpose: This study employs a risk management approach to analyze factors influencing the impact of zakat on the local economy, with a focus on stimulating economic activity and job creation.Design/methodology: Data were collected from respondents involved in failure risk assessments based on frequency, impact, and detection capabilities of zakat institutions. Dominant factors were categorized into the collection, management, and utilization of zakat funds. The Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method was used to identify high-risk dominant factors.Findings: The study reveals critical factors that need immediate improvement, including trust, transparency, social campaigns, accountability, responsibility, forecasting, capital provision, planning, organizing, and training.Practical implications: This research highlights the need for zakat institutions to address key reflective indicators such as trust, transparency, social campaigns, accountability, responsibility, forecasting, capital provision, planning, organizing, and training to enhance the effectiveness of zakat in local economic development.Originality/Value: This study applies the FMEA method in the context of zakat management, providing a novel approach to identifying and prioritizing critical risk factors for improving the impact of zakat on local economies.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the business activities of the productive zakat distribution that have been carried out by Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang and to analyze the role of the productive zakat sociopreneur program in efforts to realize sustainable development (SDGs). This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources used a primary data sources and secondary data sources and data collection techniques are interview. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it is clear that productive zakat actively participates in sociopreneur activities by financing eight goals of zakat recipients with the concept of social entrepreneurship including the Kampuang Nila Program in Pauh Padang City, Solok Sirukam Coffee Village Program, DD Farm Padang Pariaman Center, DD Farm Solok Sirukam Center, Minang Sepakat Souvenir Center and Kampoeng Ternak in Ampuan Lumpo Pesisir Selatan. The role of the productive zakat sociopreneur program in efforts to realize sustainable development (SDGs) has a very good impact so that this has a positive impact on the community..

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is currently sweeping the world including Indonesia, which has had various impacts including the economic sector.This study aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 Economic and Sharia Business challenges in Indonesia. This type of research is a type of library research and using the qualitatif analysis. The results of this study indicate the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemi that occurred on the global economy including the economy in Indonesia. From this pademic impact the decline in demand for sharia products and hampered production of sharia because raw materials come from outside countries, the impact of this pademic affects this hampered the realization of investment. No exception, investors who plan to invest their capital in Islamic businesses. Increasing the risk of Islamic financial institutions from this challenge Sharia economic and business strategies can overcome the impact of the Covid-19 pademic. It is expected that Islamic economic and business actors show empathy and solidarity with stakeholders. Sharia business people compile more profitable business strategies. Sharia business actors utilize and support stimulus programs from the government. Islamic banking and other financial institutions must start revising growth targets, applying digital transaction technology in one solution. Sharia economics and business can play a role in restoring economic shocks by prioritizing the attainment of sharia objectives (sharia maqashid) Keywords: Covid-19 Impact, Indonesian Economy, Sharia Economy and business.

Abstract

Cosmetic Business in Islamic Business Ethics, The cosmetics business is a series of businesses in various forms of cosmetic products that are in use for improve the appearance or aroma of the human body. Business activities are muamalah activities, which Muslims in various activities must always adhere to divine norms. So in the cosmetic business activity is basically allowed according to the rules of muamalah, This is as the law of origin rather than using something is mubah, related to cosmetics, Islam does not want anything harmful to its users because something that is harmful is forbidden. But in practice cosmetics business is also a lot of cosmetics that are not feasible circulation because the substances contained in these cosmetics contain harmful ingredients have a negative impact, that is: cause effects such as irritation, the emergence of reddish spots and black spots, acne, and other health disturbances when the use of long coats such as kidney failure and some other negative impact. Business Practice as above is a mal-business practice, which contains elements of al-bathil, al-fasad, and azh-zhalim. This can cause both material and immaterial losses to my cypress, other parties or the public. The principle of honesty and openness in business is the key to success. Transparency of the consumer is when a producer is open about quality, quantity, composition, chemical elements and others so as not to harm and harm consumers. Islam prohibits free competition that justifies any means because it is against the principles of muamalah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the problems to the sustainability strategy of BMT in the city of Yogyakarta so that it can operate in the long term. This study uses the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method with a sample of 9 people consisting of BMT practitioners, academics, and regulators. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. This research shows that priority issues that need to be addressed are: 1) Regulation and supervision, 2) Market/communal, 3) Management, 4) Human Resources (HR), 5) Infrastructure. Experts agree that the priority solution is the regulatory and supervisory aspect with a rater agreement value of W = 0.4907. While there are five strategies, namely 1) Optimizing the role of the government, especially to support the sustainability of BMT, 2) Improving the HR education system that is integrated into Islamic economics in theory and practice, 3) Development of institutional and operational infrastructure, 4) Outreach to the community in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, 5) Development of monitoring system and reporting system. The respondents have varied opinions with a value of W = 0.2145. This research has implications for the theory of BMT and BMT sustainability problems in the city of Yogyakarta, the policies taken to support the existence of BMT.
