The objective of this study was to improve self adaptation of student “F” toward the changes in family condition through reality counseling in SMA N 1 Indralaya Utara. Guidance and counseling action research method was used in this study. The data wereanalyzed in a descriptive qualitative way. Observation and interview were done for collecting the data. The result showed that counseling reality which emphasizes on the desire exploration and action planning by the counselee could improve the self adaptation of student “F” toward the changes of family condition. This result was supported by the score improvement of the interview before and after the treatment in the second cycle. In the first cycle, the reality counseling focused on the expressing desire exploration of the counselee toward the family. In the second cycle, the counseling reality process emphasized on the step of action planning especially giving the positive encouragement and motivating the counselee to do the action which has been well planned. Thus, the counseling reality could be used to improve the self adaptation of student “F” toward the changes of family condition.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatan kepemimpinan tranformasional pada pengurus OSIS melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik simulasi sehingga pengurus OSIS dapat melaksanakan kepemimpinan transformasional tersebut dalam rapat organisasi. Adapun metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan PTBK, dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 9 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan pedoman observasi dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan rata-rata nilai kemudian diklasifikasikan menjadikategori, sangat tinggi, tinggi, rendah dan sangat rendah. Hasil penelitian tindakan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik simulasi rapat dapat meningkatkan kepemimpinan transformasional pengurus OSIS. Sebelum dilakukantindakan skor dari subjek penelitian, kepemimpinan transformasionalnya diklasifikasikan rendah. Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus pertama terjadinya peningkatan kepemimpinan transformasional pada 3 orang Pengurus OSIS yang diklasifikasinya tinggi, sedangkan 6orang diklasifikasikan rendah. Begitu juga pada siklus kedua terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada 9 orang Pengurus OSIS, yaitu 3 orang klasifikasi sangat tinggi dan 6 orang diklasifikasikan tinggi. Saran kegiatan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik simulasi rapatdapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kepemimpinan transformasional pengurus OSIS di SMA Negeri 4 Lahat.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan jenis penelitian survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 36 orang siswa yang diseleksi dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur locus of control dan prokrastinasi akademik siswa berupa skala psikologi dengan model skala likert. Analisis data dengan menggunakan Product Moment Pearson Correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif (-) antara locus of control dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. Artinya semakin tinggi locus of control yang dimiliki oleh siswa maka semakin rendah terjadinya prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Palembang.

This study aimed to determine the application of group counseling services for the isolated students at SMAN 1 North Indralaya. This type of research was the applied research with descriptive approach. Data were collected in this study using observation guidelines and analyzed descriptively qualitative. In this study there were 7 (seven) students were chosen as subjects from different class X. In the process of applyed the group's counseling service to discuss 1 (one) problems experienced by students named DS. The result of this study indicated that the DS experienced a change in mindset and attitude to improve their social relation in class. The implementation of group counseling services was not optimal yet, but the result of this study could be used as an alternative problem-solving for students who were isolated. Group counseling services could be also implemented to help students to reach maturity social accomplished development task students isolated.

The aimed of this study was to find out the students self confidence of XI class who faced academic procrastination in SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. This was survey study and subjects were 32 students who faced academic procrastination. The students self confidence data used psycology likert model scale. The result showed that XI class students who faced/ did the academic procrastination in SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau were in moderate category. It can be stated that the students who had firm belief of ability and positive thinking foward him/ her self well, although not yet fully able to act independently.

This study aims to determine the application of classical models Sciarra guidance on competence gained knowledge to achieve career goals of students and to determine the effectiveness of the application of classical models Sciarra guidance on competence gained knowledge to achieve career goals of students. Subjects were students of class X Senior High School No. 1 Indralaya with a sample of 33 students of class X Natural Science 4 randomly selected. The study design used is one group pretest posttest design. The results showed differences in pretest and posttest results were higher after the students followed the classical model of counseling services Sciarra. From the results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that the model of classical Sciarra guidance effectively applied as a classical method of service delivery.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pengaruh bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama terhadap sikap saling menghargai siswa dalam bergaul dengan teman sebaya pada siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 10 orang siswa yang menunjukkan sikap saling menghargai rendah. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara purposive sampling. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan menggunakan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala psikologi tentang sikap saling menghargai siswa yang telah diuji tingkat validitas dan reabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanadanya peningkatan sikap saling menghargai siswa setelah diberikan treatment bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama berpengaruh terhadap sikap saling menghargai siswa dalam bergaul dengan teman sebaya pada siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Palembang.

This study was based on the phenomenon of the students who still got lower grade point average. Those were thought to give the effect to the students’ grade point average. The objective of this study was to find out the correlation between self confidence in college with GPA (Grade Point Average) either individually or together. In the field, students’ self confidence were categorised as very good, good,fair, poor, and very poor. This quantitative research used ex post facto approach. The subjects of the study were the students of Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, with total population 145 students and samples 105 students. Sampling technique used Proportional Random Sampling. Instruments in this study was a questionnaire enclosed using Likertscale which has been in the validity and realibility. Statistical data analysis techniques used Pearson Product Moment Correlation and double regression used Statistical Product Service Solution (SPSS) version 17.00. Based on the results of the study revealed there was a significant correlation between self confidence and GPA.

Basic competencies that teachers of Guidance and Counseling should have is the ability to use and to operationalize the Guidance and Counseling media. This capability is required because in her/his activities, a teachers of Guidance and Counseling should be able to design, to use, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of media in counseling and guidance services. Therefore it is required for the training of making Guidance and Counseling media to help teachers Guidance and Counseling in providing services to learners. Based on the results of the training of Guidance and Counseling media using Microsoft Power Point, 80% of teachers of Guidance and Counseling has been able to make a power point slide about preventing drug abuse through task independent. Through this training, teachers of Guidance and Counseling are expected to be more aware and understand that the needs of the times are getting changing and evolving, so that competence of technology and information should be improved also.

he objective of this study was to find out if there was a correlation between academic self-confidence and students’ burnout of learning in Vocational School 1 Indralaya Utara. This study used quantitative approach with correlational method. The sample of this study was 69 students who chosen by using Solvin formula with fault level 10% out of 220 students. The sample was taken by using randomsampling technique. In collecting the data, academic self-confidence and burnout of learning scale questionnaires were used. In analyzing the data, pearson product moment formula was used. The result of the data analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between academic self-confidence and burnout of learning with correlation coefficient -0.77. Correlation coefficient -0.77 showed that there was a significant correlation between academic self-confidence and burnout in learning. The number of negative correlation coefficient (-) showed that there was a two tailed correlation that the higher an academic self-confidence the students had, the lower the students’ burnout of learning, in opposite, the lower an academic self-confidence the students had, the higher the students’ burnout of learning.
