Abstract

The quality of a school is reflected in its learning programs, which serve as a distinctive brand offered to the community as users of the school’s educational services. This study aims to describe the principal’s strategy for improving the quality of education through the implementation of superior school programs. The research was conducted at Kiyai Mojo Vocational School, Tembelang, Jombang, which applies an excellence-based program focusing on life skills, namely the Sab’ul Matsani Integrated Agriculture Program. This program encompasses farming, gardening, and livestock activities, designed to equip students with practical and entrepreneurial competencies. Using a qualitative research method, data were collected through interviews with the principal and teachers, as well as direct observation and documentation. The collected data were then organized into field notes and interview transcripts, followed by processes of data reduction, presentation, and analysis. The findings reveal that the Sab’ul Matsani Integrated Agriculture Program provides students (santri) with valuable opportunities to design, plan, and implement agricultural processes independently. Participants not only gain theoretical knowledge about agricultural product processing but also understand the growth and development cycles of the materials involved. It is expected that the Sab’ul Matsani program will enhance students’ readiness to face real-world challenges after completing their education in both vocational schools and Islamic boarding schools. Overall, the research concludes that this superior integrated agricultural program has a positive and significant impact on improving the overall quality of education at Kiyai Mojo Vocational School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of OSIS (Intra-School Student Organization) special service management at Darus Sholah High School. The management of OSIS special services represents a crucial approach to organizing and overseeing various programs and activities carried out by the student organization within the school environment. According to Baharuddin, the scope of OSIS special services encompasses the processes of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the services provided by OSIS for the benefit of students and the school community. The primary goal is to enhance students’ overall school experience, promote leadership development, and foster a positive and supportive learning environment. This research employed a qualitative method, with data sources drawn from the school principal and the Deputy Head of Student Affairs. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation techniques. The analysis process included data condensation, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification, supported by triangulation to ensure data validity. The analytical framework was based on Baharuddin’s theoretical perspective. The findings reveal that the implementation of special OSIS service management enables the organization to play a significant role in strengthening social relationships among students, facilitating learning processes, and encouraging active student participation in various extracurricular activities. Furthermore, it contributes to the development of essential soft skills, including leadership, teamwork, collaboration, and responsibility, thereby enriching the students’ personal and academic growth.

Abstract

The implementation of academic supervision in education has three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The role of the madrasa head in academic supervision of teachers is very important in every activity carried out at the madrasa. A supervisor has the ability to shape the characteristics and capacities of teaching staff, as well as coordinate and guide the growth and development of their abilities both individually and collectively. As a supervisor, the madrasa head supports teaching staff in preparing educational supervision programs, carrying out supervision using the correct approaches and supervision techniques, and evaluating the results of academic supervision. This research aims to find out how madrasa heads implement supervision of educators at MAIT Darul Fikri Sidoarjo. This research is qualitative research which aims to obtain an accurate, systematic and factual description of the characteristics, facts and relationships between the phenomena discussed. The methods used by the author in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research were the head of the madrasah and the deputy curriculum educator. The collected data is then analyzed using data analysis. From the results of this research, the author can conclude that the head of the madrasah has carried out academic supervision in accordance with success indicators. The head of the madrasah guides educators in choosing teaching methods, directs educators in choosing teaching materials and conducting class visits

Abstract

Learning involves the interaction between teachers and female students, where students are given the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that shape their attitudes. The research aims to describe the role of teachers in enhancing the motivation to learn of female students at SMP Sains Tebuireng Jombang. This research was conducted at SMP Sains Tebuireng Jombang. The research method used is qualitative, and the data used in this research is primary data. Primary data is data obtained by the researcher through interviews. The sources of data in this research are the school principal, teachers, and students. The data collection techniques are done through observation and interviews. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and data verification/conclusion. The results of the research show that the role of teachers is to provide knowledge, skills, and guidance to students, as well as to enhance motivation to learn and improve the enthusiasm and learning outcomes of female students. Motivation to learn can be built through stimulation, interest, understanding of the subject matter, and adequate assessment. There are supporting and inhibiting factors in the motivation to learn of female students. One of the supporting factors is behavior, desire, stimulation, affection, capability, and reinforcement. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include differences in the level of understanding among students, lack of interest in the subject matter, lack of motivational encouragement from parents, and feelings of inadequacy in competing.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan hasil penelitian tentang manajemen keuangan sekolah dengan fokus pada studi kasus di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik manajemen keuangan sekolah, terutama dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan anggaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melibatkan survei, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen untuk mendapatkan data yang mendalam dan komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen keuangan di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil terbukti baik dengan adanya koordinasi yang efektif antara kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, bendahara, dan komite sekolah. Perencanaan keuangan sekolah diimplementasikan melalui Rencana Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Sekolah (RAPBS), yang melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk wali murid. Evaluasi dilakukan setiap tahun untuk mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan. Diskusi dalam artikel mencakup konsep perencanaan keuangan, tiga sudut pandang penganggaran (comparative approach, PPBES, dan Fungtional Approach), serta pentingnya evaluasi pelaksanaan anggaran. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang manajemen keuangan sekolah dan dapat menjadi referensi bagi lembaga pendidikan lainnya dalam mengembangkan praktik keuangan yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Menghafalkan Al-Qur’an merupakan kegiatan yang sangat mulia, karena kemuliaan kitab suci Al-Qur’an menjadikan para penghafalnya sebagai sosok yang istimewa di hadapan Allah SWT. Bagi seorang hafiz atau hafizah, menjaga hafalan agar tetap terpelihara merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, berbagai metode dikembangkan untuk membantu menjaga hafalan, salah satunya melalui metode murojaah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini, yaitu implementasi murojaah dalam meningkatkan hafalan Al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Yanabiul Qur’an, Sambong Dukuh, Jombang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi metode murojaah dalam meningkatkan hafalan, serta mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala yang menghambat pelaksanaan metode tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, data diperoleh secara langsung melalui wawancara dengan dewan pengasuh, para asatidz, dan santriwati, serta dengan ikut serta dalam kegiatan murojaah di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Yanabiul Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode murojaah yang telah dilaksanakan di pondok tersebut dapat meningkatkan hafalan para santri serta membantu mereka menjaga hafalan dengan baik. Kegiatan murojaah dilakukan dengan cara saling mendengarkan hafalan antar santri secara bergantian, baik dalam bentuk kelompok maupun berpasangan. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan program murojaah antara lain kurangnya semangat dan kesadaran untuk istiqamah di kalangan santri itu sendiri.

Abstract

Islam pays great attention to epistemology by trying to combine knowledge that comes from revelation with knowledge obtained through human reason. Divine knowledge, given through revelation in the Koran and Hadith, is harmonized with knowledge obtained through human reason. Muslim philosophers and scholars have attempted to unite these two sources of knowledge to create a complete understanding. This research uses a qualitative approach using library research. The aim of this article is to explore and analyze aspects of epistemology in Islamic philosophy and their implications for the development of philosophical thought in the Islamic world. The results of this research show that bayani focuses on textual understanding, irfani on intuitive and mystical knowledge, while burhani emphasizes a rational and logical approach. These three aspects together create a comprehensive epistemological framework in the Islamic intellectual tradition, offering a holistic and integrative view of knowledge

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the strategy of the head of MAS Al Falah Wuluhan Jember towards superior madrasah covering aspects of input, process, and output. This research approach uses qualitative with a descriptive type of research. The subjects of this study were the heads of madrasahs, waka curricula, and waka students who were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models is data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that the strategy of the head of the private aliyah madrasah Al Falah Wuluhan Jember towards a superior madrasah included through good recruitment of students, increasing human resources, improving madrasah infrastructure, development of superior programs, establish cooperation with various parties and create excellent graduates.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of the Jember District Government Scholarship on the Improvement of the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of students in the Islamic Education Management program at the State Islamic University Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. The scholarship serves as an additional support program for students to complete their higher education programs, based on their main considerations of achievements and specific excellence they possess. The existence of this scholarship program can alleviate the financial burden on financially disadvantaged students. Moreover, these scholarships can also enhance the quality of education in Indonesia. The main focus of this research is on the specific influence of the Jember District Government Scholarship on students in the Islamic Education Management program at the State Islamic University Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative method using online questionnaire data collection, followed by regression analysis to determine the relationship between scholarship variables and GPA improvement. The findings indicate a significant positive influence between receiving the Jember District Government Scholarship and the improvement of the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Therefore, it can be concluded that the provision of the Jember District Government Scholarship can contribute positively to the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), thus having significant implications for educational policies and student financial assistance.

Education is one means of maintaining the survival of a nation. Quality education produces people who have superior skills and abilities who are able to advance the country. To achieve a goal, implementation is very important. Everyone needs to put their thinking into practice to achieve their goals. Change scan be handled and the legitimacy and function of the organization guaranteed by incorporating this information. Formal education in schools seeks to create unique human beings by encouraging the intellectual growth of students, thereby increasing the general level of intelligence in the country. The aim of this article is to change and provide principles for every teacher to educate students so that students grow more and can know their direction during the learning process. This research uses a qualitative method with a narrative design, this method is used to create a picture or describe the implementation of school guiding principles in managing change for students. to collect detailed actual information that describes existing symptoms, identifies existing problems or looks at prevailing conditions and practices. from the results of this research is that teachers To be able to treat children appropriately and help them develop better behavior in the future, teachers must be aware of their initial abilities. Teachers must be able to encourage students to be able to think critically and creatively. the relationship between students' critical thinking and cognitive development. Teachers must adapt learning methods to the different characters of each child and their different abilities. Education can build a person's character and personality to be better in life and relationships as a member of society
