Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of weaving activities on fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Inayah Klambir Lima. This type of research is experimental, using a pre-experimental research design using a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was the entire group of children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Inayah Klambir Lima with 15 students. The sample used in this study used saturated samples, meaning that all populations were sampled, totaling 15 children. Data collection techniques using observation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and the Wilcoxon test, which was continued with a significance test at 0.025. The results showed that the average value before the weaving activity (pre test) was categorized as sufficient with an average score = 1.82, while after the weaving activity (post test) was categorized as very good with an average score = 3.45. The results of the Wilcoxon test show the value of Whitung = 120> Wtabel = 25, because Whitung> Wtabel, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it is stated that weaving activities have a significant influence on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Inayah Klambir Lima.

Abstract

The application of ethnomathematics in elementary school in the learning process often encounters obstacles, especially for the students themselves, where students are still constrained by abstract things. One of the abstract branches of mathematics taught in schools is Geometry. Geometry is part of what is studied in mathematics lessons. One alternative in learning geometry is to blend in with the culture in the student's own environment. Mathematics learning that is connected to existing culture is called ethnomathematics. The culture that can be connected to mathematics, especially geometry material, is Acehnese culture which contains geometric concepts in it. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of applying ethnomathematics in learning mathematics, geometry material for class III students at SD Negeri 4 Kuala Bate. This research uses a quantitative approach with a one-group posttest only experimental research type. data collection techniques through written tests. The subject of this research involved 18 students. Quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive analysis and using the one sample t-test. The results of the research show that the application of ethnomathematics in teaching mathematics about geometry material in class III of SD Negeri 4 Kuala Bate is effective in increasing students' understanding of geometry material. This is based on the classical completeness results of 88.9% and the results of the paired sample t-test which shows that there is a increase in student learning outcome by using ethnomathematics based learning. So it can be concluded that the aplication of ethnomathematics in learning mathematic with geometry material is effective for class III student at SD Negeri 4 Kuala Bate.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung Waykanan district with problems about the implementation of Islamic religious education based on an open ended approach, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The formulation of the problem in this study is: 1) How is the Implementation Process of Islamic Religious Education Based on an Open-Ended Approach in Improving the Morals of Students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year? 2) What factors hinder the implementation of open-ended approach-based Islamic religious education in improving the morals of students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year? 3) What factors support the implementation of Islamic religious education based on an open-ended approach in improving the morals of students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year? The purpose of this study is to find out why the implementation of the Open-Ended Approach in SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu. The Open-Ended approach is a very effective approach when implemented in the learning process. The implementation of the Open-Ended Approach, makes students able to think creatively and solve problems and can express opinions in the learning process in class. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, this type of research uses case studies and data collection processes, namely interview methods, observation methods, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this pre-study show that the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education Based on an Open-Ended Approach in Improving the Morals of Students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency shows that the steps of the Open-Ended Approach include 3 steps. However, there is still one step in the approach that has not been maximized, namely in the core activity step, the teacher has not used the discussion method so that students are passive and lack the response or enthusiasm of students in the process of learning activities in class. However, after the steps were implemented optimally, the results of the study showed that students experienced a good and satisfying moral improvement. This can be seen from the psychomotor aspect (skills) of daring to present and demonstrate, students become enthusiastic and enthusiastic in following learning, in the process of classroom learning becomes alive. The affective aspect (attitude) can be said to be the maximum of the morals of speaking, the morals of attitude, and the morals of behavior. The cognitive aspect (knowledge) of learners has improved in terms of their comprehension and daily tests.

Abstract

This mini research study aims to find out the factors that cause the problem of not throwing garbage in its place in the canteen of the University of Indonesia Education Cibiru Campus. This mini research research uses a qualitative approach method, namely literature study or literature study as well as conducting observations and interviews with students of the University of Indonesia Education Cibiru Campus. After conducting mini research research, four factors were obtained that caused the problem of not throwing garbage in its place in the canteen of the University of Indonesia Education Cibiru Campus, one of which was the lack of student awareness. Therefore, a solution is needed to solve this problem, one of which is by holding socialization.

Abstract

The research conducted at SDN Sirnagalih Jatinangor reveals that sixth-grade students face difficulties in understanding the concept of circles, particularly circumference and area. The aim of this study is to identify the challenges students encounter when solving problems related to circumference and area of circles. The research employed a qualitative approach, with sixth-grade students from SDN Sirnagalih as the data source. The findings indicate that the students' academic performance in mathematics, specifically in the topic of circumference and area of circles, remains low, with only 5 out of 26 students achieving the set benchmark. Several factors contribute to the students' difficulties, such as a lack of attention to the taught material, slow learning pace among some students, and an unsupportive learning environment. To address these issues, it is recommended to use more effective teaching approaches utilizing visual aids and physical models, provide special attention to slow learners, involve parents in supporting learning at home, and create a conducive learning environment. These measures aim to enhance students' understanding of circle-related concepts and overcome difficulties in problem-solving.

Abstract

Implementation of the Skills Competency Test (UKK) is an assessment carried out specifically for students at SMK which aims to measure the achievement of students' competencies and skills. This research aims to 1) determine the anxiety level of students who take the Skills Competency Test (UKK); 2) Find out whether there is a relationship between anxiety levels and the results of the Skills Competency Test (UKK). The research method used is correlational research with a quantitative approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire measuring anxiety, the Zhung Self-Rating Scale (ZSAS), which was then modified according to the needs of the researcher. The respondents in this study were 67 students who were sampled using a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis method used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results of the research were that 44 respondents had a normal/not anxious level of anxiety, 20 respondents had a mild level of anxiety, and 3 respondents had a moderate level of anxiety. Another research result, namely from the calculation of the product moment correlation test, was obtained a tcount value of (-0.077) < ttable (1.671), which means there is no relationship between the level of anxiety and the results of the Skills Competency Test (UKK) in the TBSM department at SMK N 1 Pleret. The benefits of this research are, 1). Can make it easier for teachers to provide direction and services that are appropriate to students' anxiety levels, 2). Teachers can find out the factors that cause anxiety in students so they can provide guidance and counseling services that are tailored to students' needs. The limitation of this research is that the number of respondents is relatively small. Apart from that, the researcher only conducted research on two variables, namely the level of anxiety and the results of the Skills Competency Test (UKK). Suggestions for future researchers include developing research variables such as the influence of anxiety on learning outcomes, developing innovations and strategies for overcoming anxiety as well as action research that can help overcome student anxiety.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of parental pressure on students that is excessive and makes student learning motivation decrease and results in failure in learning. The habit of parents suppresses or forbids their children to be excessive, not allowed to play a lot, which is very influential on student learning motivation because students consider themselves adults and can take care of themselves which is contrary to the assumptions of parents, namely assuming that their children have become students. still a small child and need supervision of course. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. In this study, researchers used data collection with the observation method, and collected data using a question questionnaire.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that most of the grade II students of SDN 2 Winduraja have low reading literacy skills, to improve reading literacy comprehension apply the scramble method. The scramble method is one of the language games that can help students not to be bored and comfortable when the learning process takes place. This classroom action research consists of two cycles, where each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The method in this study used descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation. Data collection tools use lesson plan observation sheet instruments, teacher activity assessment sheet instruments, student activity observation sheet instruments and reading literacy comprehension test results. The results of this study were in cycle I by 34.61% with an average score of 69.15 and in cycle II an increase of 11.53%, namely with an average score of 86.61. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the use of scramble method can improve students' reading literacy comprehension.

Abstract

The development of technology and information in the world is progressing very rapidly, which is marked by progress in the field of information and technology, and the Indonesian nation is one of the nations involved in the progress of information media and technology. Excessive use of gadgets has a bad influence on children's social-emotional development. This research aims to examine the influence of parenting patterns in the use of gadgets on the social-emotional development of class VI at Sariwangi 1 State Elementary School using qualitative research methods using descriptive analysis research, using data collection techniques, observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. With the research results, parents at SDN 1 Sariwangi mostly apply democratic parenting patterns and there is a positive relationship between the mother's parenting style in using gadgets and the social-emotional development of Class VI children at SDN 1 Sariwangi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of parenting patterns on learning motivation in fourth grade students at SDN Cibunigeulis 4. The problem in this research is that there are students who lack motivation in studying because of problems in parenting patterns at SDN Bunigeulis 4. Methods in research This method uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation and observation. The results of this research are about the analysis of parenting patterns on the learning motivation of grade 4 students at SDN Cibunigeulis 4. There are differences in students' learning motivation in terms of their parents' parenting patterns. Parents who apply a democratic parenting style are better than parents who apply an authoritarian and permissive parenting style. Meanwhile, authoritarian parenting is a category that causes children to be more stressed and spoiled.
