Abstract

Workers are a vital element in the development of the business world and play a crucial role within companies. Industrial relations aim to create a harmonious and mutually beneficial relationship between employers, workers, and the government. Trade unions hold a significant role in preventing workplace conflicts through various functions and effective communication skills. This study aims to evaluate the strategic function of trade unions in fostering harmonious industrial relations in the workplace. Positive industrial relations are essential to achieving productivity, job stability, and employee well-being. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings reveal that trade unions act as a bridge between employees and management, serving as a channel for voicing aspirations and resolving disputes. The success of trade unions in fulfilling their role is strongly influenced by managerial openness, government regulatory support, and the internal capabilities of the union organization. These results reinforce that tripartite collaboration among employers, labor, and the government is essential for creating a healthy and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the workplace environment and the implementation of corporate culture. The main issue examined in this study is how companies are able to maintain and adapt their organizational culture amidst a global crisis marked by uncertainty. This research aims to describe the implementation of corporate culture during the pandemic, identify the adaptation strategies employed, and analyze their impact on employee performance and engagement. The method used involves literature review and analysis of findings from previous studies, both from global and local (Indonesian) contexts. The results indicate that companies implementing strategies such as digitalized communication, empathetic leadership, and the reinforcement of core values virtually were able to maintain their organizational culture effectively. These efforts had a positive impact on employee morale, emotional engagement, and the stability of organizational performance despite the crisis situation.

Abstract

This strategic plan is developed as PT. Rasaraya Food initiative to enhance the competitiveness of its noodle products in the global market through quality improvement, innovation, and market expansion. In response to the growing global consumption of instant noodles, the company emphasizes the need for an integrated strategy, incorporating internal and external analyses using SWOT and PESTEL frameworks. The proposed strategies include upgrading product quality to meet international standards, strengthening innovation with healthy and eco-friendly variants, utilizing digital technology for global distribution, and implementing sustainable business practices. The document also highlights challenges such as limited export experience and the need for skilled human resources at the global level. The implementation plan focuses on gradual market expansion, investment in R&D, digitalization, and strategic partnerships. This strategic direction is expected to position PT. Rasaraya as a key player in a competitive, innovative, and sustainable global noodle industry.

Abstract

The implementation of change within a company is a critical and complex process to ensure the continuity and success of the organization in facing the ever-evolving dynamics of the business environment. Implementing change in a company involves trial processes, system adjustments, and direct adaptation. This journal discusses a systematic and structured action plan to effectively manage the change process. The main focus lies in identifying key success factors, designing implementation steps, the role of leadership, and efforts to mitigate challenges that arise during the process. The use of qualitative research methods through case studies provides an in-depth understanding of best practices in change implementation. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a strategic guide for company management in executing change effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of human resource (HR) competence on the effectiveness of employee performance at the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Bantul Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data as the main data source. The population in this study includes all employees at DIKPORA Bantul Regency. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression, with the equation Y = 1.099 + 0.564X. Based on the t-test, the result shows that = 11.758 = 1.672 and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. This means that HR competence has a significant influence on the effectiveness of employee performance at the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Bantul Regency.

Abstract

Penyusunan rencana strategis PT. Teknologi Hijau Lestari dilakukan sebagai upaya sistematis untuk mengarahkan pertumbuhan dan pengembangan perusahaan dalam menghadapi dinamika bisnis dan tantangan global terkait perubahan iklim, ketahanan energi, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor teknologi ramah lingkungan, PT. Teknologi Hijau Lestari memfokuskan diri pada pengembangan solusi inovatif di bidang energi terbarukan, efisiensi energi, dan digitalisasi sistem pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan arah strategis jangka menengah dan panjang perusahaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan manajemen strategik yang komprehensif. Proses perencanaan diawali dengan analisis lingkungan eksternal melalui kerangka PESTEL (politik, ekonomi, sosial, teknologi, lingkungan, dan legal), serta analisis industri menggunakan model Porter’s Five Forces untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan persaingan dan posisi perusahaan dalam industri teknologi hijau. Di sisi internal, dilakukan evaluasi sumber daya, kapabilitas inti, dan rantai nilai perusahaan menggunakan pendekatan VRIO dan analisis SWOT guna menemukan sinergi antara kekuatan internal dan peluang eksternal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, disusun visi perusahaan sebagai pemimpin inovasi teknologi hijau di kawasan Asia Tenggara, dengan misi utama menghadirkan produk dan layanan yang mendukung transisi energi berkelanjutan. Strategi utama yang ditetapkan mencakup: (1) penguatan riset dan pengembangan untuk menghasilkan teknologi berbasis energi terbarukan; (2) ekspansi pasar melalui kemitraan strategis dengan institusi pemerintah, swasta, dan akademisi; (3) digitalisasi proses produksi dan operasional untuk meningkatkan efisiensi; serta (4) peningkatan kapasitas SDM dan budaya organisasi yang berorientasi pada inovasi dan keberlanjutan. Perencanaan strategis ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan kuat bagi pengambilan keputusan manajerial yang berbasis data dan analisis, serta mendukung PT. Teknologi Hijau Lestari dalam mencapai keunggulan kompetitif jangka panjang. Selain itu, strategi ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada pencapaian target pembangunan berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs) melalui peran aktif sektor swasta dalam transformasi ekonomi hijau di Indonesia.

Abstract

This mini proposal presents the strategic planning design for a hypothetical company, Innovatech Solutions, which operates in software development, AI-based technologies, and digital solutions. In facing the digital era and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the company must adopt adaptive and sustainable strategies. This proposal includes the formulation of vision, mission, long-term objectives, differentiation strategy, market expansion, human resource development, and digital marketing. Performance evaluation is conducted using the Balanced Scorecard approach and supported by strategic management theories such as SWOT Analysis, Porter’s Generic Strategies, and the Resource-Based View. Through this strategic plan, Innovatech Solutions aims to become a market leader in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

This study explores how Apple Inc. applies business ethics amid globalization, where rapid technological growth and global integration create new ethical challenges. Business ethics provide moral guidance crucial for sustaining corporate reputation and public trust. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research analyzes secondary data from literature and case studies. The findings show Apple’s strong commitment to privacy, sustainability, and legal compliance. Key initiatives include user data protection, eco-friendly practices, and supplier responsibility. However, the company still faces criticism related to labor conditions, product accessibility, and alleged anti-competitive behavior. These findings highlight the importance of consistently upholding ethical standards to ensure business sustainability and global competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT HM Sampoerna Tbk over the 2019–2023 period using liquidity ratios (current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio) and profitability ratios (net profit margin, return on assets, return on equity). The research employs financial ratio analysis compared to industry benchmarks. The findings indicate that the current ratio in 2023 is 1.72, below the industry standard of 2.00. The cash ratio is notably low at 0.12, significantly under the standard of 0.50. Profitability indicators also show a decline, with net profit margin at 7%, return on assets at 14.6%, and return on equity at 27.1%, all below industry benchmarks. In conclusion, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk faces challenges in liquidity and profitability management, necessitating improvements in cash flow and operational efficiency to maintain competitiveness in the industry.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi semakin pesat dan membuat industri harus mengikuti perkembangannya. Isu mengenai teknologi ini memang sudah lama digencarkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi yang diakibatkan oleh proses pembuangan hasil pembakaran. Produk baru yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan Jepang dengan merek dagang Yamaha ini mengeluarkan produk baru berupa teknologi blue core hybrid. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan jenis kualitatif dimana penelitian ini akan mengolah secara mendalam perihal tanggapan masyarakat terhadap teknologi blue core hybrid ini. Dalam penelitian ini, motor yang dijadikan sebagai pembanding adalah motor dengan sama-sama memiliki 125 CC. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi. Dari hasil observasi yang sudah dilakukan, maka hasilnya adalah keunggulan pada motor teknologi blue core yaitu hemat bahan bakar, menimbulkan nyaman ketika berkendara, emisi yang dihasilkan rendah, serta identifikasi kerusakan yang mudah.
