Abstract

Strategic planning is an important component in organizational management to achieve long-term goals effectively and efficiently. This study discusses the implementation of strategic planning at PT. Inovasi Digital Nusantara (IDN), a digital innovation company that focuses on developing e-commerce applications in Southeast Asia. The study highlights the importance of change management, technology integration, and business environment evaluation in the formulation and implementation of corporate strategy. The strategic approaches used include Balanced Scorecard, SWOT analysis, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) to improve company performance and competitiveness. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of data-based strategic planning and continuous evaluation allows PT. IDN to adapt to current market and technology changes, improve operational efficiency, and meet customer needs optimally. Recommendations are made for the company to continue to develop a culture of innovation and consistently update its strategy in order to achieve the company's long-term vision.

Abstract

This community service aims to build employee trust and loyalty at Majuma 575 Coffee Shop as an effort to improve the quality of service in the local community. The topic selection was motivated by the need for an effective leadership model in the food and beverage service small and medium enterprise sector that contributes to community economic empowerment. The service method uses a participatory qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and focus group discussions with owners and employees. The results show that the integration of transformational, participative and bureaucratic leadership styles has succeeded in increasing employees' sense of trust, job satisfaction and affective loyalty through the implementation of SOPs, reward systems and regular discussion forums. This success emphasizes the importance of empowering human resources in developing community businesses and supporting the sustainability of outlet operations.

Abstract

Manufacturing companies face challenges in maintaining operational efficiency amid high productivity demands. Organizational structure is an important foundation in the management of a manufacturing company to ensure operational efficiency and the achievement of business objectives. In manufacturing companies, organizational structures are generally hierarchical and functional, dividing tasks and responsibilities based on departments such as production, quality control, marketing, finance, human resources, and research and development. This research aims to examine the role and effectiveness of organizational structure in supporting performance in a manufacturing company. With a descriptive-qualitative approach, an analysis is carried out on the relationship between work units, communication flows, and how the decision-making mechanism is made. The results of the study show that a clear and clearly defined organizational structure is able to improve coordination, speed up decision-making, and minimize duplication of work. Therefore, designing an appropriate and efficient organizational structure is a strategic factor in increasing the competitiveness of manufacturing companies in the midst of increasingly fierce industrial competition.

Abstract

This purposse study to determine and analyze the influence of work discipline and work environment both simultaneously and partially on the work productivity of production employees at CV. Wijaya Family Tasikmalaya. The method used in this study is a survei. With a research sample of 100 production employees as respondents. The data used is primary and secondary data. The analysis tool used in this study is multiple linear regression using the SPSS version.25 support application. The test results show that simultaneously showing the variables used in the study, namely work discipline and work environment, have a significant effect on the work productivity of production employees at CV. Wijaya Family Tasikmalaya. Likewise, partially there is a significant effect of discipline on the work productivity of production employees, and there is a significant effect between the work environment on the work productivity of employees at CV. Wijaya Family Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

This journal examines the strategic approach to enhancing competitiveness and product innovation at PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, a leading food and beverage company in Indonesia. The study outlines the company’s vision, mission, and long-term objectives, proposing strategies aimed at strengthening its market position through innovation and operational efficiency. Key strategies such as product diversification, quality enhancement, and research and development (R&D) are identified to build and sustain competitive advantage. The analysis draws on recent strategic theories, including the Competitive Advantage Theory (Zeng et al., 2021), Disruptive Innovation Theory (Morris et al., 2019), and the Resource-Based View (RBV) (Chirico et al., 2020). The paper concludes with practical recommendations for Indofood to maintain its industry leadership and continue innovating in response to evolving consumer demands and competitive pressures.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of individual characteristics, including motivation, personality, competence, and work attitude, in enhancing employee performance within organizational settings. Utilizing a literature review approach, this research analyzes various previous studies and literature that demonstrate how positive individual characteristics significantly contribute to work effectiveness and productivity. The findings indicate that employees with high motivation tend to be more proactive and committed, while adaptive personality traits and adequate skills enhance their ability to complete tasks effectively. Furthermore, a positive work attitude plays a crucial role in creating a conducive work environment, which in turn can reduce turnover rates and increase employee loyalty. The implications of this research provide insights for human resource management in designing more effective employee development strategies, thereby maximizing individual potential and achieving organizational goals as a whole.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen strategik dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) berbasis digital, dengan studi kasus pada produk pempek rajungan di Desa Sukajaya, Kecamatan Cilamaya Kulon, Kabupaten Karawang. UMKM merupakan sektor penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi lokal, namun sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses pasar, teknologi, dan sumber daya manusia. Melalui pendekatan manajemen strategik yang mencakup analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal, formulasi strategi, serta implementasi dan evaluasi strategi, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana digitalisasi dapat diintegrasikan untuk mendorong pertumbuhan UMKM secara berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi digital marketing, optimalisasi media sosial, serta pemanfaatan platform e-commerce secara signifikan meningkatkan jangkauan pasar dan penjualan produk pempek rajungan. Dengan demikian, manajemen strategik berbasis digital menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di era transformasi digital.

Abstract

Change is an inevitability in a dynamic organizational environment. Organizations that are able to survive and grow are those that can manage change effectively and strategically. This study aims to explore change management strategies that contribute to improving organizational performance. The main focus of this study includes identifying key success factors for change, the role of leadership, and the involvement of all organizational elements in the transition process. The methodology used is a qualitative approach through literature review and analysis of various change management models that have been applied in organizational practice. The findings show that well-planned and structured change management strategies can have a positive impact on organizational performance, in terms of efficiency, productivity, and employee satisfaction. Effective strategies involve open communication, continuous training, regular evaluations, and leadership that provides direction and motivation. Therefore, organizations need to adopt adaptive and sustainable change management approaches to ensure the success of transformation and the achievement of long-term goals.

Abstract

The lack of inter-departmental communication in the manufacturing industry is a critical issue that affects production efficiency, product quality, and operational costs. This study examines four real cases caused by miscommunication between the Production, PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control), and Engineering departments, namely: (1) failure in design change integration, (2) misalignment between planning and capacity, (3) procedural errors, and (4) failure in information system integration. The research method employs a literature review of accredited journals (2016–2021) and company case studies. The findings identify recurring issues such as information asymmetry, weak coordination procedures, fragmented information systems, and silo mentality. Recommended solutions include technological implementations (integrated ERP/APS systems), collaborative procedures (daily meetings, ECO), and human resource training (cross-departmental communication). These findings underscore that system integration, standardized procedures, and a collaborative culture are key to enhancing organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the human resource training and development program run by the Kinaria Mandiri Jember Course and Training Institute (LKP) is able to provide real impacts for participants. Through a descriptive approach with a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, data were collected from questionnaires, interviews, and direct observations. The results of the study indicate that the training provided is quite effective in improving the skills and work readiness of participants. Relevant materials, competent instructors, and adequate facilities are the main supporting factors. However, this program still has room for improvement, especially in terms of post-training outcome evaluation and follow-up to alumni. Overall, this program has made a positive contribution to the development of local human resources, and is expected to continue to be developed so that its benefits are wider and more sustainable.
