Abstract

The community service activity carried out is a PAUD seminar on the topic of early childhood parenting in the digital era. This service program was carried out at Kindergarten Aisyiyah II Perumnas, Makassar City. The seminar participants were 26 people consisting of parents of students, the head of the Karunrung branch of the Kindergarten Aisyiyah II foundation, teachers and 2 students who were carrying out the Teaching Assistance MBKM program at Kindergarten Aisyiyah II Perumnas. This service program aims to provide knowledge to parents about appropriate parenting patterns in the digital era for children. The implementation methods used in this service are presentation, lecture and discussion methods. Next, the data collected was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test with the help of SPSS, the results of which showed that the data Asymp (2-tailed) = 0.01 < 0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference between participants' understanding before and after being given the PAUD Seminar. The results of the service show that there has been an increase in awareness of parenting patterns, increased understanding of participants, increased parents' understanding of the characteristics of children in the digital era, appropriate parenting patterns in the digital era, strategies for building effective communication with early childhood in the digital era. The research results showed an increase in teacher knowledge after attending the training. The Wilcoxon sign-rank statistical test shows a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores, indicating an increase in knowledge after training.

Abstract

The strengthening of the PAUD-SD transition requires a collaborative effort from various parties with their respective roles ranging from parents/guardians, teachers, and also the government. As teachers and parents, it is very important to understand the PAUD-SD transition process because it will jointly build children's foundation abilities holistically and gradually since they are at the PAUD level. There are still many parents who do not understand their role in strengthening the PAUD-SD transition and there are still many parents who understand the information that PAUD should not foster literacy and numeracy, while entering primary school education, a calistung test is applied as part of the admission of new students. In addition, parents also understand that learning practices in PAUD are inconsistent, with some PAUD units focusing heavily on literacy skills and memorization, while others are completely anti-pursuit. Based on this phenomenon, the solution offered for this problem is to carry out a parenting program on the role of parents in strengthening a pleasant PAUD-SD Transition. The purpose of this activity is for parents to understand their role in strengthening the PAUD SD transition. The methods for implementing this activity are: (1) Conduct a situation analysis by conducting a dialogue with parents regarding what is done to support children entering elementary school; (2) Design a mentoring program to provide knowledge for parents; (3) Implement Parenting Seminar activities; and (4) Evaluate activities by conducting joint reflections. The result of this activity is that parents understand what parents should do that economic readiness alone is not enough in preparing children to enter elementary school, but must support children from fostering curiosity, emotional development, language use, cognitive development, and general knowledge.

Abstract

The community service activity carried out was a PAUD Seminar with the topic Problem Solving in Early Childhood Care in the Digital Era. Consisting of 20 parents, 3 teachers, 1 principal, and 5 students who are carrying out Teaching Assistance activities at Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten. This service program aims to make parents, teachers and school principals more familiar with problem solving for children and the efforts that can be made. The implementation methods used in this service are presentation, lecture and discussion methods. The results of this service activity were measured using a pre-test and post-test for participation to determine the increase in understanding before and after being given PAUD seminar material: Problem Solving in Early Childhood Care in the Digital Era. The collected data was then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test with the help of SPSS, the results of which showed that the data Asymn (2-tailed) = 0.01 < 0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference between participants' understanding before and after being given the PAUD Seminar. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in participants' understanding of child care and also an increase in participants' understanding of problem solving that could be done in child care in the digital era.

Abstract

 The community service activity carried out was a PAUD Seminar with the topic Getting to Know Children with Special Needs (ABK) which was held at the Naurah Kindergarten & Play Group. The seminar was attended by four teachers, one principal, one operator, and eight students who are currently participating in the Program MBKM Independent Study at Naurah Kindergarten & Play Group. This is a community service activity. The aim of this service program is to increase the knowledge of teachers and school principals regarding the close knowledge of Children with Special Needs (ABK) and the methods that can be used to handle them. Presentations, lectures and discussions are the implementation methods used in this service. The results of this service activity are measured through assessing Pre-test and Post-test participation in the PAUD seminar material: Getting to Know Children with Special Needs (ABK). Next, the data collected was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test with the help of SPSS, the results of which showed that the data Asymp (2-tailed) = 0.01 < 0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference between participants' understanding before and after being given the PAUD Seminar. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in awareness of Children with Special Needs, an increase in participants' understanding of the types of Children with Special Needs, and also an increase in participants' understanding of the treatment efforts that can be taken for children with special needs.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM): Pelatihan penyusunan instrumen asesmen minat dan gaya belajar anak bagi guru di Taman Kanak-kanak di Kabupaten Majene, ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi  dan kemampuan dasar guru dalam penguasaan penilaian pada satuan pendidikan khususnya di Taman Kanak-kanak. PKM ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023 di Kabupaten Majene Sulawesi Barat dengan mitra Ikatan Guru Taman Kanak-kanak Indonesia (IGTKI) Cabang Banggae Kabupaten Majene Sulawesi Barat. Peserta PKM ini terdiri atas guru dan kepala sekolah satuan PAUD. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan  penugasan. Analisis tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan PKM ini adalah melalui pengukuran tingkat penguasaan materi serta penyelesaian tugas. Kondisi akhir pelaksanaan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat memahami bagaimana penyusunan Asesmen Diagnostik pada Aspek kesiapan dan minat belajar anak di Taman Kanak-kanak. Keberhasilan PKM ini dapat dilihat dari tingginya partisipasi dan motivasi serta kedisiplinan peserta selama kegiatan pelatihan berlangsung.

Abstract

The service program is carried out by providing training to PAUD teachers on the implementation of inclusive education in Manggarupi Kindergarten. The participants consisted of 18 people, including parents, teachers, and 4 students who participated in the teaching assistance program. The goal is to convey an understanding to teachers that specially gifted children can receive education that suits their abilities. The training uses presentation and discussion methods. The results showed an increase in teacher knowledge after attending the training. The results of the Wilcoxon sign-rank test, then obtained results that show that the value of Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) obtained a p-value of 0.000 = 0% and α=5%, meaning p-value< α = 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. Thus, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there is an increase in teacher knowledge after conducting training on the implementation of inclusive education for ECCE teachers in Manggarupi Kindergarten.
