Abstract

The objectives of this research to find out the factors caused the students’ anxiety in speaking performance and to find out the students’ strategies to overcome the level of language anxiety in speaking performance. The research applied a qualitative descriptive as research method. It was conducted in UPT SMPN 13 Gresik. The data were gathered by questionaire, observations and interview. While, technique and data source triangulation were used to validate data. The results of this study indicate that not all levels of language anxiety are experienced by students.

Abstract

إن الأصل في المثل قائم على تشبيه شئ بشئ تشابه أو تماثل بينهما أو لوجود أكثر من عنصور تشابه. والأمثال إما أن يكون بسيطا أو  ما يسمى باللأمثال المصرحة أي المشتمل على تمثيل مفرد بالمفرد و إما أن يكون مركبا أو ما يسمى بالأمثال الكامنة أي هي التي تقدم على شكل لوحة تصور أكثر من مفرد، ووجه تشبيه فيه لا يكون مأخوذا من مفرد بعينه، بل يكون مأخوذا منه ومن غيره أو من الصورة العامة. وضرب الأمثال في القرآن يستفاد منه بعض الأمور وهي: التذكير، والوعظ، والحث، والزجر، والإعتبار، والتقرير، وترتيب المراد للعقل، وتصريره في صورة المحسوس بحيث نسبته للفعل كنسبة المحسوس إلى الحس. وتأتي الأمثال في القرآن مشتملة على بيان تفاوت الأجر وعلى تحقيق أمر وإبطال أمر.   وتتكون في السور المكية من 91 مثلا مصرحا. وهذه الأمثال المصرحة تنتشر في 33 سورة، وسورة إبراهيم هي أعلى الدرجات في عدد تكرار الأمثال المصرحة من جميع السور المكية. و تأتي ترجمة الأمثال المصرحة في السور المكية عند هيئة الترجمة من وزارة الشئون الدينية  بمعنى: (1) النظير أو المقارنة، و(2) المثال أو النمودج، و(3) تشبيه شيئ بشيئ. The foundation of a proverb lies in the comparison of one thing with another due to similarity or resemblance between them, or because they share more than one element of likeness. Proverbs may be simple, known as explicit metaphors (al-amtsāl al-muṣarraḥah), which involve the comparison of one individual thing with another; or complex, known as implicit metaphors (al-amtsāl al-kāminah), which are presented in the form of an image depicting more than one element, where the aspect of comparison is not taken from one particular thing but from several, or from the general image as a whole. The use of parables in the Qur’an serves several purposes: reminding, admonishing, encouraging, warning, drawing lessons, confirming truths, making concepts clearer to the intellect, and presenting abstract meanings in tangible form, so that the relation of meaning to action becomes as clear as that of the tangible to the sense. In the Qur’an, parables also express differences in reward, confirm certain truths, and refute falsehoods.In the Makkan surahs, there are 91 explicit metaphors, spread across 33 surahs, with Surah Ibrāhīm ranking highest in the number of occurrences of explicit metaphors among all the Makkan surahs. In the translation issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, these explicit metaphors in the Makkan surahs are generally rendered with the meanings of (1) Analogy or comparison, (2) Example or model, and (3) The act of likening one thing to another.

Abstract

Education is an effort made by humans to hone and maximize the potential that is in them. So to support the achievement of the educational goals listed in the law it is necessary to have good collaboration from various elements of education including educators and students as actors in realizing educational goals. the existence of an independent curriculum is also an effort by the government to overcome the setback in education which is the impact of the existence of covid. In the Independent Curriculum, principals and educators are given the freedom to develop lesson plans, implement learning and develop curricula based on the needs of students. assessment is the initial step for evaluating and planning further learning, in general the purpose of the assessment is to see the learning outcomes of students. Assessment in the independent curriculum is completely left to educators in which the form of assessment is divided into two, namely formative and summative assessment. English is a tool for communicating orally and in writing. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. While the type of research used in this research is descriptive by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method includes three stages, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to test the validity of using source triangulation and technique triangulation. With the results of the research that the implementation of the independent curriculum at SDN 07 Kaliwining rambipuji received a good response with the implementation of various assessments listed in the independent curriculum such as written tests, oral tests, portfolios and projects in learning English, and supported by the existence of worksheets for support student knowledge and facilitate educator assessment.

Abstract

This research departs from the phenomenon of rampant intolerance in Indonesia, rampant issues of SARA, brawl between students, discrimination between majority and minority because of the lack of understanding tolerance. Learning Islamic Religious Education is one means to disseminate the importance of understanding religious tolerance to students.The focus of research in this thesis are: (1) How to Study Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in developing student humanist value in State Junior High School 1Rambipuji and Catholic Junior High School St. Petrus Jember?; (2) How to study Islamic Education (PAI) in developing pluralist values of students at State Junior High School 1Rambipuji and Catholic Junior High School St. Petrus Jember?; (3) How to study Islamic Education (PAI) in developing the democratic value of students at State Junior High School 1Rambipuji and Catholic Junior High School St. Petrus Jember? This thesis uses descriptive qualitative approach with case study type research with multi case design. Data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. Researchers analyzed data with multi-case analysis of individual and cross site case analysis. Data validity using source triangulation. The findings show: First, PAI learning in the development of democratic, humanist and pluralist values at Rambipuji 1 Junior High School is the development in the classroom with PAI learning materials. From Class VII material as in the 2013 curriculum syllabus, class VIII is in the curriculum syllabus of KTSP, class IX as in the curriculum of the KTSP curriculum. While in St. Petrus Jember Middle School uses 18 character guidelines. The development of democratic values is also realized by bringing in teachers in accordance with the students 'religion, the activity of choosing class leaders and the student council leader in a democratic manner regardless of students' backgrounds, so that each student has the right to be chosen, besides that students are entitled to follow the talents and interests they want as self-development. The development of humanist values is also realized through social service activities, darling and scouts. The development of pluralistic values is realized by halal bil halal, the prohibition on eating is arbitrarily found during the holy month and praying according to the religion of each of them when steamala or before learning begins

Abstract

Speaking is one of the critical communication skills that students should be able to acquire. By speaking, they can convey thoughts, feelings, arguments, and ideas as well as emotions and other mental states. Yet, there are many problems faced by students in learning speaking. Due to those problems, choosing an appropriate media for teaching learning is an ability that every teacher must have. One of the entertaining and intriguing games that may be used to teach speaking is snake and ladder game. This study reports the advantages and the disadvantages of snake and ladder game in teaching speaking. While, the outcome can be summed up as follows: The Snake and Ladder game's design has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of the Snake and Ladder game is that it encourages students to practice speaking since it creates an enjoyable and relaxed learning environment. By forcing students to practice speaking since they must do so while playing, the snake and ladder game may help students indirectly enhance their English-speaking abilities. One of the drawbacks of the Snake and Ladder game is that it takes a lot of planning and practice time.

Abstract

This article provides a brief review of psycholinguistic research that has been conducted to reveal the processes and representations of bilingualism that occur in a multicultural society, especially. The main conclusion from the description of the different levels of representation that has been presented both at the lexical level, semantic level, and syntactic level is that bilingual speakers always experience different languages as long as their use continues. Both bilingual speakers and speech partners benefit from the universal characteristics of the languages they master in an integrated manner. In line with this conclusion, recommendations that can be given regarding psycholinguistic research are on the study of language control and language transfer.

Abstract

The problems that occur in education in Indonesia include the decrease in the degradation of the character of elementary school students, the use of learning methods that seem difficult for students to understand, are less flexible, less democratic, and tend to be more dominant using one method. For this reason, MI/SD Citizenship Education learning must be strengthened so that in the future it can combine the practice of Pancasila values ​​in everyday life, westernized culture that has permeated Indonesian culture can be minimized starting from styles in speaking, dressing or others. In this study the aims were to describe the urgency of civics education in elementary schools, civics education in the Indonesian context, and the conceptual framework of civic competence in the 2013 curriculum. This study adopted an idea of ​​a descriptive qualitative. the use of techniques applied in this research by taking interview techniques, documentation, and field notes through several stages including data collection, recording, reviewing data sources, and processing information. This research was conducted at MIN 6 Brebes by taking the subjects in this study were fifth grade students and teaching staff who were at MIN 6 Brebes. The urgency of elementary school citizenship education is to prepare young people who understand the contemporary world, play an active role both in solving national and global problems, and to become active contributors to a more just, peaceful, tolerant, safe and sustainable world.

Abstract

تعليم الإنشاء درس من دروس اللغة العربية وهو يلعب دورا مهما في تنمية مهارة اللغة العربية لاسيما في مهارة الكتابة ، واستراتيجية التعليم نشاط مختار اختاره المعلم لطلابه وهي أداة محتاجة في التعليم ، كما تنال أهداف التعليم المرادة فعالا . كذلك في تعليم الإنشاء ، على المعلم اختيار الاستراتيجية الجيدة لنجاح تعليمه . انطلاقا من خلفية البحث السابقة ،إشكالية البحث حيث يكون فيها المسألة الرئيسية ، وهي : كيف استخدام استراتيجية تعليم الإنشاء؟ والمسألة الفرعية وهي:ما مشکلات استخدام استراتيجية في تعليم الإنشاء؟ أما أهداف هذا البحث : لمعرفة كيفية استخدام استراتيجية تعليم الإنشاء و لمعرفة مشكلات استخدام استراتيجية تعليم الإنشاء. استخدم الباحثان المدخل الكيفي ونوع دراسة الحالة في هذا البحث . أما طريقة جمع البيانات التي استخدمتها الباحثانة هي الملاحظة والمقابلة والوثائقية . ثم طريقة تحليل البيانات بالتحليل التفاعلي لمالس وهوبرمان واختبار صحتها بتثليث المصادر وتثليث أدوات البحث . وأما النتائج التي حصلت عليها الباحثان من سؤالين سابقين هي : قد استخدمت معلمة الإنشاء في استراتيجية إنشاء الجملة من المفردة الجديدة وإنشاء القصة في الفئات والإنشاء على شكل المجلة الحائطية والتصويرية في تعليم الإنشاء . والمشكلات في استخدام استراتيجية تعليم الإنشاء تنقسم إلى ثلاث نواحي ؛ وهي المادة غير المخصوصة لتعليم الإنشاء، والمعلمة قد تغيب في التعليم، والطالبات منهن من فكرتها ضعيفة وإتقان مفرداتها قليل وفهم قواعدها ضعيف. Teaching al-Insyā’ (composition) is one of the lessons in Arabic language instruction and plays an important role in developing Arabic language skills, especially writing skills. A teaching strategy is a deliberate activity chosen by the teacher for the students and serves as an essential tool in the teaching process to achieve the intended educational objectives. Likewise, in teaching composition, the teacher must choose an effective strategy to ensure the success of the instruction. Based on the research background, the main problem of this study is: How is the strategy of teaching composition used? The sub-problem is: What are the difficulties in using strategies in teaching composition? The objectives of this study are to determine how the teaching strategy for composition is applied and to identify the problems encountered in using such strategies. The researchers used a qualitative approach with the case study method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model, and the validity of the data was tested through source triangulation and method triangulation. The results obtained from the two research questions indicate that the composition teacher employed several strategies: sentence construction using new vocabulary, story creation in class groups, and wall magazine and visual composition activities in teaching composition. The problems encountered in implementing these strategies fall into three main areas: (1) teaching materials not specifically designed for composition instruction, (2) teacher’s occasional absence during lessons, and (3) students’ weak understanding of ideas, limited vocabulary mastery, and poor grasp of grammar.

Abstract

هذا البحث يبحث عن حروف الجر في مولد الديبعي، مولد الديبعي هو الكتاب المدائح وسيرة حياة النبي على صورة القصة. مولد الديبعي للإمام عبد الرحمن الديبعي هو كتاب مشهور عند المسلمين في العالم الإسلامي وفي إندونيسيا. محتويات هذا الكتاب هو المدائح وسيرة حياة النبي على صورة القصة، لتذكار ولاحتفال مولد النبي محمد صلى ألله عليه وسلم الذي يكتبه الإمام عبد الرحمن الديبعي. وحرف الجر هي كلمة تدل على معنى في غيرها، وقد تكون حرف الجر إذا دخلت على الكلمة بنفس الحرف فلها كثيرة من المعنى التي مختلفة، فلذا اهتم الباحث بمناقشة هذا البحث. وأما اسئلة في هذا البحث هي: 1) كم عدد حروف الجر في "مولد الديبعي" للإمام عبد الرحمن؟. 2) ما معاني حروف جر "من" في "مولد الديبعي" للإمام عبد الرحمن؟. 3). ما العبر والثمرات التي تأخذ من "مولد الديبعي" للإمام عبد الرحمن؟. ومنهج البحث استخدمه الباحث فهو منهج البحث كيفي، ومصادر بياناتها هي مولد الديبعي. وطريقة جمع البيانات هي طريقة مكتبية وطريقة وثائقية. أما نتائج هذا البحث هي أن عدد حروف الجر في مولد الديبعي ١٤٣ حرفا. ويحتوي عليها ٩ حرفا وهي: (من، إلى، حتى، في، عن، على، لام، كاف، باء). أما معاني حرف جر "من" الموجودة في هذا المولد فكما يلي: حرف الجر "من" فيها لها ستة معان يعني ابتداء الغاية والتأكيد والتبعيض والبيان وبمعنى عن والتعليل. ثم العبرة والثمرات في هذ المولد هي خَلقه وخُلقه وشمائله ومعجزاته وإرهاصاته. ومعرفة شمائله وشيمه ومعجزاته وإرهاصاته تستدعي كمال الإيمان به عليه الصلاة والسلام وزيادة المحبة. إذ الإنسان مطبوع ومجبول على حب الجميل خلقا وخلقا علما وعملا، حالا واعتقادا.This research examines the prepositions in Mawlid al-Dībā‘ī. Mawlid al-Dībā‘ī is a book of praises and a narrative-style biography of the Prophet’s life, and it is well known among Muslims around the Islamic world and in Indonesia. Its contents consist of praises and the story of the Prophet Muhammad’s life, written by Imam ‘Abd al-Raḥmān al-Dībā‘ī to commemorate and celebrate the Prophet’s birth. A preposition is a particle that conveys meaning through the word that follows it, and when a preposition enters a word, it may carry several different meanings. Therefore, the researcher chose to study this topic. The research questions are: (1) How many prepositions appear in Mawlid al-Dībā‘ī by Imam ‘Abd al-Raḥmān? (2) What are the meanings of the preposition min in Mawlid al-Dībā‘ī? (3) What lessons and values can be derived from Mawlid al-Dībā‘ī? The research uses a qualitative method with Mawlid al-Dībā‘ī as its primary data source, and the data were collected through library and document-based methods. The findings show that Mawlid al-Dībā‘ī contains 143 prepositions, consisting of nine types: min, ilā, ḥattā, fī, ‘an, ‘alā, lām, kāf, and bā’. The preposition min in the text carries six meanings: beginning of a limit, emphasis, partitive meaning, explanatory meaning, the meaning of “from” as “ʿan,” and causal meaning. The lessons and values found in the Mawlid include the Prophet’s physical form, character, noble traits, miracles, and early signs of prophethood. Knowing his traits, virtues, miracles, and early signs of prophethood strengthens one’s faith in him and increases love for him, for humans are naturally inclined to love what is beautiful in form and character, in knowledge and action, in state and belief.

إنَّ طرائق التدريس لا تقتصر على تيسير عملية التعلّم فحسب، بل تهدف أيضًا إلى بناء دافعية التعلّم وإيجاد أجواء من المتعة والمرح والراحة لدى الطالبات، وهناك العديد من الطرائق التي يمكن للمعلم استخدامها، ومنها طريقة التعليم بالأقران التي تُسهم في زيادة دافعية التعلّم لدى الطالبات ولا سيما في دروس العلوم الاجتماعية، ويُعدّ التعليم بالأقران إحدى طرائق التدريس النشطة القائمة على التعلّم والتي تتيح للطالبات فرصًا للتعلّم بصورة جيدة وفي الوقت نفسه تجعلهنّ مرجعًا أو مصدرًا للتعلّم بالنسبة للآخرين. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى وصف خطوات تعليم مهارة القراءة من خلال المعلّمات الأقران في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية فتح الله بسومبركرانغ – غندينغ – بروبولنغو للعام الدراسي 2022–2023م، وكذلك بيان العوامل الداعمة والمعيقة لعملية تعليم مهارة القراءة من خلال المعلّمات الأقران في المدرسة نفسها. ويندرج هذا البحث ضمن البحوث النوعية باستخدام المنهج الوصفي النوعي، وقد استخدمت الباحثة في جمع البيانات أساليب الملاحظة والمقابلات والوثائق، وهو بحث وصفي ينتج بيانات وصفية من الأشخاص الذين تمّت ملاحظتهم، وتشمل تقنيات تحليل البيانات جمع البيانات وتكثيفها وعرضها واستخلاص النتائج، مع التحقق من صحتها باستخدام التثليث المنهجي وتثليث المصادر. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن خطوات تنفيذ طريقة التعليم بالأقران تتضمن شرح الخطوات وتوضيح الأهداف وتنفيذ الأنشطة وتقديم الخلاصة، أما العوامل الداعمة فتشمل التفاعل بين المعلم والطالبات واهتماماتهنّ وشعورهنّ بالراحة، في حين تتمثل العوامل المعيقة في نقص استعداد المعلم وظروف الطالبات داخل الصف وعدم كفاية البنية التحتية.   Teaching methods are not only to facilitate the learning process, but also to build learning motivation, joy, fun, and comfort for female students as well. There are many methods that can be used by teachers including the peer tutor method to increase the learning motivation of female students, especially in social science lessons. Peer tutoring is one of the learning-based active teaching methods that provides opportunities and encourages female students to learn something good, and at the same time Time becomes a reference person for others. The objectives of this research are: 1) To describe the steps for teaching reading skills through peer teachers at the Islamic Middle School, Fatahillah Sumberkerang Gending Probolinggo, for the academic year 2022-2023 AD. 2) Describe the factors supporting and hindering the teaching of reading skills through peer teachers at the Fatahillah Islamic Middle School Somberkerang Gending Probolinggo for the academic year 2022-2023 AD. The research conducted by the author is embedded in qualitative research using a descriptive qualitative approach. In the process of collecting data, the author used observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The type of this research is descriptive research that produces descriptive data from people who have been observed. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation and interview. The data analysis technique in this research is data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques using triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study are: 1) The steps for implementing the peer teacher teaching method in the Fatahillah Islamic Middle School Somberkerang Gending Probolinggo include: delivering the steps and objectives for delivering the conclusions 2) The factors supporting the implementation of the peer teacher method include the interaction between teachers and students, the students’ interests, and the students’ comfort. Factors inhibiting the implementation of the peer tutor method include lack of teacher preparation, student conditions in the classroom, and inadequate infrastructure
