Abstract

The purposes of this study were to describe the students’ difficulties in vocabulary mastery and the factors that caused students’ difficulties in mastering vocabulary. This research employed qualitative approach using phenomenology design. The data were gathered by observation, interview, and document review. Data technique and data source triangulation were used to validate the collated data. The result of this research revealed that several students had difficulties in vocabulary mastery. This study showed that: first, the difficulties encountered by students were that the students got difficulties in translating words or sentences in English into Indonesian and vice versa. Students also experienced difficulties in understanding the meaning of words, pronunciation, misspelling, and remembering or memorizing English vocabulary. Secondly, there were some factors that caused students got difficulties in vocabulary mastery. Students were reluctant to open dictionaries and less interested in learning English. This condition became the hindrance for them to practice English regularly. The other issues were external factors such as inadequate facilities and the negative influence of friends that at the end have made them difficult to learn English especially vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

إن الهدف لغة كل مرتفع مرئي أو الغاية. وأما المراد بالهدف من المنظور التربوي فهو الوصف الموضوعي الدقيق لأشكال التغير المطلوب إحداثها في سلوك الطالب بعد مروره بخبرة تعليمية معينة. يشتق المعلم أهداف التعليم من عدة عناصر مهمة. هي فلسفة التربية وفلسفة المجتمع وطموحاته ومشكلاته وطبيعة نمو المتعلم وخصائصه وحاجاته وميوله واتجاهاته وطبيعة المادة الدراسية وآراء المتخصصين الأكاديميين. يسعى متعلم اللغة إلى تحقيق هذه الأهداف، هي (أ) الكفاية اللغوية: ويقصد بها سيطرة المتعلم على النظام الصوتي للغة العربية تمييزا وإنتاجا، ومرفته بتراكيب اللغةة، وقواعدها الأساسية، نظريا ووظيفيا والإلمام بقدر مناسب من مفردات اللغة للفهم والاستعمال، و(ب) والكفاية الاتصالية:، ويقصد بها قدرة المتعلم على استخدام اللغة بصورة تلقائية، والتعبير بطلاقة عن أفكاره وخبراته، مع تمكنه من استيعاب ما يتلقى من اللغة في يسر وسهولة ج) والكفاية الثقافية: ويقصد بها ما تحمله اللغة العربية من ثقافة تعبر عن أفكار أصحابها وتجاربهم وقيمهم وعاداتهم وآدابهم وفنونهم، وعلى مدرس اللغة العربية تنمية هذه الكفايات الثلاث لدى الطلاب من بداية البرنامج إلى نهايته، وفي جميع المستويات. تنقسم المؤسسات التربوية في إندونيسا إلى قسمين، المؤسسات التي تحققت فيها الأهداف الثلاث كلها والمؤسسات التي تحققت فيها بعض الأهداف.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out whether the implementation of Snowball throwing technique can improve students’ speaking skill among the eight grade students of SMP Nurul Islam Jember. The focused on this research is speaking skill. This research was classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR) of Kemmish and Taggart which consisted of four procedures, namely planning the action, implementing the action, observing and reflecting. In this research, the researcher conducted two cycles. The cycle was applied on November 2020 which consisted of three meetings, two meetings for implementing the action and one meeting for students’ speaking test or post test. The result of this research showed that there was improvement of the students’ speaking skill. It could be seen from the result of the test which improved. The mean score of the pre-test was 55.46 the mean score of post-test 1 was 65.35. The mean score of post-test 2 was 79.46. The precentage of students who passed the minimum score in pre-test was 21%, in cyle 1 was 46%, and cycle 2 was 78%. It can be conclouded that there were improvement of students’ speaking skill by implementing snowball throwing technique.

Abstract

This study explores the Kahlil Gibran’s poetry using the hermeneutical approach. This study aims (1) to examine the intrinsic elements of his poetry and (2)to explain the romantic meaning in his poetry. The scope of this study covers seven poems of Khalil Gibran. All romantic words and meanings could be used as the data. The hermeneutic approach requires interpretation. The meaning of the poetry is influenced by each reader's perceptions of knowledge and experience, environment factor, the perspective or dimension of their interest, and other extrinsic factors. The first to the seventh poem shows that Khalil Gibran often uses the word love related to the romantic meaning. It is also based on Khalil Gibran's biography of his life. It tells about his love, live and life.

Abstract

مهارة الكلام هي إحدى من المهارت اللغوية الأربعة في دراسة اللغة العربية. ويستهدف ان يملك الطلب قدرة وكفاءة وميولا ورغبة في اللغة العربية. ولما اطلع الباحث عن تحسين مهارة الكلام بأنه يلعب بدور هام في نجاح عملية تعليم العربية لاسيما في مجال ممارسة التعليم المصغر بما أنها كشكل من أشكال التخضير لتصبح مدرسا محترفا لمعلمي اللغة العربية المؤهلين. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى: معرفة تحسين مهارة الكلام باللغة العربية من خلال ممارسة التعليم المصغر لدى الطلاب بشعبة تعليم اللغة العربية في الجامعة الإسلامية الحكومية جمبر. استخدم الباحث في هذا البحث المنهج الكيفي الوصفي تم وجمع البيانات بالملاحظة والمقابلة الشخصية والوثائقية وحللها بطريق ميليس وهوبرمن. ومصادر البيانات هي المعاينة العمدية. أما النتائج مما حصل الباحث بهذ البحث فهي: أن تحسين مهارة الكلام باللغة العربية من خلال ممارسة التعليم المصغر لدى الطلاب بشعبة تعليم اللغة العربية في الجامعة الإسلامية الحكومية جمبر هي الشعور بالنقصان في مهارة الكلام باللغة العربية في ممارسة تعليم المصغر.

Abstract

اللغة العربية هي اللغة التي تدرس على نطاق واسع في إندونيسيا. هي موجودة في إندونيسيا مند أن دخل الإسلام في هذا البلد. حيث أن تعلم اللغة العربية في البداية منحصر في حدود تعلم الدين وحده. ومع مرور الأيام والأزمان، تغير وجهة نظر الشعب، ما جعل تعلم اللغة العربية ليس لمجرد أغراض دينية فحسب، هو أكثر من ذلك مثل لصالح التواصل. ولكن في الممارسة، يركز أكثر المعلمين على تعلم القواعد وقراءة الكتب الكلاسيكية, وهذا يؤثر على ممارسة الطلاب عند التواصل باللغة العربية. كثير من الطلاب يدخلون العناصر من لغة الأم. اما اسئلة هذا البحث هي كيف ممارسة التفاوت اللغوي والثقافي في تعليم اللغة العربية؟ والمنهج المستخدم في هذا البحث هي المنهج الكيفي ونتيجة هذا البحث هو التفاوت اللغوي والثقافي في تعليم اللغة العربية يؤثر على ممارسة الطلاب عند التواصل باللغة العربية. كثير من الطلاب يدخلون العناصر من لغة الأم.

Abstract

Bawean language is identified as a hybrid language. Many languages influence the vocabulary of the Bawean language. At least, there are Madurese, Javanese, Malay, Buginese, etc. However, most of Bawean vocabulary are from Madurese. In its distribution to surroundings areas, Madurese is a language that is not easy to change its grammar. Even, it tends to influence the native local language of the people, as the Pandalungan Javanese that is used by the people in the north coast areas of East Java. There, the Grammar of Madurese influences much the Javanese, that is the native language of Javanese people. In other case, it occurs differently in Bawean language. Here, the language that most of the vocabulary comes from Madurese is influenced by the Javanese grammar. It makes the Bawean language different from the Madurese. By doing qualitative descriptive study that compares the significant grammar features of Madurese and Javanese that influence Bawean language, this study is conducted. The data are collected by using observation and interview method. Then, they are analyzed by the identity methods. The study finds that the Madurese Bawean is different from the native Madurese in terms of reduplication and affixation. Although most of the Bawean vocabulary come from Madurese, not all of the Madurese reduplication and affixation Javanese involve the Bawean ones. The Javanese also takes important part in the grammar of Bawean Madurese.

Abstract

The Friday sermon in terms of legal terminology is (the sermon delivered on the pulpits on Friday with the intention of encouraging people to do good, encouraging them to do it, distracting them from evil and its motives, and making them aware of their conditions and the reality of their affairs, as required by the law. In this research, the researcher presented an important matter, which is the method of expressing the present tense verb in the Friday sermon of Sheikh Abdul Majeed bin Abdul Hamid, and the research method of this research is some of the types of library research. types of books. After the researcher looked at the Friday sermon, he found twenty-two in it, which consisted of 8 present tense parsing with a pronounced vowel, and from 1 parsing of the present tense with a vowel estimated in a thousand, and from 1 parsing of the present tense with a vowel estimated by wu, and from 10 parsing of the present tense verb with a vowel, And from 1 the parsing of the present verb is compounded by the sukoon estimated by a thousand, and from 1 the expression of the present tense verb is compounded by the sukoon estimated by ya. And from 2 the articulation of the present verb if it is called by a nominative plural pronoun, and from 1 the articulation of the present verb if it is called by a plural pronoun that is plural.

Abstract

The objectives of this research to find out the factors caused the students’ anxiety in speaking performance and to find out the students’ strategies to overcome the level of language anxiety in speaking performance. The research applied a qualitative descriptive as research method. It was conducted in UPT SMPN 13 Gresik. The data were gathered by questionaire, observations and interview. While, technique and data source triangulation were used to validate data. The results of this study indicate that not all levels of language anxiety are experienced by students.

Abstract

إن الأصل في المثل قائم على تشبيه شئ بشئ تشابه أو تماثل بينهما أو لوجود أكثر من عنصور تشابه. والأمثال إما أن يكون بسيطا أو ما يسمى باللأمثال المصرحة أي المشتمل على تمثيل مفرد بالمفرد و إما أن يكون مركبا أو ما يسمى بالأمثال الكامنة أي هي التي تقدم على شكل لوحة تصور أكثر من مفرد، ووجه تشبيه فيه لا يكون مأخوذا من مفرد بعينه، بل يكون مأخوذا منه ومن غيره أو من الصورة العامة. وضرب الأمثال في القرآن يستفاد منه بعض الأمور وهي: التذكير، والوعظ، والحث، والزجر، والإعتبار، والتقرير، وترتيب المراد للعقل، وتصريره في صورة المحسوس بحيث نسبته للفعل كنسبة المحسوس إلى الحس. وتأتي الأمثال في القرآن مشتملة على بيان تفاوت الأجر وعلى تحقيق أمر وإبطال أمر. وتتكون في السور المكية من 91 مثلا مصرحا. وهذه الأمثال المصرحة تنتشر في 33 سورة، وسورة إبراهيم هي أعلى الدرجات في عدد تكرار الأمثال المصرحة من جميع السور المكية. و تأتي ترجمة الأمثال المصرحة في السور المكية عند هيئة الترجمة من وزارة الشئون الدينية بمعنى: (1) النظير أو المقارنة، و(2) المثال أو النمودج، و(3) تشبيه شيئ بشيئ.
