TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya
TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is a peer-reviewed scientific open access journal, with e-ISSN 2549-5941 and p-ISSN 2549-5971 It has been published by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Tidar. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through initial review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewer (Mitra Bestari) and will go to the next selection by the double-blind review process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In each manuscript, peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by editors according to reviewers comments. Peer reviewer that collaboration with Transformatika: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is the experts in the linguistics, literature, and their teaching area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal management and publication that was spread around the nation and abroad. TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is issued quarterly: in March, June, September, and December. TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya features research novelties and significance for scientific advancement in one of the fields of the published manuscripts. This journal welcomes submissions from around the world as well as from Indonesia. Manuscripts published including. Linguistics; phonology, morphology, syntax, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and critical discourse analysis. Literature: local literature studies, Indonesian literature, foreign literature studies, children literature, literature studies for character education, and other literary studies. Indonesian Language and Literature: curriculum development, learning methods, learning materials, learning media, assessment, Indonesian language learning across curricula, information and communications technology in Indonesian language learning, language skills, and other Indonesian language learning analyses. This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in listening to observation reports about certain cultural objects presented in video form. Based on the phenomena that occur, students are less critical in thinking and tend to look for shortcuts in critical thinking. The shortcut in question is that students prefer to describe the objects they observe according to the results of their research on online sites, so that the content and results of listening can be said to be different. The formulation of the problem in this research is how students' critical thinking capacity is when listening to videos. Learning is carried out using interactive media. The interactive media used is the wordwall application. The method used was classroom action research which lasted 2 cycles. This research began by testing the initial conditions, namely students' critical thinking abilities based on the results of watching videos. In cycle I it is related to the results of work in the listening process. The sample used was 36 students in class The research results obtained were that classical completion in the initial condition test of students' critical thinking ability only reached 11.11%, in cycle I critical thinking ability was 30.55% and in cycle II critical thinking ability was 80.55. Thus, classroom action research to improve students' critical thinking skills in listening using wordwall learning media was declared successful.

Memory receives various influences from the social background, starting from the surrounding community where the individual lives. Interactions between individuals, including with the community, foster memory. This shows that remembering requires a social context to materialize. One manifestation of memory is from individual trauma or collective trauma in a society. The source of memory is rooted in the collective material of human social products. Then, the memory develops and creates a correlation between people in society. One of the collective memories that prevails in Indonesia is the memory related to the struggle for independence. Society has a memory of the memories that occurred since the Dutch colonial era in Indonesia. This collective memory then becomes very interesting if explored with a theory that can see how unbroken the chain of memory in society is. The researcher then conducted research related to memory trauma in a collection of short stories by Iksaka Banu entitled “Semua Untuk Hindia” to see how the story responded to the traumas that occurred. This research uses informal data from a short story written by Iksaka Banu that tells a fictional story with a historical background, especially nostalgia for the colonial period. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which uses research and produces descriptive data in the form of written words such as dialog and sentences contained in novel. The qualitative method used is a descriptive method by presenting data as evidence that the author expresses collective memory in a novel. The results found that the author indirectly describes collective memory in the form of interrelated events during the Dutch colonization period.

This study examines the process of translating song lyrics from Javanese to Indonesian, focusing on the translation techniques used by Mad Lyric, a popular YouTube channel known for its song translations. The increasing popularity of Javanese songs plays a significant role in preserving cultural heritage, but translating song lyrics poses challenges in maintaining the authenticity of meaning and linguistic style. The aim of this study is to identify the translation techniques applied by Mad Lyric and to understand how they preserve meaning and style in the translated lyrics. A descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis was used, focusing on the lyrics translated by Mad Lyric on their YouTube channel. The data were analyzed based on translation techniques, such as literal translation, reduction, amplification, and modulation. The results show that Mad Lyric prioritizes maintaining the original message while adapting it into a more natural and easily understandable style in Indonesian. Modulation and amplification techniques were more dominant in preserving the original nuance of the lyrics while adjusting expressions to the target language. These findings highlight the importance of understa nding cultural and linguistic contexts in music translation, which ultimately enhances the quality of interlanguage translation while preserving the essence of the original message.

The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of inferiority and superiority found in the novel Selena by Tere Liye. The benefits of this study are to increase knowledge about literary science, especially in the field of literary psychology research. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The data used in this study are sentences, quotes, or excerpts that show conformity with Alfred Adler's Inferiority and Superiority theory. The data collection techniques used in this study are library techniques, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. Then the data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles and Huberman analysis technique which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions from the data obtained. The results of this study indicate the existence of forms of inferiority in the form of timidity, hesitance, insecurity, cowardice, and submissive obedience. Meanwhile, the form of superiority contained in the Selena novel by Tere Liye is in the form of the final goal that the main character wants to achieve, namely to become a student at the High Shadow Academy (ABTT) and to be able to defend himself to become a student at the High Shadow Academy (ABTT), then the strength of struggle as a form of compensation manifested in the form of courage, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and opposition. And the struggle that is carried out is to achieve personal superiority.

Conflict is a social process between two or more people who have their own interests and goals. Where one party tries to get rid of the other party by destroying it. Social conflict is a dispute or dispute that often occurs in society and has a perception of differences in interests or beliefs. Every individual definitely has their own goals and interests so that social conflict is an inevitable part of society. In studying and analyzing social conflict in literary works, another science is needed, namely literary sociology. This research aims to describe the motif of social conflict contained in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S Chudori. In analyzing the novel Laut Bercerita, the research used is literary sociology. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The qualitative descriptive method produces data in the form of words in the form of quotationsas problem solving. Reading comprehension is an essential skill that students must master in learning activities, particularly in Indonesian language learning. Good reading comprehension skills enable students to grasp key information, understand text structure, and summarize presented material. This research aims to determine the effect of the Quantum Reading method on the reading comprehension skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Islam Nurul Karomah in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employs a quantitative experimental method using a One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. This design involves two tests: pretest and posttest. The pretest assesses students' initial abilities, followed by treatment using the Quantum Reading method. Subsequently, a posttest is conducted to evaluate the learning outcomes after the treatment. The research findings indicate an improvement in students' reading comprehension skills after the application of the Quantum Reading method. The initial observation through the pretest shows an average student score of 63,86 categorized as sufficient. However, after the treatment and posttest, the average score significantly increased to 86,36 categorized as good. This result is supported by the t-test analysis, which shows a t-value of 27,27 greater than the t-table value of 1,720 at a 0,05significance level. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. This proves that the Quantum Reading method significantly influences the improvement of reading comprehension skills in news texts among eighth-grade students at SMP Islam Nurul Karomah in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Listening skills are basic skills that are important in language learning, but are often underdeveloped due to uninteresting learning methods. In the context of learning Indonesian, especially in listening to fable texts, students often have difficulty understanding the contents of the text in depth. This phenomenon can be caused by low student involvement due to the use of monotonous learning methods and the lack of utilization of technology or media that are relevant to the needs of today's students. Therefore, an innovative approach is needed to increase students' interest and ability in listening. This study focuses on analyzing the extent to which the Omaggio strategy supported by animated video media can provide a significant impact on improving the ability to listen to fable texts in class X students. The purpose of this study was to test the effect of the Omaggio strategy with the help of animated video media on the ability to listen to fable texts of class X students of SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Sukabumi. This study uses a quantitative method in the form of an experiment with a true experimental design involving an experimental group that applies the Omaggio strategy and a control group whose learning uses conventional learning methods. The posttest results showed an average value of the control class of 77.78 with a total score of 2,100, while the experimental class achieved an average value of 84.4 with a total score of 2,280. The t-test showed a significant value (p <0.05), with the calculation results of t_count> t_table, which proves that the Omaggio strategy significantly improves students' listening skills. The difference in total value of 180 and the difference in average value of 6.62 indicate that the Omaggio strategy has a positive influence on the listening skills of fable texts of class X students of SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Sukabumi in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Pır Le Maker application on student learning outcomes in listening to news text material in class XI. This study uses a pre-experimental design method, one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used by the researcher is purposive sampling. The number of samples used is 30 students. Data collection techniques using interviews, tests, documentation, Data analysis techniques for this study: validity test, reliability test, normality test and paired sample t-test. The research instrument is an essay test of 20 questions. Based on the results of the study and data analysis, the ability to listen to news texts of students in class XI before using the puzzle maker media or pretest has an average of 67.86 Then after using the puzzle maker media or posttest there is an increase with an average of 83.23 Based on the paired sample test 1 test shows a sig value level (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 with the results of the hypothesis Ho rejected and H, accepted. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the puzzle maker application has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in listening to news text material. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for teachers and curriculum developers in integrating interactive and interesting learning technology in the learning process.

Fusheng Liu Ji ‘Six Records of a Floating Life’ is the autobiographical prose composed by an intellectual Shen Fu in the High Qing era, which chronicles his impoverished life featured by both sorrow and exaltation. A substantial portion of the work concerns Shen’s wife named Yun, who is adulated as one of the most meritorious women in Chinese literature by an illustrious writer and translator Lin Yutang. From a pre-modern perspective, in her postnuptial life, Yun complies with the Confucian teachings prescribing women’s conduct, virtue and demeanour, viz. ‘Three Obediences and Four Virtues’; additionally, Yun exhibits filial piety which is also a preponderant creed in imperial China. From a modern perspective, Yun demonstrates proto-feminist thinking and sentimentality that defy orthodox institutions, embodied by her courageous cross-dressing and harmonious matrimonial relationship enriched by profound emotional devotion and physical intimacy. Furthermore, Yun is equipped with intelligence, generosity, romantic spirit and artistic temperament, and is hence eulogised by her husband for possessing a mentality and merits like a man, which, I posit, is the ultimate accolade in a patriarchal context.

This study examines the use of euphemisms and dysphethes in crime news in Tempo.co and Merdeka.com online media, focusing on their impact on readers' perceptions. The question asked is how these two linguistic strategies affect the delivery of information and audience reactions. The purpose of this study is to identify the forms of euphemism and dysphemism used and evaluate their relevance in learning news texts. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through news documentation from both media. The sample consisted of crime news containing euphemisms and dysphemisms, and data analysis was carried out using the content analysis method. The results showed that Tempo.co used euphemisms more to maintain neutrality and professionalism, while Merdeka.com tended to use dysphemism to create dramatic and attention-grabbing effects. These findings indicate that the choice of language style not only creates the atmosphere of the news, but also shapes the emotional response of readers. This research is expected to provide new insights in understanding the dynamics of language use in mass media and enrich teaching materials in Indonesian language learning. The results of the research can be generalized in linguistic studies and make a significant contribution to ethical journalistic practice.
