Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership Style and the Big Five Personality traits on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among Civil Servants (ASN) in the Health Department, the Population and Civil Registration Department, and the National Population and Family Planning Agency in Mataram City and West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The Transformational Leadership Style is measured using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) Form 5X, which encompasses four main dimensions: idealized influence/charisma, individualized consideration, inspirational motivation, and intellectual stimulation. Meanwhile, the Big Five Personality traits include Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. The study sample consists of 233 respondents selected based on Isaac and Michael's sample size determination table, with a 5% error level. Data is analyzed using multiple regression to determine the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results show that Transformational Leadership Style, Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness significantly influence OCB, whereas Neuroticism does not have a significant influence. Overall, Transformational Leadership Style and the Big Five Personality traits collectively have a significant influence on OCB. This study provides important contributions to the understanding of factors influencing OCB in the public sector, particularly within the context of the NTB Provincial Government. The managerial implications of these findings include the importance of developing supportive leadership styles and nurturing certain personality traits to encourage voluntary behaviors beneficial to the organization. Further research could explore other potential factors influencing OCB in the ASN work environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has introduced new challenges for religious practices, particularly in maintaining spiritual depth and church authority amidst virtual interactions. Churches and Christians face difficulties in maintaining the authenticity of faith in the digital world, where access to spiritual services and religious teachings is increasingly convenient but often diminishes the quality of spiritual engagement and interpersonal relationships within the congregation. This article aims to explore how Christian faith adapts in the transition from physical traditions to digital transmission in the cyber world. The focus is on understanding the impact of digitalization on worship, teaching, and Christian fellowship, as well as how churches can leverage technological opportunities without compromising the essence of faith. The research employs a qualitative approach using phenomenological methods to explore the subjective experiences of church leaders and congregations regarding the use of digital platforms in religious life. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of digital religious practices, such as online worship and teachings via social media. The findings show that while digitalization allows broader access to Christian teachings, there is a risk of diminishing spiritual depth and fragmenting interpersonal relationships within the congregation. The article offers practical strategies for churches to integrate technology wisely, maintaining a balance between digital innovation and the preservation of traditional spiritual values.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of office relocation on employee productivity, focusing on the case of relocating a company’s office from Cirebon to Lombok. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, this study employs literature review and library research to examine how such relocations influence productivity levels. The research reviews relevant literature on office relocation, employee adaptation, and productivity metrics. It also analyzes the potential challenges and benefits that arise during the transition, including changes in the work environment, employee morale, and adjustment to new cultural and geographical contexts. Key findings suggest that the relocation process can have both positive and negative effects on productivity, depending on factors such as employee support, adaptation programs, and the suitability of the new location. The study highlights the importance of effective communication and strategic planning in minimizing disruptions and fostering a smooth transition. Furthermore, the analysis reveals that well-managed relocation processes can improve job satisfaction and motivation, leading to enhanced productivity. However, without adequate support, relocations may result in reduced morale and performance due to adjustment difficulties. The study provides recommendations for companies considering relocation to ensure that productivity is sustained or even improved throughout the process. The insights gained from this research can assist organizations in making informed decisions about office relocation and developing strategies to support their employees during such transitions.
