Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) initiated by the Education Standards, Curriculum, and Assessment Agency (BSKAP) issued a policy called "Literature Enters the Curriculum". However, not long after this program was issued, several pros and cons have emerged regarding this policy, one of which is the use of the novel Cantik Itu Luka as a learning material in high school. This study will describe how the use of the novel Cantik Itu Luka as a learning material uses Grounded Theory from Strauss & Cobin and describes its advantages and disadvantages. In collecting data, this study used a reading and note-taking technique with an instrument in the form of a data table as an aid. The use of the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan as a teaching material can be done with a comprehensive approach, utilizing major themes to teach various concepts in the fields of literature, history, psychology, social, and gender. The novel Cantik itu Luka as a teaching material has advantages, namely: The story is deep and complex, there is unique realism and magic, raises relevant social issues, character and moral value approaches, and can be used as multidisciplinary and critical material. In addition to its advantages, this novel also has disadvantages, including: Heavy, controversial and challenging language and content, a long story and complex plot, limitations in developing reader focus, and a lack of positive representation in female characters.

Abstract

The implementation of a digital curriculum in remote areas faces various challenges, particularly regarding resources. Teachers, as the front line of education, encounter difficulties such as limited technological infrastructure, lack of training, and restricted access to devices and internet networks. This study aims to identify the main obstacles teachers face in implementing the digital curriculum in remote areas and propose potential solutions to overcome these challenges. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes teachers' experiences through interviews and case studies. The findings indicate that a lack of technical support, financial resources, and supportive policies are the primary barriers to digital curriculum implementation. Therefore, interventions from various stakeholders, including the government and educational institutions, are necessary to enhance infrastructure readiness and teachers' competencies to ensure the successful implementation of the digital curriculum in remote areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inventory accounting system implemented at CV. Bangunan Jaya Sentosa and identify the challenges faced in inventory management. The research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the inventory management system at CV. Bangunan Jaya Sentosa has not been effectively implemented. Warehouse recording processes lack thorough physical verification, resulting in discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Additionally, poor coordination between the warehouse, administration, and sales departments leads to inventory report inconsistencies, affecting the accuracy of the company's financial statements. CV. Bangunan Jaya Sentosa applies a perpetual recording system and uses the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for inventory valuation. However, warehouse records are still maintained manually, while the administration and sales departments use a computerized system. This imbalance causes recording errors and hampers inventory management efficiency. Therefore, it is recommended that the company integrate an accounting information system across departments to enable real-time inventory monitoring and improve data accuracy. Additionally, enhanced supervision and training for warehouse staff are necessary to minimize inventory recording errors. With an improved system and stricter internal controls, CV. Bangunan Jaya Sentosa can enhance operational efficiency and produce more accurate and reliable financial reports.

Abstract

Quality education is a key factor in enhancing a nation's competitiveness in the era of globalization. Along with the development of time, digitalization in education has become an urgent necessity to improve the effectiveness of learning and school management. School-Based Management (SBM) and transformational leadership are two main factors in improving education quality; however, their effectiveness in addressing the challenges of the digital era remains a subject of debate. This study aims to analyze the influence of School-Based Management (SBM) and Transformational Leadership through Digital Transformation on Education Quality at SMP IBS Cirebon. The research method used is quantitative with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach to examine the relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that SBM and transformational leadership (p-value = 0.016) significantly affect education quality (p-value = 0.019). However, both SBM (p-value = 0.000) and transformational leadership (p-value = 0.002) were found to have a significant impact on digital transformation. Furthermore, digital transformation significantly influences education quality (p-value = 0.000) and also acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between SBM and transformational leadership with education quality. The findings of this study confirm that digital transformation plays a crucial role in enhancing education quality in the modern era. Therefore, schools need to optimize digitalization in management and learning to achieve better education quality.
