Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of human resource development (HR) and job satisfaction on employee performance at PVH Venlo, the Netherlands. The research method used was a questionnaire survey distributed to 90 PVH Venlo employees. The data was then analyzed using structural equation modeling with partial least squares. SEM was chosen because it is more accurate in processing data, not only to obtain causality between variables and constructs but also to determine the magnitude of the relationship between variables and constructs. The research results show that HR development has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Apart from that, job satisfaction was also found to have a significant influence on employee performance. The combination of an effective HR development program and a high level of job satisfaction contributes significantly to improving employee performance at PVH Venlo. These findings underscore the importance of investing in human resource development and increasing job satisfaction as key strategies for improving organizational performance. This research provides practical implications for PVH Venlo management to continue optimizing HR development programs and creating a work environment that supports employee satisfaction.

Abstract

Employees are the most important asset in a company. Without employees, all of the company's operational activities would cease. Employees need motivation, a supportive work environment, and tasks that allow them to demonstrate their abilities, thereby enabling them to provide their best performance to the company. Employee motivation and performance are two interrelated factors. The more motivation an employee has—whether it is to work, earn money, or support their family—the better their performance at work. This research aims to determine the influence of motivation and the work environment on company employee performance. The method used in this research is a Systematic Literature Review, where motivation and the work environment are the independent variables (x), and performance is the dependent variable (y). All articles referenced in this journal are sourced from Science Direct and Google Scholar, published in the last five years. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is an influence between motivation and the work environment on employee performance. With motivation, employees will feel more active and enthusiastic, and a positive work environment will further enhance employee performance, ultimately leading to improved company performance.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to identify and examine how service quality impacts customer satisfaction. To understand and analyze the relationship between trust and customer satisfaction. To explore and analyze the simultaneous and partial impact of service quality and customer satisfaction guarantees. A quantitative research approach was applied in this kind of research. The recorded review approach used a sample of 115 participants. According to the evaluation findings, customer satisfaction is positively and significantly influenced by service quality (X1), as evidenced by a t-calculated score greater than the t-table score (4.196 > 1.981) and a significance level below 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Additionally, customer satisfaction regarding the F-test value is influenced by both service quality and trust, determined by an F-table score greater than the F-calculated score (165.263 > 3.08) and a significance level of F below 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). The adjusted R-square score of 0.742, also known as the coefficient of determination (R2), indicates that the total contribution of all X variables, namely trust and service quality, to the Y variable, which is customer satisfaction, is 74.2%. The remaining 25.8% is attributed to other factors not covered in this research.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of financial technology variables and service features on consumer choices when selecting digital wallets for financial transactions, utilizing a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out through the use of questionnaires. The research population consisted of FIA students from the class of 2020 at UNISMA who are users of the OVO application. The results of the study reveal that consumer preferences (Y) are affected by financial technology variables (X1) and service features (X2). The F test results support the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and reject the null hypothesis (Ho), indicating that the independent variables have an influence on the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination shows an R square value of 0.299, suggesting that financial technology (X1) and service features (X2) collectively contribute to consumer preferences (Y) by 29.9%. Other variables not examined in this study account for 70.1% of the influence.

Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 23, involving validity and reliability testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and classical hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that: (1) Price positively influences purchasing decisions (t-value 2.928 > t-table 1.668, p ≤ 0.05). (2) Service quality significantly impacts variable Y, with a t-value of 4.078 > t-table 1.668, p ≤ 0.05. (3) Promotion also has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions (estimated t-value 1.994 > t-table 1.668, p ≤ 0.05).
