Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of workload and social support on employee performance with burnout as a mediating variable. The study adopts a quantitative approach within a positivistic paradigm. Primary data were collected from 200 respondents using simple random sampling. Data analysis employed Partial Least Square (PLS) with tests for validity, reliability, multicollinearity, and structural model evaluation. The results indicate that workload does not significantly impact employee performance directly but contributes significantly to burnout. Burnout negatively affects employee performance and acts as a significant mediator between workload and performance. Conversely, social support positively influences performance and reduces the risk of burnout. Therefore, organizations need to manage workloads and provide adequate social support to create a healthier work environment and sustainably enhance employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and celebrity endorsers on the purchase decision of Skintific skincare, with purchase intention as an intervening variable. The research employs a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The respondents consisted of 115 students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta who have used or purchased Skintific products. The results show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, with purchase intention as an intervening variable, while celebrity endorsers have a positive but not significant effect on purchase decisions, with purchase intention as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect or effectiveness of Corporate Risk Management on the financial performance and value of the company : Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CSR). The population of this study is manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This research sample uses data collection this research uses secondary data information obtained from 162 environmentally sensitive companies in Indonesia that publish financial reports and sustainability reports for the period 2022 and 2023. The results of this study showed that ERM / risk management has a positive influence on the value of the company, the company's Environmental Responsibility has a positive influence on the value of the company, environmental responsibility managed to moderate the positive influence of risk management on the value of the company. This study has a contribution in identifying the influence of risk management as an independent variable on the financial performance and value of the company which is assisted by the variable moderation of corporate environmental responsibility (TJL).

Abstract

Sales growth is one of the indicators of a company's performance, as sales serve as a primary source of corporate revenue. Higher stability in sales generated by a company positively influences its sustainability. This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), innovation, and Green Investment on sales growth in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The research employs a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consists of 119 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2023 period. The results reveal that CSR, innovation, and Green Investment significantly affect sales growth. The CSR and innovation variables exhibit a positive and significant impact, while Green Investment shows no effect and is not significant. These findings indicate that companies implementing CSR and innovation strategies can enhance sales growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the size, dual positions, educational qualifications, and education level of the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) on the disclosure of Sharia governance in Sharia commercial banks (BUS) during the period 2014-2023. The population in this study is Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. While the sample in this study was determined using purposive sampling technique. data collection techniques using documentation using secondary data in the form of annual reports of Islamic commercial banks in 2014-2023. This test data analysis consists of classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. This study contribute to the development of Sharia governance and this study is also expected to increase understanding of the role of Sharia Supervisory Boards (DPS) in ensuring compliance with principles in Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

Coffee shops in the city of Medan have not fully carried out Halal Self Declare, even though the halal product guarantee as regulated in the JPH Law stipulates halal self declare obligations for MSMEs in accordance with the regulations stipulated by the JPH Law in article 4, namely the obligation to be halal certified for products circulating and traded in the area. Indonesia is valid for 5 (five) years starting when the law comes into force. This research aims to explain and analyze legal awareness regarding the obligation to self-declare halal coffee products for coffee shops as MSMEs in Medan City. This Halal Self Declare Obligation aims to avoid halal uncertainty and misleading information for consumers. This research uses empirical juridical research methods, namely related to juridical matters and facts regarding the Halal Self Declare obligation for coffee products at coffee shops in Medan Pancing. The research results show that based on the author's observations of several coffee shops in Medan Pancing, there are 8 coffee shops that do not have a halal certificate and claim that their products are halal without any legality. In general, business actors do not know the procedures in the Self Declare scheme, but coffee shops are expected to comply with regulations and the government's role in providing direction for the implementation of Self Declare product halal certificates for MSMEs in Medan Pancing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of Work- Life Balance (WLB) affects employee performance at KPP Pratama Singosari. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research The data collection method is carried out using interviews and observations. Analysis The data is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The validity test of the data was carried out using the triangulation method. The results of interviews with four informants showed that the implementation of the WLB policy had a significant impact on employee productivity and welfare. However, challenges such as high workloads, frequently changing work schedules, and tight deadlines are still obstacles in maintaining this balance. Policies such as flexibility in working hours, overtime compensation, and open discussions between employers and employees have been proven to help reduce work pressure. This study concludes that the effective implementation of WLB's Work-Life Balance can improve employee performance, but needs to be strengthened by improved work schedule management, better communication, and welfare program support. The advice provided includes increasing work flexibility, schedule stability, and providing facilities that support the balance between work and personal life of employees. Abstract

The business and trade world continues to experience growth and development. One of the industrial sectors that continues to experience development, especially in Indonesia, is the fashion industry, which is an industry that is growing and continuing to increase. In order to maintain the sustainability of its business, companies are faced with the creation of a strategy that is able to face competitive competition. This study aims to determine the effect of branding strategy on purchasing interest with brand preference as a moderation. The sampling technique in quantitative research is carried out randomly, data collection using research instruments, statistical data analysis with the aim of testing the established hypothesis. The results of this study found that branding strategy has an effect on purchasing interest. And brand preference as a moderating variable is able to moderate branding strategy on purchasing interest

Abstract

Technological developments are currently experiencing very rapid progress, including in the fields of economics and marketing. The internet is an information mechanism that provides advice or facilities to obtain important data that is needed. Advances in the field of information and communication innovation, the world feels like there are no more boundaries, distance, and time. This study aims to determine digital literacy as a moderation of the influence of digital marketing and lifestyle on purchasing decisions in online marketplaces. The current analysis uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study are consumers who have shopped online. Samples were taken from this population, and the selection of this research sample was determined by random sampling to produce a sample of 150 respondents. Based on the results of the analysis, the results of this study found that digital marketing and lifestyle influence purchasing decisions in online marketplaces. Digital literacy is able to moderate digital marketing and lifestyle on purchasing decisions in online marketplaces.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of blockchain technology on traditional business models: potential and challenges. Through quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, observations and written notes. Then analyzed using statistical methods. Descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis methods. The findings in this study are that blockchain technology has significant potential and benefits for traditional businesses, including increasing operational efficiency, data security, transparency and accountability, and reducing operational costs. However, the implementation of blockchain technology is highly dependent on the ability of traditional businesses to overcome several challenges such as regulatory compliance challenges, acceptance and adaptation, smart contract implementation, and interoperability.
