Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality on WOM through satisfaction and trust at Balad Medical Center Clinic. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, with a sample of 200 patients. The analysis used PLS-SEM analysis with Smart-PLS 4.0. The results showed service quality, patient satisfaction, and trust significantly influenced WOM. Service quality significantly influenced patient satisfaction and trust. Patient satisfaction and trust mediated the relationship between service quality and WOM. Balad Clinic needs to improve service quality to increase patient satisfaction and trust, thus creating positive WOM. Therefore, the study results are expected to enrich the literature and provide practical recommendations for clinic in improving service quality, satisfaction, trust, and WOM.

Abstract

This study examines transnational economic crimes as increasingly complex cross-border offenses in the era of globalization, focusing on money laundering, international corruption, and the illegal trade of natural resources. These crimes not only harm the national economy through loss of foreign exchange and market distortion but also threaten social stability, undermine public trust, and weaken law enforcement. Indonesia has established a legal framework through Law No. 8 of 2010 on the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering, Law No. 20 of 2001 on the Eradication of Corruption, and Law No. 4 of 2009 on Mineral and Coal Mining, while actively participating in international cooperation such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC). Using Roscoe Pound’s “Law as a Tool for Social Engineering” theory, this research highlights the importance of integrating the flexibility of the Anglo-Saxon legal system with the strong regulatory framework of the Continental system. The findings emphasize the need to strengthen coordination among law enforcement agencies, enhance forensic investigation technologies, harmonize regulations with international standards, and implement legal measures that incorporate social justice and local wisdom to ensure effective and sustainable crime prevention.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berlakunya Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja terhadap dampaknya pada sektor hubungan industrial serta Implikasi Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Republik Indonesia Nomor 168/PUU-XXI/2023 Atas Pengujian Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2023 tentang Cipta Kerja, penelitian ini mengurai bentuk perlindungan hukum dalam pemenuhan hak-hak pekerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian normatif yaitu penelitian yang objek kajian utamanya adalah dokumen peraturan perundang-undangan dan bahan pustaka. Dampak undang-undang cipta kerja terhadap pemutusan hubungan kerja atas efesiensi perusahaan terdapat peruabahan antar Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2023 tentang Cipta Kerja dalam hal akibat pemutusan hubungan kerja oleh perusahaan maka pengusaha wajib memberikan pesangon, penghargaan masa kerja dan penggantian hak. Terhadap efesiensi bertujuan mencegah terjadinya kerugian atau perusahaan mengalalami kerugian perusahaan. Namun disisi lain hak-hak pekerja yang di PHK dengan alasan perusahaan efesiensi tentu mengalami perubahan dan kurangnya ketentuan perhitungan pesangon yang hanya menyisakan 0,5 Ketrentuan. Dalam mencegah terjadinya pemutusan hubuungan kerja maka terlebih dahulu dilakukan dialog agar nyetakukan persepsi terhadap rencana efesiensi sebagaimana bahwa pengusaha mengupayakan agar tidak terjadi PHK. Pemutusan hubungan kerja adalah langkah terakhir yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha apabila tidak tercapai kesepakatan dalam dialog anatara Pekerja, Serikat Buruh dan Pengusaha.

Abstract

The manufacturing sector in Indonesia plays a vital role in the economy, and one of the critical aspects of enhancing productivity is minimizing machine downtime. PT. Sinar Indo Green Kencana (SIGK) is a building materials manufacturing company facing challenges in the efficiency of its mixer machine, with an Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value of only 77.5%. This study utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor machine conditions in real-time and assess machine effectiveness using the OEE method. The research aims to identify the primary causes of downtime and develop predictive maintenance strategies to reduce losses due to machine failures. The findings reveal that high downtime is caused by unexpected breakdowns, lengthy setup times, and a lack of real-time monitoring. Therefore, using IoT to monitor downtime and OEE is crucial for improving machine efficiency and maintaining product quality. The research provides improvement recommendations that can be applied to enhance production effectiveness and minimize losses due to machine downtime.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of interpersonal communication and professional competence on employee performance among field officers (Mitra Lapangan Statistik) at BPS Kabupaten Cirebon. Methodology: A quantitative survey was conducted with 91 field officers selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires measuring Interpersonal Communication (X₁), Professional Competence (X₂), and Employee Performance (Y). Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to test hypotheses. Results: Both interpersonal communication and professional competence had significant positive effects on employee performance: This is among the first studies focusing specifically on non-ASN Mitra Lapangan Statistik performance determinants in Kabupaten Cirebon. Originality: It integrates interpersonal and competence dimensions within a single regression model in a government-survey context.

Abstract

Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin (a hormone that regulates blood sugar or glucose), or when the body cannotl effectively use the insulin it produces. The purpose ofl this study is to identify the level ofl knowledge ofl Diabetes Mellitus patients in lowering blood sugar levels with physical activity. This study used quantitative research design using descriptive methods. The population of this study is patients who experience diabetes mellitus in November and December 2023 at Royal Prima Medan Hospital as many as 60 people. The sampling of this study is purposive sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 30 people. The results ofl this study were 30 respondents of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) where the results of respondents' knowledge were good as many as 20 people (66.7%), medium knowledge as many as 7 people (23.3%), and knowledge less as many as 3 people (10.0%). The results of this study show that most Diabetes Mellitus patients have a fairly good understanding of the relationship between physical activity and decreased blood sugar levels. This indicates that education about the benefits of physical activity in managing Diabetes Mellitus can make a positive contribution in increasing patient knowledge.

Abstract

Corruption committed by global corporations is a complex form of transnational economic crime with far-reaching impacts on a nation’s legal stability and economic integrity. This study aims to provide a juridical analysis of regulatory loopholes in Indonesian economic law exploited by foreign corporations to evade legal prosecution, while comparing them with international legal standards. The research employs a normative juridical method using statutory, comparative, and case study approaches. The findings reveal that the main weaknesses lie in the absence of extraterritorial jurisdiction, weak enforcement mechanisms against corporations, and the suboptimal application of the beneficial ownership principle. A comparison with the United States’ Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the United Kingdom’s Bribery Act, and the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention highlights the necessity for national legal reforms to effectively prosecute global corporate offenders. Recommendations include strengthening cross-border jurisdiction, updating provisions on foreign public official bribery, enforcing stricter corporate sanctions, and harmonizing with international legal instruments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Service Quality (X1) and Customer Experience (X2) on Purchasing Decisions (Y) case study at Ruang Teduh Coffee. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study is the number of visitors to Ruang Teduh Coffee for the period November 2024 to April 2025 with a population of 3,774 visitors. Determination of the number of samples taken as respondents in this study using the Slovin formula, the results of the calculation of sample data using the Slovin formula are 100 respondents. Sampling uses a non-probability sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression assisted by using IBM SPSS 22. The results of this study indicate that Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, Customer Experience has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, Service Quality and Customer Experience together have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the findings of four scholarly articles discussing the impact of green accounting on financial performance. The method used is a literature review with a content analysis approach, focusing on articles published between 2020 and 2024. Some studies found no significant impact between the implementation of green accounting and financial performance, while others showed a positive impact, particularly in the disclosure of environmental costs. These differing results are attributed to variations in measurement indicators and the industries studied. Nevertheless, the implementation of green accounting provides long-term benefits in improving a company's reputation and attracting investor attention. Therefore, companies are advised to prioritize the implementation of green accounting as part of their corporate social responsibility.

Abstract

Technological developments have had a significant impact on efforts to prevent and combat money laundering. In this context, it is necessary to harmonize Indonesia's Anti-Money Laundering legal system with the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force as part of global efforts to combat money laundering. This study aims to analyze the normative framework of Indonesia's anti-money laundering policies in implementing FATF Recommendations, with a focus on the effectiveness of regulations for preventing and combating money laundering. The research method used is a normative legal approach, incorporating regulatory, conceptual, and comparative perspectives. The results of the study indicate that Indonesia still needs to harmonize its national legal framework with the FATF Recommendations. Therefore, further efforts are needed in Indonesia to strengthen an effective legal framework for combating money laundering.
