Abstract

This study develops the strategic plan for the government section of Solok to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of regional government administration. The method employed is qualitative research based on literature review and analysis of official documents related to strategic planning and governmental governance. SWOT analysis is used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the governance section of Solok Regency. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening human resource capacity, refining work procedures, integrating information technology, and improving coordination among units and stakeholders as main strategic steps. The formulated strategic plan includes vision, mission, goals, targets, as well as priority programs and activities that support sustainable regional development. The recommendations aim to serve as a foundation for improving performance and governance of Solok Regency government in coping with the dynamics of governance and increasing demands for public service.

Abstract

Transnational economic crimes, such as money laundering, transnational corruption, and international financial fraud, have evolved with globalization and technological advancements. The complexity of these crimes requires strong international cooperation to effectively address them. Interpol, as an international police organization, plays a crucial role in facilitating collaboration between countries through information exchange, the issuance of red notices, and the coordination of cross-border operations. This study aims to analyze Interpol's role in addressing transnational economic crimes and review the international and regional criminal law approaches that underpin this collaboration. Through a literature review and a normative juridical approach, it is found that the effectiveness of collaboration depends on the harmonization of international legal instruments such as UNCAC and UNTOC, as well as the support of regional frameworks such as ASEANAPOL and EUROPOL. However, challenges remain, including differences in legal systems, confidentiality, and the potential for protection by Interpol mechanisms. Therefore, strengthening institutional capacity, trust between countries, and regulatory reform are needed to encourage more effective and equitable collaboration.

Abstract

Sigapiton Tourism Village is a tourist destination located in the Lake Toba area with the main attractions of natural beauty and authentic local culture. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of digital promotional media for Sigapiton Tourism Village through the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) model approach, and to analyze digital marketing strategies using SWOT analysis. The research used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and through SWOT mapping. The results of the study showed that the digital promotion carried out was quite effective in building attention, interest, desire, and some actions from the audience. Promotion strategies based on visual content, educational narratives, emotional approaches, and digital communication facilitation are the main strengths. Based on the SWOT analysis, the marketing strategy for Sigapiton Tourism Village is in Quadrant I (Strength-Opportunity), with an internal score of 0,02 and an external score of 0.20. This shows that the development of digital promotion can be directed at an aggressive strategy by utilizing internal strengths to maximize external opportunities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perlindungan hukum terhadap pekerja atas pemutusan hubungan kerja yang diduga melakukan tindak pidana dengan perjanjian kerja waktu tidak tertentu  serta langkah-langkah hukum yang dapat ditempuh oleh Pekerja jika terjadi Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK) oleh Pengusaha. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian normatif yaitu penelitian yang objek kajian utamanya adalah dokumen peraturan perundang-undangan dan bahan pustaka. Perlindungan hukum terhadap pekerja atas pemutusan hubungan kerja yang diduga melakukan tindak pidana dengan perjanjian kerja waktu tidak tertentu harus mengedepankan asas praduga tak bersalah dengan jalan tidak melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja sebelum ada putusan pengadilan yang telah berkekuatan hukum tetap (Inkrah) agar pekerja tersebut tidak kehilangan pekerjaan dan hak-hak lainnya berkaitan dengan itu. Terhadap langkah hukum yang dapat ditempuh apabila terjadi perselisihan hubungan industrial yakni terlebih dahulu melakukan perundingan bipartite namun apabila perundingan tersebut gagal maka pihak yang keberatan dapat mengajukan mediasi dengan jalan konsiliasi atau arbiter namun apabila mediasi tersebut juga gagal maka pihak yang keberatan dapat mengajukan gugatan pada pengadilan hubungan industrial.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have enabled the creation of more effective and personalized learning systems. This research aims to design and implement an adaptive e-learning system for Japanese language learning supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI). This system adjusts the material, difficulty level, and delivery method according to the user's abilities and learning progress. The AI techniques used include machine learning to analyze student performance, natural language processing (NLP) to transmit Japanese text and conversations, and a recommendation system to provide appropriate materials. The research results are expected to improve the effectiveness of Japanese language learning for beginners to intermediate levels.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of coworker support and organizational commitment on social loafing behavior, with turnover intention as a mediating variable, among employees of PT FBA. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 57 respondents selected using Slovin's formula from a total population of 57 employees. The research instrument was a questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that coworker support has no significant effect on turnover intention or social loafing behavior. In contrast, organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, while turnover intention has a positive and significant effect on social loafing behavior. Mediation analysis reveals that turnover intention does not mediate the relationship between coworker support and social loafing, but significantly mediates the effect of organizational commitment on social loafing. These findings support the Social Exchange Theory, which explains that positive reciprocal relationships strengthen commitment and reduce negative workplace behaviors. The implications of this study emphasize the importance for companies to enhance organizational commitment by reinforcing values, organizational culture, and career development opportunities as efforts to reduce turnover intention and social loafing among employees.

Abstract

Global mobility in the digital era has significantly transformed the landscape of immigration governance, reshaping both opportunities and challenges for national border control. Indonesia, as one of Southeast Asia’s major tourist and business hubs, has implemented a visa-free policy to stimulate economic growth, attract foreign visitors, and strengthen cultural exchanges. However, such policies have also created legal vulnerabilities, particularly the administrative violation of overstaying by foreign nationals. The persistent occurrence of overstay, as emphasized by Warren (2017), remains a global issue that demands strategic, technology-driven solutions. This research employs a normative legal approach (Marzuki, 2015) complemented by qualitative descriptive analysis (Moleong, 2011), focusing on the enforcement of Law No. 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. Data are drawn from primary legal sources, secondary literature, and relevant statistical reports, including those from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS, 2024) and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO, 2025). The findings highlight that advancements in artificial intelligence (AI)-based early warning systems, biometric verification, and integrated cross-border databases have enhanced the monitoring and detection of potential violations. Moreover, inter-agency cooperation and the implementation of the selective policy principle (Syahrin, 2018) have proven effective in balancing security concerns with economic interests. This study concludes that continuous innovation, coupled with strong legal enforcement and international collaboration, is essential for addressing the evolving patterns of human mobility in the digital age. The implications extend beyond Indonesia, offering valuable insights for other nations facing similar immigration law enforcement challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Service Quality and Brand Image on Repurchase Intention with Customer Satisfaction as an intervening variable at Katagonia Language Solutions. The background of this research reflects the intense competition in the language services industry, where retaining customers depends on service quality, a strong brand image, and customer satisfaction. The method used is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0. Data were collected from 200 respondents using purposive sampling. The results show that Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Repurchase Intention, but does not significantly affect Customer Satisfaction. Meanwhile, Brand Image was found to significantly affect both Customer Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention, and became a dominant factor in building customer loyalty. Customer Satisfaction also significantly affects Repurchase Intention, strengthening long-term customer relationships. Mediation analysis shows that Customer Satisfaction plays a significant role as a link between Brand Image and Repurchase Intention, but not between Service Quality and Repurchase Intention. These findings suggest that Katagonia should focus more on strengthening its brand image and creating a satisfying customer experience. This strategy is expected to increase customer loyalty and strengthen Katagonia’s position in the competitive language services market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and digital literacy on the sustainable performance of MSMEs, with risk perception as a mediating variable. The research background is based on the low levels of financial and digital literacy, which remain major obstacles to MSME development, particularly in Jakarta. The study employs a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The sample consists of 303 MSME actors selected through purposive sampling. The results reveal that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on sustainable performance, although it does not significantly influence risk perception. In contrast, digital literacy significantly affects both sustainable performance and risk perception. Furthermore, risk perception is found to have a positive and significant effect on sustainable performance. Mediation testing indicates that risk perception does not mediate the effect of financial literacy on sustainable performance but does mediate the relationship between digital literacy and sustainable performance. These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing digital literacy accompanied by risk awareness to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs in the era of digital transformation. This research contributes theoretically to the study of literacy and risk management and provides practical implications for MSMEs, policymakers, and supporting institutions in designing sustainable empowerment strategies.

Abstract

The rapid development of e-commerce in the fashion sector has intensified competition, making brand reputation, user experience (UX), and consumer trust strategic factors influencing online purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the impact of brand reputation and user experience on online purchasing decisions, with trust as a mediating variable for consumers of PT XYZ. The research adopts a quantitative design with a survey approach, involving 82 respondents who have made purchases at PT XYZ. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed with PLS-SEM. The results indicate that brand reputation significantly influences trust, but not directly the purchasing decision, while user experience significantly affects both trust and purchasing decisions. Trust was found to be an important mediating variable, with full mediation in the relationship between brand reputation and purchasing decisions and partial mediation in the relationship between user experience and purchasing decisions. This research provides implications for e-commerce management to focus on brand reputation and UX in building consumer trust.
