Abstract

This research endeavors to scrutinize the effects of a technology-driven way of life on how accounting students at Udayana University's Faculty of Economics and Business handle their finances during the academic period of 2024 to 2025. A quantitative research design is employed, utilizing survey questionnaires distributed to a sample group of 30 individuals. Simple linear regression was used to analyze the accumulated data. The outcomes demonstrate that a digital lifestyle has a noteworthy impact on how students manage their own money. A greater reliance on digital platforms like electronic wallets, online shopping sites, and social networking generally corresponds to a decline in their ability to manage personal finances effectively. It is anticipated that these observations will provide insights for learning institutions and students alike, with the goal of strengthening financial knowledge in this digital age.

Abstract

In the implementation of heavy equipment rental agreements, sometimes there are situations of negligence, namely one of the points above is not fulfilled. Likewise with the heavy equipment rental agreement between PT. VJM with PT. PGU, in implementing the Heavy Equipment Rental Agreement Number 11/PGU-VJM/X/2021, PT. PGU. In this agreement, the rights and obligations of each party involved have been agreed. At PT. VJM operates in the General Constriction and supplier sector. The company provides rental of one of the company's assets, namely heavy equipment. In implementing the heavy equipment rental agreement, PT. VJM uses the principle in the agreement, namely the principle of freedom in contracting. Which means that everyone has the right to get what they want. That in its implementation PT. VJM and PT. PGU uses a written rental agreement because it provides certainty regarding the rights and obligations of the parties making it. A rental agreement made in writing can help the proof process if there is a dispute between the parties who made it, then the rental agreement made in writing can end legally. According to the lessee, the heavy equipment rental agreement of PT. This VJM is not in accordance with the contents of the agreement because there are additional costs incurred by the tenant outside of those stated in the agreement. In the case of default in the implementation of the heavy equipment rental agreement between PT. VJM and PT. PGU, dispute resolution can be pursued through the courts or outside the courts based on the voluntary choice of the disputing parties. If an out-of-court dispute resolution effort is chosen, a lawsuit through the courts can only be pursued if the effort is declared unsuccessful by one or both disputing parties.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the urgency of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning strategies to foster student creativity in the digital era. SMK PGRI 11 Ciledug was selected as the study location due to the variety of strategies implemented there. The main objective is to analyze effective strategies, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine their impact on the development of religious character. Using a descriptive qualitative methodology with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation, the research findings indicate that the effective strategies are a combination of a contextual approach, Project-Based Learning (PjBL), digital technology integration, and collaborative methods. Further analysis reveals that both internal factors (teacher competency, technological literacy) and external factors (school support, facilities) significantly influence the success of these strategies. This affirms that holistic PAI planning plays a crucial role in enhancing student creativity and shaping their religious character.

Abstract

Futsal performance requires not only physical and technical skills but also strong psychological readiness, particularly in competitive situations. One of the key psychological factors influencing athletic performance is self-efficacy, defined as an individual’s belief in their ability to organize and execute actions necessary to achieve desired outcomes. This article aims to describe the implementation of psychoeducation as a psychological intervention to enhance self-efficacy among members of the “OR” Futsal Community in City S within a community service context. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a community-based service design, involving 10 core players aged 19–23 years and one coach as a key informant. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and self-efficacy pre-test and post-test measures. The assessment results indicated a significant decline in players’ self-efficacy during official competitions compared to training sessions, manifested through decision-making hesitation, emotional regulation difficulties, and weakened intragroup communication. The two-day psychoeducational intervention demonstrated positive outcomes, including increased self-efficacy, greater self-awareness, improved initiative-taking, and more supportive team communication. These findings suggest that self-efficacy psychoeducation is a relevant and effective approach to strengthening mental readiness and team performance in competitive futsal contexts.

Abstract

The regulation of alcoholic beverages in Indonesia reveals significant issues related to the harmonization of laws and regulations, particularly between the central government and local governments. Following the annulment of Presidential Decree Number 3 of 1997, the central government enacted Presidential Regulation Number 74 of 2013 on the Control and Supervision of Alcoholic Beverages, which adopts a permissive yet controlled regulatory approach. However, in practice, several local governments have enacted regulations with substantially different approaches, one of which is Sukabumi City Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2015 that imposes a total prohibition on alcoholic beverages. This divergence has resulted in vertical inconsistency, undermining the principle of the hierarchy of laws and regulations within the national legal system. This study aims to analyze the level of substantive inconsistency between Presidential Regulation Number 74 of 2013 and Sukabumi City Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2015, to examine the underlying factors contributing to the lack of vertical harmonization, and to assess the role of regional regulation evaluation mechanisms in minimizing normative conflicts. This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that the inconsistency between the two regulations is both substantive and structural, stemming from differing policy paradigms, weak implementation of the principles of good legislative drafting, and inadequate coordination between central and local governments. Therefore, optimizing both preventive and repressive evaluation mechanisms of regional regulations is essential to achieving vertical harmonization and maintaining the coherence of the national legal system.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of business ethics as the basis for implementing corporate social responsibility in companies in Indonesia, explain how it is applied in practice, and identify the challenges faced. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach. Data was obtained from various relevant written sources and analyzed using content analysis techniques through a process of theme grouping and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that business ethics serve as moral guidelines that direct companies in carrying out their social responsibilities in a responsible and sustainable manner. The application of business ethics encourages corporate social responsibility to not only be a formality, but to be integrated with business strategies and provide tangible benefits to society and the environment. However, the implementation of social responsibility based on business ethics still faces challenges, such as a low understanding of ethical values, limited resources, and a lack of consistency in its application.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of business ethics and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (Unilever Indonesia), evaluating their impact on reporting transparency, company performance, and stakeholder trust. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive case study based on documents (Annual Report, Sustainability Report, governance policies) enriched through triangulation with media coverage related to reputation issues for the 2024–2025 period. The results show that Unilever Indonesia has an established governance systems and code of ethics, as well as comprehensive ESG reporting practices, but faces reputational and market pressures (including the impact of geopolitical issues and adjustments to global sustainability targets) that challenge the implementation of ethics and public perception of ESG commitments. The study discusses academic and practical implications, and recommends steps to improve communication governance and strengthen operational integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of human resources (HR) in implementing branding strategies to strengthen the products of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The development of the digital era requires MSMEs to build strong and competitive brand identities. However, the success of branding is not solely determined by visual elements, but also by the competence, creativity, and digital literacy of the HR who manage the branding process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature study by reviewing eight relevant scientific journals related to HR, branding, digital marketing, and MSME innovation. The findings indicate that HR plays a strategic role in developing brand identity, managing digital content, fostering product innovation, and strengthening customer relationships, which collectively contribute to increased brand awareness and product competitiveness. Digital literacy among HR is proven to be a crucial factor in optimizing branding strategies on social media, while HR-driven innovation enhances product differentiation and brand value. This study concludes that the integration of HR competencies and branding strategies is essential for strengthening MSME products. Therefore, improving HR capabilities through training in branding and digital marketing is strongly recommended to support MSME sustainability.

Abstract

The National Identity Card (KTP), as a legal identity document, is a crucial instrument for data collection and distribution of social assistance (bansos) in Indonesia. The use of the KTP serves as the basis for verifying beneficiaries in accordance with population administration regulations. This study aims to analyze the legal basis for using the KTP in providing social assistance based on applicable laws and regulations, including the Population Administration Law, the Law on Handling the Poor, and regulations related to the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). The research method used is normative juridical, with a regulatory and contextual approach. The results indicate that the KTP is not the sole requirement for receiving social assistance, but it is a mandatory document to ensure the validity and accuracy of population data. The distribution of social assistance must refer to the DTKS and the National Identification Number (NIK) as the key to data integration.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Optimism, Academic Procrastination, Learning Motivation, Self-Efficacy, and Social Support on Academic Stress Levels in Surabaya City students using quantitative methods and a cross-sectional design. The research sample used was 53 respondents, selected using the Non-Probability Convenience Sampling technique. Respondents filled out a Google Form questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares–SEM in SmartPLS software with outer and inner model evaluation and bootstrapping procedures. The results of the hypothesis test showed only two significant direct relationships: Optimism had a positive and significant effect on Self-Efficacy (β = 0.306; p = 0.036), and Self-Efficacy had a positive and significant effect on Academic Stress Levels (β = 0.545; p = 0.008). Other hypotheses, including the direct effects of Academic Procrastination and Learning Motivation on Self-Efficacy and Academic Stress Levels, and the moderating role of Social Support, were not proven significant. Testing of the mediation path also did not find a significant indirect effect through Self-Efficacy. These findings suggest that interventions to reduce academic stress need to consider the context of academic demands and strengthen contextualized coping strategies; increased optimism can strengthen efficacy, but higher efficacy in this sample was associated with greater stress levels, necessitating a balanced approach between strengthening self-efficacy and managing academic workload.
