Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and social media has encouraged changes in marketing strategies within the culinary business sector, particularly through the use of the TikTok platform. One widely applied form of digital marketing is promotion through TikTok vouchers and the presentation of high-quality social media content to attract consumer interest. This study aims to analyze the effect of promotional strategies through TikTok vouchers and the quality of social media content on sales increase at Cafe Bagi Kopi Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative method. The population of this study consists of consumers of Cafe Bagi Kopi Pamulang who have made purchases through TikTok promotions, with a sample of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire, while data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²) using SPSS software. The results indicate that partially, promotional strategies through TikTok vouchers have a significant effect on sales increase, and the quality of social media content also has a significant effect on sales increase. Simultaneously, promotional strategies through TikTok vouchers and the quality of social media content have a significant influence on sales increase at Cafe Bagi Kopi Pamulang. These findings provide practical implications for culinary business owners to optimize digital promotional strategies and improve social media content quality in order to enhance sales performance and business competitiveness.

Abstract

This article discusses epistemology as one of the main branches of the philosophy of science that focuses on the nature, sources, methods, and validity of knowledge. Epistemology plays a crucial role in the development of science because it provides a philosophical basis for how knowledge is acquired and its truth is validated. This research uses a library research approach by examining various classical and contemporary literature related to epistemology. The results of the discussion indicate that epistemology encompasses the study of sources of knowledge such as the senses, reason, and intuition, the scope of epistemology which includes science, gnosis, and knowledge, as well as various epistemological schools of thought such as rationalism, empiricism, criticism, realism, and idealism. Understanding epistemology is crucial for developing critical and systematic thinking, particularly in the development of science and education.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease that poses a global health threat, with its prevalence increasing every year. Early detection through the application of Data Mining techniques is crucial to prevent severe complications and to support medical practitioners in making faster clinical decisions. This study aims to compare the performance of two popular machine learning algorithms, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest, in predicting diabetes risk. Unlike previous studies that often utilize complex feature optimization techniques or oversampling methods (such as SMOTE), this research focuses on evaluating baseline performance to observe each algorithm’s pure capability on the standard Pima Indians Diabetes dataset, which consists of 10,004 medical records with 22 clinical attributes. The experiments were conducted using RapidMiner with a 10-Fold Cross-Validation approach to ensure valid and reliable evaluation results. The findings show that the Random Forest algorithm achieved superior performance with an accuracy of 82.19%, while SVM obtained an accuracy of 79.40%. These results confirm that the ensemble learning approach of Random Forest provides better stability in handling clinical data with high variability compared to single-hyperplane methods such as SVM under default parameters. This study is expected to serve as a foundational benchmark for further development of diabetes prediction models in the future.

Abstract

The decline in student participation in physical activities at the university level has become a growing concern, particularly among students in Physical Education programs who are expected to model an active lifestyle. This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical literacy and student motivation in engaging in sports activities, both within and outside the academic setting. A quantitative correlational approach was employed, involving 120 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included two validated and reliable scales: one measuring physical literacy and the other measuring motivation for sports participation. The findings revealed that most students demonstrated moderate to high levels of physical literacy. However, only a small portion reported high motivation to participate in independent physical activities. The Pearson correlation test showed a positive and significant relationship between physical literacy and motivation to engage in sports activities (r = 0.611, p < 0.05). These results indicate that a higher level of physical literacy contributes to increased student motivation to engage in physical activities. This study highlights the importance of integrating conceptual understanding of physical literacy with practical learning strategies so that students not only understand the importance of physical activity but also adopt it as part of their lifestyle. The findings can serve as a foundation for developing physical education policies in higher education that are based on physical literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendalami pelanggaran norma komunikasi antarpribadi yang terjadi dalam kasus perselingkuhan antara pasangan dan sahabat dekat dengan menggunakan perspektif Communication Ethics Theory. Perselingkuhan tidak hanya mengenai persoalan moral, tetapi juga mencerminkan kegagalan komunikasi yang mengabaikan prinsip kejujuran, keterbukaan, dan penghormatan terhadap otonomi individu. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis kajian literatur, studi ini menyoroti bagaimana pelaku menggunakan strategi komunikasi manipulatif, pesan yang ambigu, dan distorsi makna untuk menutupi tindakannya. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa perselingkuhan antara pasangan dan sahabat dapat menimbulkan kehilangan kepercayaan, munculnya komunikasi defensif, serta konflik moral dan dilema loyalitas terutama ketika pihak ketiga yang terlibat adalah sahabat dekat. Di era digital, risiko semakin besar. Emotional infidelity dapat terjadi melalui interaksi daring seperti  private message atau aktivitas tersembunyi di media sosial. Melalui perspektif etika komunikasi, ini menunjukkan adanya krisis tanggung jawab moral dalam menggunakan bahasa dan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa komunikasi yang etis membutuhkan keseimbangan antara kebutuhan emosional, nilai moral, dan integritas dalam hubungan interpersonal.

Abstract

Decreased hemoglobin (Hb) levels during pregnancy are a public health problem that is still widely found, especially in low- and middle-income countries, and contributes to increased maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Pregnant women are a vulnerable group due to increased iron requirements and physiological changes during pregnancy. This study aims to systematically review the relationship between education level and interpregnancy interval with hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. The method used was a structured narrative literature review with literature searches on the PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Garuda databases. The articles included were quantitative studies on pregnant women published in the last five years (2021–2025) and reporting the relationship between education level or interpregnancy interval and anemia or hemoglobin levels. The synthesis results showed that education level indirectly affects hemoglobin levels through health literacy, nutritional knowledge, adherence to iron supplementation, and utilization of antenatal services. Mothers with low education tend to have lower hemoglobin levels due to limited understanding and preventive behaviors against anemia, although this effect may be weakened in contexts with good access to information and health services. Short interpregnancy intervals (less than 24 months) are consistently associated with decreased hemoglobin levels through the mechanisms of incomplete recovery of iron reserves after childbirth and increased physiological stress. Overall, education and interpregnancy interval affect hemoglobin levels through interrelated cognitive, behavioral, and biological pathways, necessitating an integrated intervention approach for anemia prevention in pregnant women.

Abstract

This study examines the legal framework governing sexual violence within marriage based on Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Sexual violence in marriage is often perceived as a taboo issue in society because such acts are considered private matters between husband and wife, and therefore frequently remain hidden and unreported. This research analyzes the forms of legal protection available for victims of sexual violence within marriage by employing a normative juridical research method. This method utilizes statutory and conceptual approaches through an examination of positive legal provisions, legal principles, and legal theories related to sexual violence and the protection of human rights. The findings of this study show that the legal instruments regulating and protecting victims of sexual violence in marriage are substantively adequate. However, the effectiveness of these regulations and protections remains highly dependent on the role of society and the government, including consistent law enforcement, a victim-centered approach by law enforcement officers, and increased legal awareness within the community.

Abstract

Futsal requires not only physical and technical skills but also adequate psychological readiness, particularly in dealing with competitive pressure. One psychological aspect that plays a crucial role in athletic performance is emotion regulation. This study aimed to describe the implementation of emotion regulation psychoeducation for futsal players in the OR community in Surabaya as a form of community-based psychological service. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to identify emotional difficulties experienced by the players. The intervention was designed as an emotion regulation psychoeducation program conducted in two offline sessions using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The findings indicated that players experienced difficulties in managing negative emotions such as anger and frustration during high-pressure game situations, which affected individual performance and team dynamics. Following the psychoeducational intervention, players demonstrated improved emotional awareness, more adaptive emotion regulation strategies, and better communication and teamwork. These results suggest that emotion regulation psychoeducation has the potential to be an effective intervention in supporting psychological well-being and performance stability among futsal players in non-formal sports communities.

Abstract

Futsal requires not only physical and technical readiness but also strong psychological preparedness, particularly in competitive situations involving social evaluation. One common psychological issue experienced by futsal players is fear of judgement, defined as anxiety related to negative evaluation by coaches, teammates, or spectators. This study aimed to describe the implementation of psychoeducation as an intervention to address fear of judgement among players of the OR Futsal Community in Surabaya. The study employed a qualitative approach with a community-based intervention design. Participants were active futsal players aged 18–25 years, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The intervention consisted of three psychoeducational sessions focusing on understanding fear of judgement, strengthening emotional regulation in competitive contexts, and developing supportive team communication. The results indicated a reduction in evaluative anxiety, increased self-awareness, and improvements in emotional regulation and interpersonal communication among players. Psychoeducation was found to be an effective initial approach to fostering a psychologically safe environment and enhancing sustainable team performance.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a crucial psychological aspect that supports individual performance, particularly in sports and performing arts activities that require public appearance, such as cheerleading. This study aimed to identify self-confidence issues among cheerleading community members and to design and evaluate an appropriate psychological intervention within a community service context. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design involving the Stetsa Cheerleaders Squad (SCS) in Malang City. The participants were cheerleading members aged 16–18 years who exhibited low to moderate levels of self-confidence. Data were collected using a multimethod assessment approach, including non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews with the coach, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and a self-confidence scale based on Lauster’s theory. The assessment results indicated that several members experienced low self-confidence, characterized by performance anxiety, self-doubt, avoidance behavior, and difficulties in emotional regulation during training and competitions. The Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)-based intervention was found to be effective in helping members identify and modify negative thought patterns, increase performance confidence, and enhance mental readiness. This study highlights the importance of community-based psychological services in supporting psychological development and optimal performance among cheerleading members.
