Abstract

The low use of media in the science learning process is one of the reasons behind this research. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of Smart Box media for science learning in order to improve student learning outcomes in the nervous system material. The method chosen in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by applying the Lewins model, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. A total of 16 sixth grade students of SDN Sangen 02 became subjects in this study by conducting 2 cycles. Based on the findings of the researcher, the percentage of learning completion before and after applying Smart Box media in the pre-cycle was 58.25%, cycle I 75%, and cycle II 90%. Seeing the percentage of completion in cycle II of 90% has been met, so it can be concluded that the use of Smart Box media in learning can improve student learning outcomes and student enthusiasm during the learning process.

Abstract

Waste is one of the problems that has yet to be fully addressed. Lack of understanding about the importance of waste segregation and processing, as well as limited management facilities, especially for plastic waste, makes the people of Dukuh Mantren tend to process waste in an inappropriate way. Therefore, education about waste management is needed. The purpose of this work program is to find out the condition of integrated waste management in the community and what factors support and hinder integrated waste management in the Dukuh Mantren community. The data obtained is then used for alternative strategies that can be used in integrated waste management in the Dukuh Mantren community. This education program is carried out through socialization, observation, and interview methods. The results of the Waste Management and Ecobrick Socialization Program carried out by KKN Tematik UNS proved effective in overcoming waste problems in Dukuh Mantren, Klodran Village. The program succeeded in increasing the community's understanding of the types of waste and how to process them properly. This research confirms that the Waste Management and Ecobricking Socialization program has a positive impact on overcoming the waste problem in Dukuh Mantren, Klodran Village.

Abstract

Tolerance is human behavior to respect and respect differencesin a certain environment or group. The relationship between tolerance towards others is to create an attitude of mutual understanding and it is very important to respect each other. Religious tolerance is tolerance related to the beliefs or belief held by each person that are related to divinity. Religious tolerance is also an attitude to recognize peace and not deviate from recognized and applicable norms.

Abstract

The loss of students' self-awareness to go to college is a phenomenon that is carried over into the world of higher education. This phenomenon reflects the phenomenon of motivation, enthusiasm for learning, and responsibility for academic tasks that should be a priority. The purpose of this study is to increase students' self-awareness of the importance of college. This study uses a quantitative method. In this study, researchers describe objectively the loss of students' awareness in college. The data selected are direct communication and data sources obtained through PBSI Semester 1 students of Muhammadiyah University of Maumere. The results of the study indicate that by increasing access and quality of education and building public awareness, this problem can be overcome. In addition, increasing awareness of the importance of education can be done by building an active and supportive learning community. This can be achieved by holding discussions and other activities that promote the importance of education.

Abstract

Semantic is the study of meaning. Changes in meaning are included in the study of semantics. These changes are influenced by the development of times caused by several factors. Changes in meaning can also occur in the world of literature, as literature is created using the medium of language. Language is a social creation, and one of the literary works is the novel. The novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur by Muhidin M. Dahlan is an intriguing work as its story is based on the real-life events of a devout Muslim woman who eventually becomes a prostitute. The aim of this research is to analyze the forms of pejorative meaning changes in the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur by Muhidin M. Dahlan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The data for this study consists of words taken from quotes in the novel, with the source being the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur, published in 2016. The data collection technique employed in this research involves reading and noting by marking words that fall under pejoration, coding them, and recording the data. For the data analysis technique, the study classifies data that includes changes in pejorative meaning, analyzes the data, and draws conclusions. The results of this research found 19 forms of words that have undergone pejorative meaning changes.

Abstract

Slang is a dialect of the non-formal Indonesia language used By the community. Students are teenagers who often use slang, this causes students to have difficulty speaking formal language and directlyp influences the haracter of the Indonesian language. Knowing the extent to which slang influences Indonesian omong people PBSI students. To describe the results of the questionnaire and determine the impact of slang on students. This research uses quantitative descripyive methods. Data collection techniques include questionnaire and direct observation. The respodents were 9PBSI students at Muhammadyah Universirty, Maumere. Slang is commonly used by students. Slang has been used as everyday language. The use of slang is rarely used in the campus environment. Slang will have a bad influence on the of Indonesian because use takes a long time to eliminate it. However, Slang is difficult to eliminate among teenagers. For this reason, we will further develop the influences that the use of slang among teenagers.

Abstract

Children are small humans who have potential that still needs to be developed. Children have certain characteristics that are unique and different from adults, they are always active, dynamic, enthusiastic and curious about what they see, hear, feel, they seem to never stop exploring and learning. Early childhood (range 0-6 years) is the right time for parents to provide education that helps develop positive behavior in children. Moreover, at this early age is the golden age, where the brain experiences very rapid or explosive development. Early childhood can be said to be repeat imitators, where children will imitate what is seen, heard, felt from their environment. This is because, early childhood does not yet know the boundaries of right or wrong, good or bad, and appropriate. Instilling character values in early childhood is an important step in forming a good personality from an early age. One effective method in character education is through literature, especially fairy tales. The method used is a qualitative method with library research. The results of the study show that fairy tales have great potential in instilling moral values, such as honesty, courage, responsibility, and empathy. Therefore, the use of fairy tales as a medium for early childhood character education is a relevant and effective strategy to support character in early childhood.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the learning outcomes of the squat style long jump in class V students of SDN Ngadirejo 1 Kediri. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). This study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of the study were 31 class V students of SDN Ngadirejo 1 Kediri consisting of 14 male students and 17 female students. Data sources came from teachers, students and researchers. Data collection techniques were through observation and documentation or archives. Data validity used data triangulation techniques. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive techniques using percentage techniques to see the tendencies that occurred in learning activities. The results of the data analysis can be presented as follows: the learning outcomes of students' squat style long jump in Cycle I from 31 students reached 51.61% or as many as 16 students had entered the completion criteria and in Cycle II it increased to 83.87% or as many as 26 students while 5 other students had not completed with a KKM score of 75. The results of the data analysis above can be concluded that the use of learning aids can improve the learning outcomes of squat style long jump in class V students of SDN Ngadirejo 1 Kediri.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine 1) the description of the principal's motivation and managerial performance and the performance of teachers at SD Cluster I, Sibulue District, Bone Regency, 2) the relationship between principal motivation and the performance of elementary school teachers at cluster I, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. 3) the managerial relationship between the principal and Performance of Gugus I Elementary School Teachers, Sibulue District, Bone Regency 4) The relationship between motivation and managerialism of the school principal together on the performance of Gugus I Elementary School teachers, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. The research was carried out at Gugus I Elementary School, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. The independent variables in this research are the principal's motivation and managerial skills, while the dependent variable is teacher performance. The population in this study were all teachers in elementary school cluster I, Sibulue District, totaling 100 people, while the sample was 30 people. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique is multiple regression analysis technique. Based on the results of the research, it shows that there is a relationship between the motivation and managerialism of school principals and the performance of elementary school teachers in Cluster I, Sibulue District, Bone Regency.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the picture of learning interest, learning discipline, learning activity of UPT SD Negeri 23 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency? and is there a significant relationship between learning interest and learning discipline with learning activity of UPT SD Negeri 23 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency? This study is a correlation study that aims to determine the picture of learning interest, learning discipline, learning activity and the relationship between learning interest and learning discipline with learning activity of UPT SD Negeri 23 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency. The research approach is a quantitative approach. The research data were obtained through questionnaires and documentation. The population in the study were all high-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 23 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat sub-district, Bone regency, totaling 30 students. The sample in the study was 30 students. The data analysis technique was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained in this study are a description of learning interest showing a very high category and learning discipline showing a very high category with learning activity showing a high category and learning interest and learning discipline have a significant relationship to student learning activity, especially in the high-grade UPT SD Negeri 23 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat district, Bone regency.
