Prosiding Seminar Kesehatan Nasional ISSN 3031-8572 (Online) ini merupakan kegiatan tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PPPM) Universitas Baiturrahim. Abstract

Overnutrition is a condition in which a person's body is overweight due to an excess amount of energy intake stored in the form of reserves in the form of fat. Overnutrition can be influenced by consumption patterns of energy and protein. Overnutrition is a problem that needs special attention because it has a big influence on determining the growth and development of the body as an adult. This type of research is descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all students at SMP N 3 Sungai penuh. The sample in this study was 44 respondents and was carried out using a proportional random sampling technique. The variables used in this study were consumption patterns and nutritional status. Data on consumption patterns were obtained using interviews using the questionnaire of consumption pattern and nutritional status data obtained from direct measurements. Data were collected and then analyzed univariate and bivariate with the chi-square test. The results showed that most of the respondents had poor consumption patterns with more nutritional status (73.7%). The conclusion of this study was that there was no significant relationship between consumption patterns and nutritional status (P> 0.05). For this reason, it is expected to increase knowledge about good consumption patterns so that they can influence nutritional status.

Abstract

The high source of protein in green beans and can improve efforts to optimize the processing of green beans can be done by means of food diversification, green beans can be made into flour. Then the processing of mung bean flour is used as an alternative ingredient to substitute wheat flour in making cookies. The purpose of this study was to determine the acceptability of cookies substituting wheat flour with mung bean flour (Vigna radiata). This study was an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments of cookies substitution of mung bean flour A1 (100% wheat flour : 0% mung bean flour), A2 (80% wheat flour : 20% mung bean flour), A3 ( 70% wheat flour : 30% mung bean flour), A4 (60% wheat flour : 40% mung bean flour). Parameters observed in the study included color, aroma, texture, and taste in the acceptability test as well as water and protein content. The results showed that the best substitution of wheat flour with mung bean flour was A3 treatment (70% wheat flour : 30% mung bean flour), 4.21% moisture content, 5.01% protein with a color preference level of 4.20 (likes) , aroma 4.30 (like), texture 4.20 (like), and taste 4.17 (like). From the results of the study it can be concluded that cookies substitution of wheat flour with mung bean flour has a significant effect on acceptability, water content and protein in cookies.

Abstract

Pregnant women are one of the groups most prone to nutritional problems. One of the nutritional problems experienced by pregnant women is Chronic Energy Malnutrition (CEM). The prevalence of CEM in Siulak Mukai Public Health Center Work Area. This study aims to determine the dietary diversity and family income with the incidence of CEM in pregnant women in the Siulak Mukai Public Health Center Work Area. This study is a quantitative study with a case-control design that was carried out in the Siulak Mukai Public Health Center Work Area from October 2021-July 2022. The population of this study amounted to 101 pregnant women. The sample of this study was 42 pregnant women; 14 pregnant women as cases and 28 pregnant women as controls. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis used the chi-square test. Pregnant women who experience CEM in the Siulak Mukai Public Health Center Work Area were 13.9%. Pregnant women who consume that non-diverse food were 14.2%. Pregnant women who have a low family income were 45.2%. There was no significant relationship between dietary diversity (p-value = 0.161) and family income (p-value = 0.443) with the incidence of CEM. This study concludes that dietary diversity and family income is not a factor that affects the incidence of CEM in pregnant women in the Siulak Mukai Public Health Center Work Area. It is necessary to conduct further research related to the factors that influence the occurrence of CEM.

Abstract

Adolescence is a group that is vulnerable to various nutritional problems such as undernutrition and overnutrition, the influence of nutritional promlems on growth, development, intellectual and productivity shows the large role of nutrition. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analysis the relationship between nutritional knowledge and eating habits with nutritional status in adolescents at SMAN 2 Merangin in 2022. This research is an analysis study with a cross sectional study design which was carried out at SMAN 2 Merangin in 2022. The population in this study was 381 adolescents with a sample of 79 adolescents with by purposive sampling technique . Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Statistical analysis used is univariate and bivariate analiysis. Based on univariate analysis, most of the adolescents at SMAN 2 MERANGIN had knowledge of nutrition which was classified as poor 48 (61%), good eating habits 51% (65%) and nutritional status classified as good 58 (73,4%). Chi-square analysis shows that there is no relationship between nutritional knowedge and nutritional status (P-Value=0,900) and there is no relationship between eating habits and nutritional status (P-Value=0,442). can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge and eating habits with nutritional status.

Abstract

Children are an asset of human resources and the next generation that need to be considered in their lives. Adequacy of nutrition and food is one of the most important factors in developing the quality of Human Resources. Based on data from SSGI (2021), there are 3 major regions in Jambi Province that experience nutritional problems in children based on (TB/U), one of which is Kerinci Regency (26.7%). The purpose of this study was to analyze and further examine the relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement in fourth grade elementary school children in Siulak Distric . This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The location of this research was conducted in several schools that had the largest population representing 17 elementary schools with A, B, and C accreditation, in the Siulak District, namely SDN IT AL -Madina Telago Biru (accreditation A), SDN 176/III Siulak Kecil Mudik (Accreditation B), SDN 87/III Air Terjun (Accreditation C). This research was conducted from July to August 2022. The population in the study was 1970 people. The sample is 95 people with purposive sampling technique. The statistical test used is the chi square test. The results showed that most of the elementary school children in Siulak District had normal nutritional status (81.1%), with good academic achievement (70.5%). There is a significant relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement of elementary school children in Siulak District (p value = 0.011). It is hoped that the elementary school will cooperate with the local health center in improving the nutritional status of children so as to create good learning achievements for all students

Abstract

Elderly is a life process characterized by a decrease in the ability of various organs in the body, causing a decrease in muscle strength and contraction, a decrease in muscle flexibility and elasticity, a decrease in proprioceptive function, visual, vestibular, and reaction time disturbance so that it can cause dynamic balance disorders. in the elderly. objective: To determine the management of physiotherapy in overcoming the problem of dynamic balance disorders in the elderly with interventional balance exercises and core stability. Result: After doing physiotherapy actions using balance exercise and core stability at a dose of 3 times a week for 2 weeks, the result showed that there was an increase in dynamic balance in the elderly. conclusion: balance exercise and core stability can improve dynamic balance in the elderly.

Abstract

Nutritional problems in Indonesia are still high, the main cause is the low public awareness of efforts to improve nutrition. The period of the first 2 years of life is a critical period because at this time there is very rapid growth and development. The presence of nutritional disorders at this time is permanent and cannot be reversed even though nutritional needs can be met in the next period of life. The design of this research is quantitative with a cross sectional, the research sample is 81 families taken by proportional sampling technique. Data was collected by direct interviews with respondents using a questionnaire about Kadarzi, observing KMS books. Data analysis includes univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with chi-square. Aunivariate analysis of most of the respondents had families with small categories (70.4%), high incomes (59.3%), active health workers (69.1%), and families who had low levels of energy (61.7%). The chi-squere test shows that there is a relationship between family size and the application of KADARZI (0.002), there is a relationship between family income and the application of KADARZI (0.001), there is a relationship between the role of health workers and the application of KADARZI (0.001).It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between family size, family income, and the role of health workers in the application of KADARZI.

Abstract

Nausea is one of the earliest, most common and most stressful symptoms associated with pregnancy. Most pregnant women experience nausea and even vomiting in the first trimester. Nausea in early pregnancy is often considered a common complaint experienced by pregnant women, so it is often ignored, but can cause discomfort and interfere with activities. Often pregnant women ask for both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy to overcome or reduce this discomfort. Initial management of nausea in the first trimester of pregnancy should be conservative with changes in diet, emotional support, and alternative therapies such as herbs. Traditional herbal ingredients that can be used include ginger, where ginger contains essential oils that have a refreshing effect and block the gag reflex, while gingerol can make blood and nerves work properly. For this reason, pregnant women need to be educated about the use of ginger to relieve nausea in the first trimester of pregnancy. This community service is carried out by providing health education through counseling to pregnant women about the use of ginger to treat nausea and vomiting in the first trimester of pregnancy, in mother class activities held at the Puskesmas Putri Ayu, Jambi City. The results of this activity were an increase in pregnant women's knowledge about how to deal with nausea by using ginger as an herbal therapy

Abstract

Of the many problems that occur in Indonesia, one of the problems that is still crucial and has a serious impact on the quality of human resources (HR), namely nutritional problems, Kadarzi is a family with balanced nutritional behavior that is able to recognize, prevent and overcome nutritional problems in every member of the family. Families are said to have good fertility behavior if they have implemented the five indicators of fertility, namely weighing regularly, giving exclusive breastfeeding, eating a variety of foods, using iodized salt and consuming nutritional supplements. The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship of knowledge about the concept of Kadarzi to Posyandu Activities, Exclusive Breastfeeding and Use of Iodized Salt in the working area of the Pondok Tinggi District Health Center. The research design is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all families who had children under five aged 6-48 months, 514 families, samples was 81 people with the accidental random sampling technique. The statistical test used is the Chi-Square Test with a standard p-value ≥ 0.05. Based on the results of research that has a concentration of <5 indicators 47.8% of children under five, data that has a concentration of 5 indicators is 42.2% of children under five. Meanwhile, activities at Posyandu were 82.6% for toddlers. it is known that there is a significant relationship between the nutritional awareness family relationship and toddler status. It is hoped that mothers can increase their knowledge, especially about the levels of nutrition, so that they can improve the behavior of families who are aware of nutrition

Abstract

Pregnancy will change many things in the body, including the breasts. In addition to getting bigger, the nipples may become more sensitive than usual. Other changes are related to the glands around the breast area, specifically in the areola. This change is the appearance of lumps in the breasts during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This condition, known as Montgomery's tubercles, is considered normal. The problem encountered in pregnant and lactating women is the lack of understanding of the lumps that appear in the area, so the purpose of this activity is to provide understanding and increase knowledge about Montgomery tubercles in RT 03 Mekarjaya Village, Muaro Jambi Regency. In the form of counseling with a time of approximately 40 minutes and preceded by a pre test and ending with a post test, using a questionnaire. This activity was carried out in October 2021. The community service method used a survey approach, lectures, discussions and sharing experiences on matters related to the problem of the appearance of lumps in the areola of the mammary. The results obtained are that mothers understand about the Montgomery glands and do not need to worry about it. If there are no signs and symptoms that point to breast cancer then there is no need to worry. The next activity needs to optimize how to care for the breasts themselves for pregnant and lactating women. This activity will of course be included in the Abdimas Health Journal as an output.
