Abstract

This article explores the integration of Islamic values in the educational sphere by examining the concept of values, types of Islamic educational values, implementation strategies, and the challenges faced in the process. Islamic values such as honesty, responsibility, compassion, and justice are central to shaping holistic student character. The study uses a literature review method, drawing from relevant academic journal sources. Integration strategies include curriculum-based approaches, school culture, teacher modeling, and value-based learning methodologies. The findings highlight several major challenges, including a lack of comprehensive understanding among educators, the influence of globalization and secular media, and weak collaboration between schools, families, and communities. Furthermore, current national educational policies often do not fully support the inclusion of Islamic values across all subjects. Addressing these issues requires collaborative efforts, continuous teacher development, and contextual strategies to ensure Islamic values are effectively embedded in educational practices. This article contributes to the conceptual understanding of Islamic character education and emphasizes the importance of aligning pedagogy with religious values in the modern educational system.

Abstract

The demonstration method is a learning method that uses demonstrations to clarify a concept or to show the whole class about a process or instructions for doing something. Implementation of the Demonstration Method to increase student activity, so that they can interact more easily with teachers or classmates and can make it easier to understand the material presented by the teacher. This study aims to determine the implementation of the demonstration method in Fiqh learning at MAN 1 Bogor City, and its impact on student activity. The demonstration method was chosen because it can increase student interaction with teachers and friends, and make it easier to understand the material. The study used a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, with data analysis in the form of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the paired sample t-test showed an increase in student activity by 29.27% ​​after the implementation of the demonstration method. The supporting factors for the success of this method are student enthusiasm and the relevance of the material, while the inhibiting factors include limited time and facilities.

Abstract

Ulumul Qur'an is a branch of science in Islam that specifically studies various aspects related to the Qur'an. Areas of focus in this study include the history of the revelation of the Qur'an, its recitation techniques (qira'at), how to interpret it, as well as the social and historical background in the decline of various verses. The purpose of this article is to provide a complete explanation of the definition, scope, purpose, and journey of the development of this science from the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW to the time of the companions and tabi'in. With an understanding of these elements, it is hoped that Muslims can explore the meaning of the Qur'an more deeply and contextually, so that they can apply its teachings in their daily lives. This research confirms that Ulumul Qur'an plays a very significant role, not only in an academic context, but also in answering religious and social challenges in modern times.

Abstract

Kajian fiqh siyasah dalam konteks perjanjian dan perdamaian menempati posisi sentral dalam pengembangan hukum Islam kontemporer yang berorientasi pada keadilan, stabilitas, dan etika hubungan sosial-politik. Artikel ini membahas secara mendalam empat kaidah fiqh utama yang berkaitan dengan perjanjian dan perdamaian, yaitu: al-aslu fi al-mu’ahadat al-istimrar (pada dasarnya perjanjian bersifat berkelanjutan), al-aslu fi al-‘alaqah al-silm (pada dasarnya hubungan adalah damai), al-shulh ‘an al-hudud batil (perdamaian tidak dapat menggugurkan hudud), dan al-‘aqd yura‘a ma‘a al-kafir kama yura‘a ma‘a al-muslim (perjanjian dengan non-Muslim diperlakukan sebagaimana dengan Muslim). Melalui pendekatan normatif dan studi literatur, artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa hukum Islam mengedepankan prinsip keberlanjutan komitmen, perdamaian universal, dan keadilan substantif tanpa diskriminasi. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi bahwa kaidah-kaidah fiqh siyasah tidak hanya relevan dalam kerangka teoritis, tetapi juga memberikan arah yang jelas dalam praktik kenegaraan, hubungan antarnegara, serta penyelesaian konflik yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai ilahiyah.

Abstract

Asbab an-Nuzull is a science that discusses the reasons for the revelation of the verses of the Quran, which certainly plays an important role in understanding the historical context and the laws contained therein. This study aims to explain the concept of Asbab an-Nuzull, the division of its types, as well as its urgency and benefits in the science of tafsir. Through literature review from various scholars, it is found that Asbab an-Nuzul is divided into two main forms, namely event-based and question-based. In addition, an understanding of Asbab an-Nuzul can help avoid errors in the interpretation of verses and provide a deeper insight into the background of the revelation of Quranic verses. Therefore, knowledge of Asbab an-Nuzul is essential for mufassirs when interpreting the Quran more accurately and contextually.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a revelation from Allah SWT that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW gradually over a period of 23 years. The collection and codification of the Qur'an has a very important role in maintaining its authenticity so that it remains protected from change. The process of collecting the Qur'an began during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW with memorization by his companions and recording on various media such as date palm stems, animal skins, and camel bones. After the Prophet's death, during the time of Caliph Abu Bakr Ash-Shiddiq, the Qur'an was collected into one mushaf to avoid losing the revelation due to the death of the memorizers in the Riddah War. Furthermore, during the time of Caliph Uthman bin Affan, differences in reading among Muslims caused by differences in dialect were finally standardized by making several copies of the official mushaf and burning other mushafs with different readings. This process continues with developments in writing, adding punctuation, and systematics that make it easier to read the Qur'an. The study of Jum‘ul Qur'an is very important in understanding how these efforts have maintained the authenticity and purity of the Qur'an until today.

Abstract

Al-Munasabah is the relationship between verses and surahs in the Qur'an, which has an important role in understanding and interpreting the Qur'an. The arrangement of surahs in the Qur'an is not random but structured. This study aims to improve one's understanding of the Qur'an by knowing the definitions, types, and benefits of studying al-Munasabah. The qualitative research method used in this study involves a literature review of several scientific works and books that discuss coherence between verses and surahs. Munasabah can help in interpreting Qur'anic verses as well as the relationship between one verse and another.

Abstract

This article examines Al-Farabi’s philosophical thought, particularly his metaphysical views, theory of intellect, and the relationship between philosophy and religion. Al-Farabi explains the creation of the universe through the concept of emanation and classifies sciences based on ontological and ethical foundations. He emphasizes that philosophy and religion share the same goal of conveying truth, despite using different methods. In politics, he proposes the ideal state led by a philosopher-prophet. His ideas remain relevant today, especially in education and character development.
