Abstract

The Muara Enim Welcome Dance is a dance that lives and develops in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, before the welcoming dance was called the Sembah Dance which grew and developed in the hamlet community of Muara Enim Regency. No one knows who created this Sembah Dance because this Traditional Dance is the culture and art of the Kikim ethnic community around 400 years ago. The dance which is included in the elements of this art originates from oral stories passed down from generation to generation based on the experiences of previous ancestors. More or less around 1956, the Prayer Dance was initiated again by Mr. M. Natar. Research This study aims to analyze the Welcome Dance of Muara Enim in developing the Nyireh Lima Berintit Dance in the Muara Enim community. The Nyireh Lima Berintit dance is a dance that is performed at welcoming important guests and weddings, this dance is developed to be 10 minutes. This dance is always danced by 5 female dancers and accompanied by 3 male dancers holding umbrellas and spears standing behind the female dancers. In this study using Y. Sumandiyo Hadi's theory which contains an analysis of the forms of motion, the benefits of this research are to identify and study and analyze the problems that arise in the development of this dance. So this research uses a qualitative approach by focusing on data collection.

Sumandiyo Hadi's theory in the principles of dance form, in one of the courses in semester 6 (six) in the Performing Arts Education Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and PGRI Palembang University of Education. What will be discussed is the principle of the form of motion in Sesentenan's Sambut Lan Serasan Dance, which includes wholeness, variation, repetition, transition, series, comparison, and climax. The Serasan Sekentenan Sambut Lan Dance is a development of the Musi Rawas Welcome Silampari Dance. The word Lan Serasan Sekentenan means a peaceful earth, mutual cooperation, tolerance and hand in hand. The Sambut Lan for special guests. Where the Sambut Lan Serasan Sekentenan Dance uses a tepak property Serasan Sekentenan dance is included in the type of traditional dance as a welcoming dance containing a betel leaf as a symbol of respect for certain guests. This welcoming dance is performed by 8 dancers, consisting of 5 female dancers and 3 male dancers. The make-up in this dance uses corrective make-up. Clothing in this dance uses a bracketed shirt. The use of identical colors, namely red in the sambut lan serasan sekentenan dance.

Abstract

The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a strategic step in modernizing healthcare services, aiming to improve documentation quality and service efficiency. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the implementation of EMR documentation in the Internal Medicine Ward of Dr. R. Soedjono Selong Regional General Hospital. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and involved 33 respondents consisting of healthcare workers in the internal medicine ward. The research instrument was a questionnaire measuring demographic characteristics, computer literacy, computer facilities, knowledge, and attitudes toward EMR. The results showed that age, length of service, knowledge, and attitudes were significantly associated with EMR implementation, while gender, education, profession, computer literacy, and computer facilities showed no significant association. The most dominant factor influencing EMR implementation was healthcare workers' attitudes. These findings emphasize the importance of educational interventions and behavioral change in supporting the implementation of health information technology.

Abstract

Agricultural machinery assistance is a strategic instrument in Indonesia’s agricultural modernization agenda. The program is intended to improve farming efficiency, reduce production costs, accelerate farm operations, and widen farmers’ access to agricultural technology. However, the effectiveness of such assistance depends not only on the number of machines distributed but also on the quality of governance shaping planning, beneficiary targeting, distribution, utilization, and oversight. This article examines governance failure in Indonesia’s agricultural machinery assistance policy through three dimensions: distribution, accountability, and the risk of clientelism. It applies a critical literature review approach to open-access publications from 2022–2026 on agricultural mechanization, local government capacity, performance accountability, transparency, and political clientelism. The review shows that the core problems of agricultural machinery assistance are not merely technical but also institutional and political. Distribution becomes vulnerable to mistargeting when beneficiary verification is weak and local implementation capacity is limited. Accountability often remains procedural rather than oriented toward actual utilization and outcomes. In addition, because agricultural machinery assistance is materially valuable and politically visible, it may be vulnerable to patronage and clientelist intervention at the local level. The article argues that reforming agricultural machinery assistance requires transparent, accountable, utilization-based governance and stronger safeguards against transactional political interference.

Abstract

The runway lighting system is a vital facility to ensure flight operational safety, especially at night or in low visibility conditions. This study aims to design the re-installation of threshold and runway end lights at Fransiskus Xaverius Seda Maumere Airport, transitioning from elevated to inset type with a 7-0-7 configuration on a 45-meter wide runway. The use of the inset type aims to create an obstacle-free zone at the runway threshold to minimize the risk of damage to aircraft tires and landing gear. The methodology employed is Research and Development (R&D) level 1, which includes field observations, interviews, and technical design. Load analysis results indicate a total circuit power requirement of 1.68 kVA, which is optimally served by a 4 kVA Constant Current Regulator (CCR) with an operational efficiency level of 42%. Geometric calculations resulted in a light spacing of 2.25 meters with an 18-meter center gap, complying with ICAO Annex 14 standards. Theoretical testing confirmed a voltage drop of 91.47 Volts, ensuring a stable distribution of the 6.6 Ampere current. The outputs of this research are Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) documents as technical references for the field implementation of the re-installation.

Abstract

The background of this study is the frequent damage to the solar cell-based Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system at Douw Aturure Nabire Airport, while this system is the only visual landing aid used. This condition has the potential to disrupt the operational reliability of the airport and flight safety, especially during the approach and landing of aircraft. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of damage to the solar cell-based PAPI system and compare its reliability with the conventional PAPI system that uses a Constant Current Regulator (CCR). The method used is a descriptive method with a survey approach through field observations, technical measurements, technician interviews, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed descriptively and using a fishbone approach to identify the factors causing the damage, as well as a comparative analysis between the solar cell PAPI and CCR PAPI systems. The discussion of the research includes the performance of solar panels, batteries, inverters, and PAPI lights, the patterns of damage that occurred, and a comparison of the reliability, energy sources, and frequency of interference between the solar cell and CCR systems. The conclusion of the study shows that solar cell-based PAPI systems have a lower reliability level than CCR-based PAPI systems due to power supply instability and environmental influences, thus requiring improved maintenance and system evaluation to support flight safety

Abstract

Education has a strategic role in shaping human resources that are not only academically excellent but also possess strong character values. Teachers act as role models in the character-building process of students through exemplary behavior, guidance, and motivation. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers as role models in character formation, the process of character development through exemplary practices, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors involved. This research employed a qualitative approach using a literature study method on seven relevant scientific articles published between 2021 and 2026. The findings indicate that teachers have multidimensional roles as exemplars, mentors, and motivators. The process of character formation occurs through modeling mechanisms, namely observation, imitation, internalization, and habituation. Supporting factors include a conducive school environment, collaboration with parents, and the integration of character values into learning activities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include teachers’ lack of consistency, external environmental influences, and the gap between theory and practice. Therefore, the role of teachers as role models is a key factor in the success of character education.
