Abstract

Based on the results of observations on basketball material learning at SMPN 1 Bayan class VIII, teachers still use conventional learning methods. The observation results show that students' dribbling learning outcomes in basketball learning are still lacking. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of dribbling not achieving classical mastery. This shows that the learning process has not actively involved students, the teacher is still the center of learning, the lack of teaching models or methods in learning is still not developed enough to achieve educational goals. From the results of the research and discussion, the following conclusions can be drawn: The application of peer teaching is able to improve student learning outcomes at SMPN 1 Bayan. Improved student learning outcomes can be seen from the learning outcomes achieved in the implementation of tests in Cycle I and Cycle II. Students who take part in the learning process are 25 students with the number of students who pass the Cognitive test 100%, Affective test 100%, and Psychomotor test 92%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching method of physical education, sports, and health (PJOK) based on the traditional game of enjang-enjang. The background of this study departs from the need for a contextual, fun, and local wisdom-based learning approach in accordance with the demands of the Independent Curriculum. Traditional games are seen as having educational and character values that can enrich students' learning experiences. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results showed that the enjang-enjang-based teaching method was able to increase learning motivation, active involvement, and the formation of student character such as sportsmanship, responsibility, and cooperation. Teachers designed and implemented learning systematically by integrating local cultural values into the lesson plan (RPP). Supporting factors for the success of this method included school support, student enthusiasm, and teacher readiness. Meanwhile, obstacles faced included limited learning time, unpredictable weather, and students' unfamiliarity with the game rules. However, teachers were able to overcome these obstacles through adaptive strategies. These findings indicate that the integration of traditional games into physical education (PJOK) learning is not only curricularly relevant but also effective in shaping students' character, contextualization, and appreciation for local culture

Abstract

Frozen shrimp roll is a high-risk processed food product that requires strict temperature control during production to ensure product quality and safety. Failure to achieve optimal cooling and freezing temperatures may lead to quality deterioration and increase the risk of microbial growth. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of cooling time and freezing time on the core temperature and microbiological quality of shrimp roll. A factorial completely randomized design was employed with two factors: cooling time (24, 28, and 32 min) and freezing time (30, 35, 40, and 45 min), each conducted in duplicate. The observed parameters included product core temperature and Total Plate Count (TPC). The results showed that freezing time significantly affected (p < 0.05) the core temperature of shrimp roll, whereas cooling time had no significant effect. However, the interaction between cooling time and freezing time significantly influenced the product’s core temperature. The lowest core temperature achieved was −28.35°C at a cooling time of 32 min and a freezing time of 45 min. Considering both target temperature attainment and process efficiency, the combination of 24 min cooling and 40 min freezing was identified as the optimum treatment, resulting in a core temperature of −23.05°C. TPC analysis revealed that all treatments yielded microbial counts of <1.0 × 10³ CFU/g, which were below the maximum limit established by PT XYZ. These findings indicate that the applied cooling and freezing conditions were effective in achieving the required core temperature while maintaining the microbiological quality of shrimp roll.

Abstract

Marketing strategy plays a crucial role in enhancing the competitiveness and added value of horticultural commodities, including Brazilia mangoes. Despite their superior product quality, local farmers in Banjar Dinas Sanih, Kubutambahan District, continue to face various marketing challenges that contribute to price fluctuations and unstable incomes. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of Brazilia mangoes based on the marketing mix framework, encompassing product, price, place, and promotion, as well as to identify the marketing constraints encountered by local farmers. A qualitative approach employing a case study design was adopted. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, while data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Data were systematically analyzed through data selection and organization, descriptive presentation of the findings, and interpretation to derive meaningful conclusions. The credibility of the findings was enhanced through source triangulation to verify the consistency of information obtained from different informants. The results indicate that product quality constitutes the primary competitive advantage of Brazilia mangoes, as they are characterized by large fruit size, thick flesh, a sweet taste, a distinctive aroma, and relatively good shelf life, all of which contribute to strong consumer appeal. However, pricing strategies remain largely dependent on market mechanisms, distribution channels continue to rely predominantly on collectors and traditional markets, and promotional activities have not yet fully utilized digital media. In addition, farmers face several challenges, including price fluctuations, changing weather conditions, high production and maintenance costs, and limited marketing networks. The study concludes that the implementation of the marketing mix has supported the marketing of Brazilia mangoes; however, further improvements are needed through product innovation, expansion of distribution networks, and optimization of digital promotion strategies to enhance competitiveness and ensure the sustainability of local farming enterprises.
