Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a significant role in supporting local economic development; however, many business owners still face marketing challenges due to limited utilization of digital technology. This community service program aimed to enhance MSME marketing capacity through visual promotion digitalization and Google Maps integration for Tahu Bunda Ririn MSME in Kembang Kerang Village, Aikmel District, East Lombok Regency. The implementation methods included observation, interviews, needs analysis, development of visual promotional media in the form of banners and posters using Canva, assistance in creating a Google Maps business profile, and activity evaluation. The results demonstrated that the MSME successfully established a business profile integrated with Google Maps, enabling customers to easily locate the business and access business information digitally. Furthermore, the promotional banners and posters improved the visual identity and attractiveness of the business to the community. The assistance program also enhanced the UMKM owner's digital literacy and understanding of technology utilization for marketing purposes. Overall, the program successfully increased business visibility, strengthened local marketing efforts, and created opportunities for broader market expansion through digital technology adoption. This empowerment model can serve as an alternative technology-based strategy for UMKM development that is practical and applicable in rural areas.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology demands mastery of digital literacy, yet rural communities still face difficulties in accessing practical technology. This community service program aims to improve the technological skills of villagers through training on assembling and operating LED-based running text as a village information medium. A number of participants, consisting of village officials and general residents, were involved in this activity. The stages included preparation, socialization, hands-on training, evaluation, and follow-up. As a result, participants' understanding of the functions, components, and operation of running text increased by an average of more than 60%. On the other hand, the implementation of the Community Service Program was motivated by the village's need for more systematic and efficient population data management. The manual data collection process previously used made it difficult to search for data, update information, and compile administrative reports. This condition encouraged the design of a population data collection application as a solution. The focus of the activity was to design a backend system for centralized data management and storage. The methods used included observation, interviews, needs analysis, and system and database design. The design was tailored to the village's conditions to ensure optimal and sustainable implementation. The outcome is an application that enables population data to be managed more neatly, accurately, and accessibly. This system is expected to improve the work efficiency of village officials while minimizing data recording errors, as well as serving as an initial step in the implementation of information technology within the village environment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires students to have adequate digital literacy skills to face the challenges of the 21st century. However, many students still use technology only for entertainment and lack productive digital skills. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of MA NW Sepit students through graphic design training using Canva and simple video editing. The implementation method uses a participatory approach that actively involves students in the entire series of activities, from material delivery, demonstrations, hands-on practice, to mentoring. The training was conducted over three days with a focus on introducing Canva, creating visual designs, and the basics of video editing to produce creative and educational digital content. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' knowledge and skills in utilizing digital technology productively. Participants were able to use Canva's features to create posters, pamphlets, presentations, and other visual content, as well as understanding basic video editing techniques. In addition to improving technical skills, this activity also increased students' creativity, confidence, and motivation in producing digital works. The high enthusiasm and participation of participants during the training are indicators of the program's success. This activity demonstrates that graphic design and video editing training can be an effective strategy in supporting the strengthening of students' digital literacy in the school environment.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in promoting local economic independence by optimally utilizing village potential and good financial management can increase Village Original Income (PADes). However, in practice, BUMDes management still faces various challenges, such as limited Human Resources, lack of Innovation, and obstacles in Governance and Marketing aspects. The purpose of this Community Service implementation is to improve knowledge, abilities and skills in BUMDes management in Borok Toyang Village in online marketing, e-business education and direct assistance in the use of Accounting Software. The methods used include observation with descriptive analysis, training and assistance in conducting online marketing and preparing financial reports. The results of the study show improvements in financial management and online marketing. In addition, this activity also encourages community participation and the growth of trust in BUMDes as a collectively owned institution. Thus, this activity successfully contributes to the transformation of BUMDes into an accountable, independent and sustainable village economic institution

Abstract

Digital transformation among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) requires not only technological skills but also a shift in business actors’ perceptions of the importance of digitalization. This community service program aimed to improve the digital literacy of food and beverage MSME actors in Central Lombok Regency through training on digital content strategy, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance product visual quality, and the introduction of business digitalization through Google Maps and QRIS. The activity was conducted on May 5, 2026, at the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs of Central Lombok Regency, involving 25 MSME actors. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR), with process- and product-based evaluation. The results showed that more than 80% of participants were able to complete all practical training sessions. In addition to improving technical skills, the program also encouraged a change in participants’ perceptions of the relevance of digital platforms for micro-scale businesses. The use of AI in product visual editing further demonstrated the potential of generative technology as an affordable and practical promotional solution for MSMEs. Therefore, structured and participatory digital literacy training can serve as an empowerment strategy to strengthen MSMEs’ readiness for digital transformation

Abstract

Attendance recording is an important aspect in supporting administrative effectiveness and public services within village government institutions. However, conventional attendance systems still face several limitations, including recording errors, delayed data recapitulation, and difficulties in conducting real-time attendance monitoring. This community service activity aimed to implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based online attendance system at Perian Village Office, Montong Gading District, East Lombok Regency. The system was developed using an ESP32 microcontroller, a fingerprint sensor for user authentication, a Real Time Clock (RTC) module for timestamp recording, an OLED display for information output, and Google Sheets as a cloud-based data storage platform. The implementation method consisted of needs assessment, hardware and software design, system deployment, user training, testing, and system assistance. The results showed that the developed system was able to identify users through fingerprint authentication, automatically record attendance time, and transmit attendance data to Google Sheets in real time. All main system functions, including user enrollment, attendance recording, online data storage, and administrator management features, operated successfully according to user requirements. The implementation of this system improved the effectiveness of attendance management and supported the digital transformation of village administration through a more transparent, accurate, and efficient attendance recording process

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly influenced children’s lives, including elementary school students. However, the use of digital technology without adequate digital literacy understanding may lead to various problems, such as cyberbullying and cybersecurity threats. Low awareness of safe and responsible digital behavior makes students vulnerable to online harassment and cybercrime. This community service activity aimed to improve elementary school students’ understanding of cyberbullying and cybersecurity through an educational socialization program. The activity was conducted on December 16, 2025, at SDN 3 Kalijaga Timur, involving 52 fifth- and sixth-grade students. A qualitative approach was applied through interactive lectures, the use of visual media in the form of educational posters, and evaluation through quizzes. The results showed that students demonstrated high enthusiasm during the activity and were able to understand the delivered materials well. All students successfully answered the quiz questions correctly, indicating an improvement in their understanding of the dangers of cyberbullying and the importance of maintaining personal security in the digital environment. Therefore, this socialization activity is expected to help develop safe, ethi cal, and responsible digital behavior among students from an early age.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to be able to present information quickly, accurately, and transparently to the public to support professional village business management. BUMDes in Karang Baru Village still faces limitations in providing digital information, particularly regarding BUMDes profiles, business units, superior products, and business management activities. This community service activity aims to provide training and assistance in creating a website-based BUMDes profile information system as a medium for information and promotion of village businesses. The implementation method includes observation and analysis of BUMDes needs, system design, development of a BUMDes profile website, training system managers, and evaluation of activity results. This activity was carried out for three months as part of a community service program by students from Hamzanwadi University, involving BUMDes administrators and village officials. The results of the activity show that BUMDes Karang Baru Village has a profile website that contains institutional information, business units, products, activity news, and a documentation gallery. In addition, BUMDes administrators experienced an increase in understanding and skills in managing information systems independently. The conclusion of this activity is that training in creating a website-based BUMDes profile information system can increase information transparency, support village business promotion, and strengthen BUMDes governance in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires communities to have adequate technological literacy to be able to adapt to the demands of the digital era. However, rural communities still face limitations in utilizing information technology that is applicable and easy to implement. This community service activity aims to improve the technological literacy of the people of Kalijaga Tengah Village through training in the creation and operation of LED-based running text as a village information medium. This activity involved 25 participants consisting of village officials and the general public. The implementation method of the activity included preparation, socialization, practice-based training, evaluation, and follow-up. Evaluation was carried out through direct observation and a comparison of participants' levels of understanding before and after the training. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the functions, components, and operation of LED-based running text, with an average increase in understanding reaching more than 60%. This activity contributed to encouraging technological independence of village communities and the sustainable use of simple technology to support the effectiveness of village information dissemination.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology provides opportunities to increase the effectiveness and productivity of learning in the field of software engineering. However, some students still lack adequate knowledge and skills in utilizing AI applications to support the learning process of programming and software development. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of students of the Software Engineering Department of SMKN 3 Selong in using AI applications as learning aids and software development. The method used is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) which actively involves participants through material delivery, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and discussion sessions. The results of the activity show that participants are able to understand the basic concepts of AI and utilize various AI applications to help find programming solutions, create program codes, documentation, and design software. In addition, participants demonstrated improved skills in completing software development tasks more effectively and efficiently. This activity provides benefits in the form of increased technological literacy, learning productivity, and student readiness to face technological developments and the needs of the software industry that increasingly utilizes artificial intelligence.
