Abstract

Tulisan ini mengangkat soal kompetensi sosial guru. Kompetensi sosial guru adalah kemampuan guru sebagai bagian dari masyarakat. Kemampuan dalam berkomunikasi sosial dan bergaul secara efektif baik dengan peserta didik maupun dengan sesama teman guru, dengan kepala sekolah bahkan dengan masyarakat luas, dalam rangka pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Demi menghasilkan guru yang kompeten teristimewa kompetensi sosialnya, maka peranan Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK) sangat dibutuhkan.

Abstract

There is no Christian life without liturgy. Through liturgical activities, the faithful want to express their faith in God‟s saving presence through Jesus Christ. By his death and resurrection, Jesus Christ fulfilled God‟s design of salvation of human mankind. This work of salvation in Jesus Christ is now continued through liturgical celebrations; this is actualized by means of symbols. That means: God‟s saving activity, which is implemented in Jesus and which is celebrated in the liturgy, can only be understood and experienced, when it is being celebrated by means of symbols. Thus in liturgy, symbols play an important part; because it is from there that we can fully understand and experience all that is celebrated in the liturgy itself.

Abstract

This article wants to analyze concrete steps by which to discipline university teachers in performing their lessons. The central question which we will try to answer in this piece of writing is: “What efforts should be performed by the respective responsible in disciplining the teachers to execute their lessons?” Definite efforts to discipline teachers in executing their lessons is part of the important task of the basic governance of schools at university level in guiding and enhancing awareness and comprehensiveness of teachers‟ discipline in performing their lessons.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan upaya dialog keilmuan antara neuroscience dan filsafat. Menurut neuroscience seluruh alam pikiran manusia ditentukan oleh mekanisme internal otak. Tesis ini menantang pemikiran filsafat khususnya tentang masalah determinisme dan kebebebasan: apabila seluruh pemikiran ditentukan oleh mekanisme internal otak maka sebenarnya manusia tidak bebas dalam mengekplorasi alam pikirannya karena sejak awal telah ditentukan oleh proses mekanik internal tersebut. Menghadapi dilema tersebut, tulisan ini menawarkan komunikasi sebagai “prinsip ultim” bagi otak, pikiran dan praksis hidup manusia. Komunikasi bukan saja merupakan bagian sentral dari otak, melainkan juga merupakan “momentum pembebasan” bagi para filsuf dalam mengusahakan sebuah neurophilosophy yang berkualitas dan “momentum pencerahan” bagi masyarakat multikultural.

Abstract

Using filed study, I chose Lumefar village, a small village in the south of Kei Kecil Island. For the society of Lumefar, the most important relationship is the relationship by marriage (yan'ur-mang'ohoi). This relationship unites two Houses; and each House has several yan'ur- mang'ohoi relations with other Houses. But the ideal model of this relation has changed. In this paper, I intend to explain this metamorphosis. The society of Lumefar apparently has moved from the elementary structure of kinship to the complex structure of kinship.

Abstract

Makin meningkatnya persaingan profesionalisme dalam pendidikan, diperlukan kepribadian seseorang yang baik untuk menunjang keberhasilan menjadi tenaga pengajar atau guru. Untuk menghasilkan guru yang memiliki kepribadian yang baik maka peranan LPTK sangat dibutuhkan. Upaya LPTK dalam membentuk kompetensi kepribadian calon guru tentu menimbulkan pertanyaan: apakah dengan LPTK mampu membentuk kompetensi kepribadian calon guru?

Abstract

This article presents a discourse on oecumene which is not restricted to “ecclesiastical oecumene”, but which intends to submit its metamorphosis into “inter-religious oecumene”, as a result of the phenomenon of the outset of the awareness of global ecumenism. The basic supposition of the article is that the “Oecumene between Churches” now constitute a real meeting-point of “inter-religious oecumene” in the Moluccas, when based on global ethics. In this way, various religions can live and cooperate in a sincere way, in peace and free from any intimidation or coercion for the sake of universal humanism. This article is also meant to be a critical reflection on the Decree Unitatis Redintegratio from the viewpoint of christian ethics.

Abstract

Perkawinan Katolik merupakan kesepakatan antara seorang pria dan seorang wanita untuk membangun persekutuan hidup yang terarah pada kebahagian, prokreasi, dan pendidikan anak. Tulisan ini tidak sekedar memberikan pendasaran yuridis atas status perkawinan dalam Gereja Katolik, akan tetapi secara tegas menekankan efek dari sebuah perkawinan Katolik, sebagaimana termaksud dalam Kitab Hukum Kanonik 1134-1136. Efek dari perkawinan Katolik tidak lain adalah tanggung jawab suami-istri dalam membangun hidup berkeluarga yang bahagia.

Abstract

This article wants to emphasize that any church building is a home for the faithfull. A church should be a place where the faithful come together in order to listen to the word of God and to celebrate the memory of God’s wonderful work of salvation. A church building is essential to make the Church community as a temple of God visible in the factual world of human beings. To indicate how important the role of a church building, it must be ritually consecrated.

Abstract

The practice of abortion has a very ruinous impact for the woman in question, both physically and psychologically. Physically, abortion may cause serious damage to one’s health, even cause death. Psychologically, it may result in mental stress. According to the doctrine of the Catholic Church, abortion is a very grave misdemeanour, a sin, a transgression of God’s low. Anyone who commits abortion, automatically is penalized as is dictated in the Book of Canon Low 1983, can. 1329 and 1398. Those who effectively perform abortion, are automatically excommunicated, but those who remorsefully confess their wrongdoing, will always be welcomed back into the Church.
