Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Kampus Mengajar Program in enhancing elementary school students' learning motivation in rural areas, with a case study at SD 040443 Kabanjahe. The program is part of the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, which involves university students as assistant teachers in schools facing limited educational resources. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest design), involving 94 students as respondents. The analysis results showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation scores from a pretest average of 64.37 to a posttest average of 81.35, with a p-value < 0.05 in the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test and an effect size of 0.88, indicating a large effect. Additionally, observations and interviews revealed increased student participation, interest, and confidence in learning. These findings suggest that the Kampus Mengajar Program is effective in creating a learning environment that supports students’ intrinsic motivation and is relevant as a community-based educational intervention model that can be applied in various global contexts facing similar educational challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the importance of the integration of philosophy in the national education curriculum, focusing on its contribution in shaping a more holistic and character-building oriented education. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical approach to library research, analyzing literature from figures in the philosophy of education such as John Dewey, Paulo Freire, and Syed Naquib al-Attas, as well as global education policy reports. The findings of this study show that philosophy has an important role in directing the educational curriculum, not only in the development of cognitive competence, but also in the formation of students' morals and ethics. This study found that the integration of philosophy in the curriculum can overcome the problem of fragmentation of values and the inalignment of educational goals with social realities. The results of this study underscore the need for a more critical, reflective and value-based approach to the curriculum, which not only meets the demands of the job market, but also shapes socially responsible and ethical individuals. This research makes a significant contribution to educational reform by providing a theoretical basis for the development of a curriculum that is more comprehensive and relevant to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of students' understanding of Pancasila values on their tolerance behavior at SMK Islam Kanigoro. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed, involving 100 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that assessed both the understanding of Pancasila values and tolerance behavior. The results of the validity test revealed that only one item was valid for measuring Pancasila understanding, while others required revision. The correlation analysis showed a significant positive relationship between understanding Pancasila values and tolerance behavior (r = 0.286, p = 0.004). However, the simple linear regression analysis indicated that understanding Pancasila only explained 8.2% of the variance in students' tolerance behavior. These findings suggest that while Pancasila education plays a role in fostering tolerance, other factors may also influence tolerance behavior. This research highlights the importance of refining educational instruments and suggests that future studies should explore additional variables that may contribute to tolerance. The study emphasizes the need for more comprehensive and interactive civic education programs to cultivate tolerance in diverse societal contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to improve science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes through the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model assisted by Wordwall media for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Cipanjar Kabupaten Sumedang. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were 20 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through teacher and student observation sheets as well as learning achievement tests administered at the end of each cycle. The results showed significant improvements in all observed aspects. Teacher performance increased from 57.5% (poor category) in cycle I to 70% (fair category) in cycle II. Student activity improved from 45% (very poor category) in cycle I to 75% (good category) in cycle II. Students’ mastery learning also increased from 45% in cycle I to 75% in cycle II. Thus, the application of the NHT cooperative model assisted by Wordwall was proven effective in enhancing both student engagement and IPAS learning outcomes. This study implies that teachers can utilize a combination of cooperative learning strategies and interactive digital media to create more meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of religious moderation values in improving the community’s economy in Pontianak City. Religious moderation encompasses tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), ta’awun (cooperation), and i’tidal (justice), which are believed to foster social harmony and promote economic productivity. The research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive–correlational method. The population consists of active economic actors in Pontianak, with a sample of 385 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, interviews, and secondary documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results indicate that religious moderation is at a high level (mean score = 4.23), while community economic improvement is also high (mean score = 4.11). Regression analysis shows a positive and significant relationship, with R² = 0.451 and the equation Y = 1.247 + 0.689X, indicating that the internalization of religious moderation values explains 45.1% of the variation in community economic improvement. This study concludes that religious moderation plays a vital role in promoting an inclusive, ethical, and sustainable community-based economy. Practically, the findings provide a basis for local economic development policies, while theoretically, they enrich interdisciplinary studies linking economics, society, and religion.

Abstract

This study presents the first comprehensive Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on the integration of Serang culture into elementary school education during the 2020–2025 period. Twenty relevant studies were identified from databases such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and institutional repositories. The findings indicate that Serang cultural elements—such as debus, rudat, the Serang–Banten dialect, and marhabanan—have been incorporated through local content curricula, extracurricular programs, and thematic learning. These integrations help preserve local wisdom while enhancing students’ character, cultural identity, and literacy in alignment with the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Successful implementation depends on teacher creativity, community involvement, and government support, supported by digital and contextual learning media like culture-based e-modules and E-LKPD. Nevertheless, challenges persist, including limited standardized materials, uneven teacher competencies, and the absence of long-term evaluation. Overall, this review highlights the potential of Serang culture integration as a sustainable model for strengthening holistic, character-based education in Indonesian elementary schools.

Abstract

Online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers are part of the rapidly growing informal sector within the digital economy but continue to face high occupational safety and health (OSH) risks without adequate protection. This study aims to analyze the level of occupational safety risk among ojol drivers and formulate relevant OSH policy recommendations for the non-formal sector. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach involving 100 ojol drivers in Pontianak City. Data were collected through questionnaires and structured interviews and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that 65% of workers experience work fatigue, 42% have been involved in minor accidents, and 18% have suffered moderate to severe accidents. The main risk factors include long working hours, pressure from incentive systems, and congested traffic conditions. These findings indicate the urgent need for OSH policies that encompass the non-formal, platform-based sector. The study contributes theoretically to the development of adaptive OSH models in the era of the gig economy while offering practical recommendations for both government and platform providers to enhance occupational safety and improve the well-being of ojol drivers.
