Abstract

The impact of earthquakes and floods in the Kulawi, Central  Sulawesi district informed the choice of research location. The primary feature of this research site is the general lack of community readiness for local calamities. This study aims to assess the degree of community readiness for earthquake disasters using the Spatial Approach, which provides a succinct and precise description  of the entire study. Spatially-based quantitative descriptive method. use the CVR (Content Validity Ratio) approach to assess the questionnaire's validity and the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The community's comprehension of the spatial approach that exists in the surrounding environment and is connected to the possibility of disaster as both a risk component and a vulnerability factor is the unresolved issue. Thus, the community needs to imitate obtaining progressively greater knowledge about disasters. Despite the most weight (25), earthquake-resistant infrastructure highlights the significance of high-quality building construction and the presence of emergency facilities to lower the danger of damage and casualties. The requirement for training and simulations to improve the community's comprehension of preparedness measures is shown by the 20-point weight assigned to mitigation and community awareness. With a weight of 20, the Early Warning System emphasises the efficiency and dissemination of information to provide the public adequate time to take action before a crisis strikes. With a weight of 15, coordination and rapid response help to speed up disaster management by fostering agency collaboration and prompt action. On the other hand, logistics readiness, which has a weight of 10, places a strong emphasis on having emergency supplies like food and water.

Abstract

The aim of this reseach are: (1) To describe the use of geospatial information in improving the skills of students in making maps, (2) To improve the skills of students in making maps. This class action research uses two cycles with research subjects in class XI IPS 4 at SMAN 1 Purwantoro academic year 2018/2019. The indicator of success in this study is the classical completeness of students above 70% and there is an increase in student learning outcomes. The results of this study are (1) Utilization of geospatial information in improving map-making skills through several stages, namely introduction, gathering geospatial information, making maps, presentations, closing. (2) Utilization of geospatial information on geographic subjects can improve students' skills in making maps. Improvement of student learning outcomes is reflected in the percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle of 57.69% and in the second cycle rose to 88.46%. While the average value in classical in the first cycle of 69.82 rose to 82.38 in cycle 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) teacher's level of understanding of maritime material, (2) the ability of teachers in the preparation of maritime learning media, (3) student acceptance of maritime learning. This type of research is qualitative with the research method used is the sample survey method. The study population was all Social Sciences Junior High School Teachers in Surakarta. Samples were taken at random as many as 36 ips teachers both from public and private junior high schools in Surakarta. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and documentation. Based on research results obtained by the level of understanding of maritime teachers as much as 79% are at a medium level, as well as the level of teacher's ability to make maritime learning media as much as 61% are in the medium level so that student acceptance of maritime learning as much as 66% is in the medium level.

Abstract

The research aims at analyzing the needs of children friendly schools in implementing local culture based character education to realize good social environment based on Javanese cultural character and producing the model of developing local culture based character education to realize good social environment. The methods of collecting the data are interview, survey, observation, and documentation. The technique in analyzing the data is research and development model. The researcher would like to describe the research result during the 1st year in Surakarta City Central Java Indonesia. The research findings show that the needs of children friendly schools in implementing local culture based character education are persistent guidance and assistance for students to create and practice local culture, workshops and seminars for students and teachers in training to preserve local culture, the needs to complete the model for children friendly school that contains benefits, purposes, materials, and technical activities. The conclusion of the research is that the needs of children friendly city in implementing local culture are compulsory to realize social environment based on Javanese culture and to support the implementation of the model for children friendly city.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui; Mengetahui potensi ekowisata yang terdapat di Kabupaten Bima, Menganalisis tingkat persepsi wisatawan dan peranserta masyarakat terhadap pengembangan ekowisata khususnya aspek ekonomi dan lingkungan, Merumuskan arahan pengelolaan dan strategi pengembangan ekowisata yang sesuai dengan potensi yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan spasial.Satuan analisis yang digunakan adalah potensi ekowisata pada bentuklahan.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ekowisata di Kabupaten Bima yang berjumlah 18 obyek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa; Ekowisata di Kabupaten Bima berjumlah 18 obyek yang tersebar di 2 bentuklahan, yang meliputi bentuklahan vulkanik, dan bentuklaham marin. Bentuklahan vulkanik memiliki 9 obyek, dan bentuklahan marin sebanyak 9obyek;(2) Sebagian besar ekowisata di Kabupaten Bima memiliki potensi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Ada 7 obyek atau sebesar 40% obyek dengan potensi tinggi, 9 obyek atau sebesar 50% obyek wisata dengan potensi sedang dan 2 obyek atau sebesar 10% obyek wisata dengan potensi rendah.; (3) Arahan pengelolaan dan strategi pengembangan ekowisata di Kabupaten Bima dapat disimpulkan menjadi tiga strategi pengembangan yaitu : (a) Mencapai pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pariwisata (b) Melengkapi dan memperbaiki infrastruktur, fasilitas sarana dan prasarana ekowisata serta peningkatan sumberdaya manusia (d) Memajukan dan mengembangkan ekowisata yang berwawasanlingkungan dengan tetap berpedoman pada prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan dan konservasi.Kata Kunci: pengembangan potensi ekowisata

Abstract

The research aims to determine the environmental care attitude in Senior High School 1 Kayen. The research samples were the tenth-grade students, eleventh-grade students, and third-grade students of Social Science (IPS) class at Senior High School 1 Kayen. The research used Slovin formula to obtain 192 samples from the tenth grade, eleventh grade, and twelfth grade. The study used a random sampling technique. Questionnaires were used as the data collection techniques to measure knowledge about environmental care attitudes using calculation techniques of Likert scale and percentage formula. The result shows the students in Senior High have the moderate category on environmental care attitude, with a total frequency of 89 students consisting of tenth-grade students, eleventh-grade students, and twelfth-grade students in Social Science (IPS) class with a percentage score of 46,35%. In an attempt to increase students’ environmental care, we suggest several educational agents, such as Educational supervisors, Principals, and Teachers give the students examples of good actions to the environment in daily routine.

Abstract

Latar Belakang penelitian ini adalah seiring dengan perkembangan zaman proses pembelajaran saat ini memerlukan sebuah strategi belajar mengajar baru yang lebih menekankan pada partisipasi siswa (student oriented). Maka diperlukan model pembelajran yang inovatif dan menyenangkan dimana siswa dituntut untuk belajar secara mandiri serta mampu mengkonstruksi kognitifnya, hingga mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar Geografi. Tujuan Penelitian : (1) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar Geografi antara siswa yang diberi Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran STAD, (2) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar Geografi antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dengan siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, (3) Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya interaksi pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar Geografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negri 1 Jatinom Klaten Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negri 1 Jatinom Klaten, dari populasi tersebut diambil 68 siswa sebagai sampel, yang terdiri dari 34 siswa kelas VIII-G sebagai kelas eksperimen-1 diberi pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dan kelas VIII-F sebanyak 34 siswa sebagai eksperimen-2 diberi pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Teknik analisis data digunakan Analisis variansi dua jalan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) penerapan model pembelajaran STAD dan Jigsaw terdapat perbedaan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan diperoleh F observasi = 43.956 hasil perhitungan ini kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel F dan taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh F tabel = 3.991, karena F observasi > F tabel atau 43.956 > 3.991 maka H0 ditolak, 2) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan diperoleh F observasi = 6.324 hasil perhitungan ini kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel F dan taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh F tabel = 3.991, karena F observasi > F tabel atau 6.324 > 3.991 maka H0 ditolak, 3) terdapat interaksi antara penerapan model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar, dengan diperoleh F observasi = 4.234 hasil perhitungan ini kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel F dan taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh F tabel = 3.991, karena F observasi > F tabel atau 4.234 > 3.991 maka H0 ditolak. Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran Jigsaw dan STAD, motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Health Social Security Agency or Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJSK) is a health to make people pays inexpensive price to get medical treatment. One of the shortcomings of BPJSK is regency of BPJSK card owner must be identical with the regency of target hospital. Lampung Province has varying location and uneven distribution of hospitals especially in regencies. This study aims to determine location with lack of hospital with BPJSK by using of n-dimensional Euclidean distance. The three-dimensional coordinate of 2098 sample points (SP) and 77 hospitals are the quantitative parameter used to calculate the distance. Every hospital and SP are assigned an identity number depending on the regency of each hospital and SP. Each SP pairs with its closest hospital. The SP with different identity is grouped. 32.1% of area of Lampung Province is the location with lack of hospital with BPJSK. The most prioritized regencies is Pringsewu Regency based on the distance and the population. Further research about spatial analyzing the exact location to build hospital with BPJSK service should be conducted.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1. Bagaimana pengaruh kondisi internal individual siswa terhadap motivasi siswa melanjutkan sekolah, 2. Bagaimana pengaruh aksesibilitas siswa SMP Negeri 3 kradenan terhadap motivasi siswa melanjutkan sekolah. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP di Kabupaten Grobogan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi sebagai analisis statistik inferensial. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh langsung melalui kuesioner. Sedangkan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probabiliti sampling. Analisis ANOVA data dilakukan untuk menentukan apakah hubungan antara variabel signifikan secara statistik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan kesimpulan pengujian hipotesis, maka penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1. Kondisi internal individual memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan siswa melanjutkan sekolah. 2. Aksesibilitas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan siswa melanjutkan sekolah.Kata Kunci: Aksesibilitas, Motivasi, Prestasi Akademik, Keputusan Melanjutkan Sekolah.

Abstract

21st Century learning skills are essential. In the revision of the 2013 curriculum in 2017, it has been explicitly stated that 21st-century skills introduced with the term 4 C (Critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, communication skills and collaboration skills) are used as an orientation in learning at school. To improve students' 21st Century Skills in Social Studies learning, a learning model called the LIGEKA_21 was developed. The results of his research show that the use of the LIGEKA_21 model can significantly improve 21st-century skills (4C) for both students in the high school group and the middle and lower group schools. Prominent results include high enthusiasm for learning, active and creativity in producing learning outputs, posters of critical and creative teaching materials, poetry based on social studies teaching materials, high mastery of social studies knowledge, development of communication skills and skills and collaboration. The results of this good research need to be developed more broadly, not only in junior high schools but also need to be developed in senior high schools. Good learning outcomes implemented using face-to-face (offline) patterns are not necessarily suitable in the Covid-19 era, which are carried out with online learning patterns, so they must be developed or adapted based on e-learning. Based on these conditions, this research will develop an online learning pattern based on the LIGEKA 21 model, which will then be compared with the LIGEKA_21 model with face-to-face (offline) learning patterns in high school.
