Abstract

Financial performance is a formal effort to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the company in generating a certain profit and cash position. By measuring financial performance, it can be seen the prospects for the growth and development of the company's finances. The company is said to be successful if the company has achieved a certain predetermined performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the financial performance of Bukopin Syariah Bank and Victoria Syariah Bank based on the ratio of liquidity, solvency, profitability, and activity in 2015 to 2019. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection techniques are by using documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the financial performance based on liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, and activity ratios in 2015-2019 Bank Victoria Syariah Bukopin is better than the financial performance of Bank Syariah Bukopin. Although based on the profitability ratios of Bank Syariah Bukopin and Bank Victoria Syariah, they are still categorized as unhealthy. However, based on the 2015-2019 profitability ratios, Bank Syariah Bukopin has better financial performance compared to the profitability ratios of Bank Victoria Syariah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2021. Analysis of the data used is quantitative analysis using financial ratios, namely liquidity ratios, solvability ratios and profitability ratios.The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 2021. The sample used in this study is a manufacturing company in the consumer goods industry sector which is included in the LQ45 category. The results showed that the best financial performance in terms of company liquidity was PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT Gudang Garam Tbk. The best financial performance in terms of Debt to equity ratio is PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, PT Gudang Garam Tbk, PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk and PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of leadership style on employee morale, the influence of the work environment on employee morale, and the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee morale of PT. Sri Aneka Karyatama Palembang. The research sample is all permanent employees of PT. Sri Aneka Karyatama Palembang. The variables of this study are leadership style (X₁ ), work environment (X₂ ), and employee morale (Y). The data used are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques are questionnaires and documents. The data is analyzed using quantitative analysis and the analysis tool uses SPSS Version 16. The results shows that leadership style variables (X₁ ) and work environment (X₂ ) significantly affected work morale (Y). The magnitude of the effect of independent variables with the dependent variable in this study is indicated by the value of R Square of 45% and Adj. R Square by 41%. Other influences beyond the variables studied or called error (e) are of 55%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant and positive influence between leadership style and work environment on employee morale at PT. Sri Aneka Karyatama Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the choice of accountant profession from the perceptions of accounting students in Palembang. The sampling used convenience sampling, with a total of 358 accounting student respondents from 8 universities in the city of Palembang in 2019. The variables that are thought to affect the career choices of accountants from accounting students in Palembang are variables of Gender, Previous School, Degree of Study in University, and Occupation. Meanwhile, the reasons that are thought to be the background of the choice of the accounting profession by students include financial / income awards, career opportunities, job market opportunities, social values, and job flexibility. The dependent variable is the choice of the accounting profession, including Public Accountants, Internal Accountants, Government Accountants, and Educating Accountants. Hypothesis testing uses Chi-Square analysis and ranking. The results of the analysis show that the most chosen professions are Corporate Internal Accountants, Public Accountants, Government Accountants, and Educator Accountants in the last position. Only the Degree of Study in University and Occupation variables differ significantly in the choice of accountant profession, while the variables of Gender and School Origin are not significantly different in the choice of accountant profession. The reasons behind the choice of accountant career by accounting students are mainly the reasons for income, career opportunities, job market opportunities, job flexibility, and social values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementation of occupational health and safety on employee work productivity in the Oil and Gas Business Unit of PT Sarana Pembangunan Palembang Jaya in Palembang. The population in this study are all employees in the Oil and Gas Business Unit of PT. Sarana Pembangunan Palembang Jaya, i.e. 47 people. The sample uses Isaac and Michael table formula with an error rate of 5%, the sample taken is 40 employees. The analytical method used is Product Moment Correlation analysis and multiple correlation. The results of testing the hypothesis show that there is a significant and positive effect between Work Safety on Employee Work Productivity, then there is a significant and positive effect between Occupational Health on Work Productivity, and Occupational health and safety have a positive and significant effect on the Employee Work Productivity variable. Suggestions from the author to PT. Sarana Pembangunan Palembang Jaya, Oil and Gas Business Unit on work safety, it is preferably that workers must comply with the working procedure and is expected to workers use safety equipment at work such as mask to protect the respiratory organs in order to avoid dust, helmet safety to protect in order to avoid falling items, safety shoes to protect the feet from sharp objects and others. With the PPE, employees can work safely and avoid work accidents in order to increase work productivity. In occupational health, first aid is provided, such as plaster for wounds, iodine, bandages and others.

Abstract

Nyenyes t-shirt shop Palembang is one of many souvenir shops in Palembang which is in generally the customers are from every level of society starting from Palembang residents and tourists visiting Palembang. Nyenyes t-shirt shop itself has many funny, unique designs and makes visitors who visit the shop laugh because the design images cover the typical Empek-empek city such as the names of food, tourist attractions, and words that are often spoken by the people of Palembang themselves make Nyenyes t-shirt shop known by the people from and Outside Palembang. The research problem in this study is how much theeffect of service quality on customer satisfaction. The purpose is to determine the effect of Service Quality Effect on Customer Satisfaction. The samples are 50 visitors who came to Nyenyes t-shirt shop. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews and questionnaires. Based on the research results, there is effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Nyenyes T-shirt shop in Palembang, the sig t is 0.000 <0.05. The simple linear regression equation is Y = 15,974 + 0,321X + e. The coefficient of determination Rsquare is 0.720. These results indicate that service quality has an effect on customer satisfaction at Nyenyes t-shirt shop Palembang by 72%, while the remaining 28% is explained by other variables outside of this research.

Abstract

PT. Sinar Makmur Palembang is a company engaged in the trading of goods and services that must be able to properly carry out financial policies to carry out company operations. companies acquired over several periods with the help of financial statement analysis tools, namely vertical and horizontal analysis. Research results obtained from data analysis that have been carried out on the financial statements of profit and loss and balance sheet for 4 periods, namely from 2013-2016, based on horizontal analysis on the income statement of PT. Sinar Makmur Palembang, it can be seen that there is fluctuation in the company's operating income. Information on this fluctuation is important for management in the decision to predict the company's capacity to produce existing resources, while in the profit and loss statement and balance sheet of PT. Sinar Makmur Palembang as a whole tends not to be optimal where there are still fluctuating estimates.

Abstract

This study aims to prove whether intellectual capital affects the financial performance of the food and beverages companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this research are food and beverages companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange on the years of 2016-2018 or during observation period. Samples are taken by using the purposive sampling technique which resulted in 13 companies as samples, and 56 firm years in total. The independent variable is intellectual capital measured by VAIC, while the dependent variable is financial performance measured by ROA. The hypothesis is tested by using simple regression analysis. The result shows that intellectual capital cannot be a predictor of financial performance in food and beverages companies listed in IDX. It can be concluded that some companies cannot manage their asset in optimal manner. This is causing an inability to create the competitive advantage which is important to increase companies’ financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of marketing mix on increasing the insurance premium at PT Asuransi Reliance Palembang. The marketing strategy used by the company has not maximized, it can be seen from the insurance premium sales which not reached the sales target. The samples in this study were the insurance customers of PT Asuransi Reliance Palembang as many as 72 respondents. The Method used in taking the sample was simple random sampling by using Slovin formula. The analytical method is descriptive qualitative analysis using simple linear regression formula with SPSS program. The results of testing the hypothesis showed that variable X (marketing strategy) has an efeect on variable Y (sale), i.e. variable in marketing mix (β) of 0,363 means that every 1 unit increase in marketing mix will increase sales of 0.363 and the results of hypothesis testing with t-test indicate that there is a significant influence between marketing mix on increasing sales insurance premium at PT. Reliance Palembang Insurance. Based on the marking mix variable, lack of promotion causes the sales target not achieved thus promotional services to customers must be improved so that insurance products can be more recognized and improve the relationship with the cooperative parties to create better service efforts. Providing higher insurance premium discounts and not detrimental to the company can be done to attract customers so that the expected target company sales can be achieved.

Abstract

The results showed that the implementation of the internal control system on the performance of the Palembang City Transportation Service was categorized as quite effective, because it was in accordance with Government Regulation Number 60 of 2008 concerning the Government's Internal Control System (SPIP). The implementation of the Internal Control System on the procedure for receiving parking fees at the Palembang City Transportation Service has not been effective because there are no procedures and direct supervision of parking attendants and parking collectors so that they are prone to deviations which indicate that retribution receipts do not reach the target. The implementation of the Internal Control System for the previous year's realization was categorized as quite effective because it was above half of the target. Meanwhile, the realization of the last year experienced a drastic decline below half the target, so it was categorized as ineffective. This means that the receipt of parking fees on the edge of public roads is categorized as ineffective because it is far from the predetermined target.
