Abstract

One of the factors that influences students' learning motivation is the use of appropriate learning media by teachers because media is a tool to convey the message of the material being taught. This research aims to analyze the effects of using multimedia in the learning process in elementary schools. This research uses quantitative methods with a classroom action research approach. Data sources were taken using questionnaires and oral tests from twenty-one students from one of the elementary schools in Indonesia. All data were analyzed using SPSS 18 software with descriptive analysis (percent). Overall statistical analysis shows that the use of the model Picture and Picture in social learning has shown encouraging results. This fact can be seen from the increase in students' pre-test and post-test scores which were carried out through two learning cycles. Even students show positive learning attitudes such as being happy, enthusiastic, and always active in learning. Therefore, pictures and pictures are one of the alternatives that teachers can use as a solution for social learning which has been considered boring and students get bored quickly.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of teacher learning through the use of multimedia by implementing workshop activities in the school environment. Modern education demands the use of technology in the teaching and learning process, and multimedia is an effective tool for improving the quality of learning. Workshops are considered a training method that can provide teachers with new knowledge and skills in using multimedia effectively. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with a cycle of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research participants consisted of teachers at schools who were willing to take part in workshop activities. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and assessment of learning outcomes. The research results show a significant increase in teachers' ability to use multimedia in learning. The workshop provided new insights and increased teachers' confidence in integrating multimedia technology into their teaching. In addition, increased student engagement and motivation were also seen during the implementation of multimedia. Thus, this research presents recommendations for involving regular workshop activities as a sustainable strategy for improving the quality of teacher learning by utilizing multimedia in the school environment. The conclusions of this research provide a positive picture of the role of workshops in supporting the development of teachers' multimedia skills to achieve more innovative and interactive learning in the era of digital education.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is an inevitable challenge in the development of society. One approach to achieving this is by implementing innovative learning models. This research aims to investigate the implementation of the Course Review Horay Learning Model in Elementary Schools as an effort to improve educational practices. The research method used is classroom action research involving teachers and students in the learning change process. Over several cycles, data was collected through classroom observations, interviews, and student performance assessments. The course review model is applied with a focus on providing constructive feedback, collaboration between students, and the use of technology in learning. The research results showed a significant increase in student participation, concept understanding, and learning motivation. Teachers reported positive changes in classroom dynamics, increased student engagement, and implementation of more interactive learning strategies. Technological support in implementing the course review horay also makes a positive contribution to learning efficiency. This research provides new insights regarding the potential of the Course Review Horay Learning Model as an effective tool for overcoming challenges in learning in elementary schools. Practical implications and recommendations for further development are also discussed to create an educational environment that is progressive and responsive to the needs of today's students.

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools in Indonesia is carried out thematically, where all subjects are carried out based on the same theme. However, there are many obstacles found in implementing this thematic learning. This research aims to determine the improvement in student thematic learning outcomes in one of the elementary schools in Indonesia. This classroom action research has four components, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. Data collection uses formative test instruments, observation sheets, and field notes. Data analysis uses comparative descriptive techniques. The research subjects were grade 1 elementary school students. The results of the research show that there is an increase in the percentage of student learning activities in each cycle so that the completeness of students' thematic learning outcomes increases. Based on the results of this research, the literacy-based Peer Tutor learning model can improve student thematic learning outcomes.

Abstract

Science learning is an important foundation in students' intellectual development and analytical abilities. However, students often feel bored and lose interest in science learning. This research aims to analyze the effects of using project-based learning in elementary schools. This research uses the method quantitative with a classroom action research approach. Data sources were taken using questionnaires and written tests from twenty-eight students in one elementary school in Indonesia. All data were analyzed using SPSS 18 software with descriptive analysis (percent). The results of statistical analysis show that the use of the project-based learning model has a positive effect on student attitudes and learning outcomes. This fact can be seen from changes in students' attitudes who are more active in learning, have greater curiosity than usual, and do not get bored quickly in learning. This fact is also supported by an increase in student learning outcomes from pre-cycle, cycle one, and cycle two. Therefore, implementing the project-based learning model is an alternative solution that teachers can use in science learning which has been considered difficult and boring.
