Abstract

Tourism villages present in the tourism system in supporting the concept of community-based tourism. One of the new tourist villages in West Manggarai is Coal Bu Porong Village, which was built on the creativity of porong hill youth. The purpose of this study is to find out the facilities and infrastructure available in Bukit Porong and to find out the perceptions of visitors about the facilities and infrastructure supporting the Bukit Porong tourist village. This study uses a qualitative approach to determine the variables of facilities and infrastructure such as objects, access, accommodation, facilities, transportation, food and drink services, recreational activities, shopping, communication, banking system, health, security, hygiene, worship facilities. The data collected was obtained from interviews, observations and documentation, where the number of respondents were 20 people consisting of pokdarwis groups, communities, village heads, visitors, tourism offices. The results of this study show that the facilities and infrastructure available in Bukit Porong such as natural attractions, artificial attractions, cultural attractions, homestays, access, information officers, local snacks of Bukit Porong, various recreational activities, places of purchase, communication facilities, cleaning facilities that are considered quite adequate because they are suppoerted by local communities, variables of facilities and infrastructure such as natural attractions and facilities Communication has met the perceptions or criteria of visitors, but still found the criteria of Objects (cultural, artificial), Access, Accommodation, Transportation, Food and beverage services, Recreational activities, shopping, communication, health, security, hygiene, worship facilities, sports facilities and educational facilities that are still considered lack of attention by visitors so that further handling is needed by porong hill managers to tourists' perceptions of facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to find out the types of complaints that occur at Sangkar Lobster Restaurant, Loccal Collection Hotel and 2) to find out the role of a waitress in handling guest complaints at Sangkar Lobster Restaurant, Loccal Collection Hotel. The research design of this study is descriptive qualitative method. The data are obtained by three techniques of data collections. Those are interview, observation, and direct documentation. The result of the research shows that there are three types of guest complaints including service-related complaints, mechanical complaints, and attitudinal complaints. The handling of guest complaints by waiters at the Sangkar Lobster Restaurant, Loccal Collection Hotel is carried out using the HEAT method. This method stands for Hear, Empathize, Apologize, and Take proper action. Keywords: Waiter, Guest Complaints

Abstract

The author is motivated to write about the role of the Section Logistic Accounting Department in supporting operational smoothness at Luwansa Beach Resort because of the difficulties he frequently encounters while carrying out field work practices in the logistics section in procuring goods to support smooth operations at Luwansa Beach Resort. The role of the logistics department is very influential in the smooth running of operations, where the logistics section purchases goods for each department that requires goods receipt and checking, storage, payment, and cost reduction so that cost overruns do not occur, which can cause losses. The research method used was qualitative, involving conducting interviews, observing, and documenting informants at Luwansa Beach Resort in the accounting department and several departments that order goods in the logistics section, namely the food and beverage department, the housekeeping department, and the engineering department. Data analysis techniques by doing data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the role of the logistics accounting department section is very good in supporting smooth operations at Luwansa Beach Resort.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assess the readiness of human resources in order to support the development of the tourism industry in the super premium destination Labuan Bajo and the quality of the resources needed to support the development of the tourism industry. This research uses a qualitative research design by conducting oral and written interviews with leaders of tourism actors, leaders in government agencies and communities in Labuan Bajo. The results of this research are that human resources in Labuan Bajo must be continuously improved so that they can be more ready to work in the tourism industry. Besides that, it is also important to improve the quality of service with the principles of excellent service so that the tourism industry in Labuan Bajo can have a positive impact on the development and welfare of the community.

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata memiliki kontribusi penting terhadap kualitas ekonomi nasional. Salah satu sektor penting dalam pariwisata adalah tujuan wisata budaya. Salah satu tujuan wisata budaya adalah Wae Rebo. Wae Rebo memiliki daya tarik yang memikat hati para wisatawan, baik asing maupun lokal. Wae Rebo dikenal karena budaya, sejarah, dan keindahan alamnya yang unik. Bangunan rumah tradisional dengan jalur pelacakan yang menarik wisatawan adalah titik penjualan tujuan Wae Rebo. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan interkoneksi antara aksesibilitas dan kualitas layanan pada kepuasan wisatawan mengunjungi desa wisata Wae Rebo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tautan kuesioner dalam bentuk formulir Google untuk 99 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan pengambilan sampel purposive.Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara aksesibilitas dan kepuasan wisatawan, hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas layanan dan kepuasan wisatawan, dan ada pengaruh dominan kualitas layanan pada kepuasan wisatawan. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan pariwisata budaya sehingga selalu berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan nilai kebijaksanaan lokal dan menjadi salah satu referensi bagi wisatawan untuk dikunjungi.Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan pariwisata budaya sehingga selalu berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan nilai kebijaksanaan lokal dan menjadi salah satu referensi bagi wisatawan untuk dikunjungi.Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan wisata budaya sehingga selalu berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan nilai kebijaksanaan lokal dan menjadi salah satu referensi bagi wisatawan untuk dikunjungi.

Abstract

Desa Wae Lolos memiliki potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan. Namun, terdapat kendala dalam pengembangannya, seperti pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM). Pendekatan dalam merancang program pengembangan SDM adalah dengan metode Appreciative Participatory Planning and Action. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia berbasis produk wisata yang dirancang berdasarkan potensinya. Dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini digunakan wawancara, dimana Pokdarwis dijadikan sebagai sumber dan teknik observasi. Pada tahap penemuan diketahui bahwa Desa Wae Lolos memiliki tiga potensi wisata, yaitu 1) wisata alam, seperti air terjun, pemandian air panas, dan persawahan; 2) wisata budaya, seperti tarian tradisional dan berbagai upacara; dan 3) produk cinderamata masyarakat, seperti sambal kemiri dan topi re'a. Kemudian pada tahap mimpi, Kelompok Sadar Wisata Ceriah telah menetapkan visi yaitu Desa Wisata unggulan berbasis wisata alam dan budaya lokal, berorientasi pada pemberdayaan masyarakat dan mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pada tahap perancangan dapat dirancang enam produk berdasarkan potensi yang ada yaitu 1) birdwatching, 2) waterfall trekking, 3) mandi di mata air Wae Kolang, 4) produk kemiri kemiri, 5) produk herbal temulawak, dan 6) topi re’a. Pelatihan dan pendampingan Pokdarwis Ceriah sangat penting untuk menyediakan layanan dan produk pariwisata yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Abstrak Kajian ini adalah studi kasus di Restoran Senja Eatery Kota Labuan Baja Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Fokus bahasan menganalisis tentang keunggulan restoran ini sebagai strategi agar bisnis terus berkelanjutan. Melalui kajian secara kualitatif menemukan bahwa terdapat 6 (enam) keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh restoran ini yang menjadi strategi membangun kepercayaan kepada pelanggan, sehingga bisnis restoran ini dapat berkelanjutan. Secara fakta, restoran ini baru mulai beroperasi sejak 3 Nopember 2022, sehingga belum genap satu tahun dan itulah menjadi alasan utama melakukan kajian di restoran ini. Kata kunci: Restoran, Strategi, Bisnis Berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the usability of a system using two methods, RTA (Retrospective Think Aloud) and SUS (System Usability Scale). An object used in this research was shazam. The subject were 5 people, who are smartphone users in the age range of 10 to 50 years old. Finally, in this research RTA method showed that the shazam application is effective with a completion rate of 94.3% and efficient with a time-based efficiency of 0.108 task/second. While SUS showed that Shazam is still categorized as a class B application.

Abstract

Tourism has become an economic sector that contributes to the country. Labuan Bajo is currently one of the primadonna of new tourism in Indonesia where the main focus of consumers is foreign tourists. With the development of tourism like that, tourism seems to provide small benefit to the local community. Therefore, the current focus is how to build a relationship between tourism and local industry. This study analyzes the proportion of purchasing hotel products from MSMEs and also the economic opportunities available to MSMEs in the hotel industry in Labuan Bajo. The data is obtained from a survey conducted at 12 hotels to find out what opportunities have the most potential to be able to form cooperation between MSMEs and the hotel sector. From the analysis, it was found that the most potential cooperation is in the field of waste transportation, food supply, souvenirs as well as services related to maintenance and repair. This can have implications for the role of tourism to the growth of the local industry followed by an increase in the economy in the local community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembangungan desa di Kabupaten Manggarai Barat melalui peningkatan sumber daya manusia. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan informan-informan kunci adalah pemangku kepentingan terkait, yakni akademisi, pelaku usaha dan industri, perwakilan masyarakat, pemerintah daerah, kepala desa, serta pers atau media. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasi lapangan, forum diskusi terpumpun dan kajian literatur sebagai teknik pengambilan data. Analisis data menggunakan matrik analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan potensi ancaman yang dapat mengganggu seluruh proses pembangunan sumber daya manusia. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi dari penelitian ini agar para pemangku kepentingan terkait perlu melakukan koordinasi yang semakin baik dan kuat dalam upaya untuk memastikan agar setiap rencana tindak lanjut strategis dapat diimplementasikan dengan tepat dan efisien.
