Abstract

Globalization forces multinational companies (MNCs) to manage human resources amidst a diversity of contrasting cultures, laws and policies in each operational country. Rigid and centralized HR planning often creates communication barriers and non-compliance with local regulations, which ultimately reduces organizational performance. This research aims to analyze adaptive HR planning strategies in mitigating cultural and legal challenges in order to increase the effectiveness of company operations in the global market. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data was collected through documentation techniques on scientific journal articles, HR management textbooks, and national seminar proceedings for the 2017-2025 period which were then analyzed thematically. The study results show that successful HR planning involves accurate data collection processes, forecasting talent needs, and flexible policy implementation. Adaptive strategies, including cross-cultural training and adjusting compensation systems according to local labor laws, have been proven to minimize communication conflicts and legal risks. Adaptive HR planning is a key element for multinational companies to achieve competitive advantage. The synergy between global quality standards and local wisdom allows the company to maintain stable industrial relations while increasing employee engagement in various operational areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of Christology in the first century. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type. Data analysis techniques use content analysis and historical-theological analysis. The results of the study found that the understanding of the development of Christology from the first to the fifth century was a long journey in which the church attempted to formulate a precise understanding of the person of Jesus Christ. Starting from the testimony of the apostles in the New Testament, Christological thought developed through challenges from Gnosticism, Arianism, Nestorianism, and Monophysitism. Through ecumenical councils such as Nicaea (325 AD), Constantinople (381 AD), Ephesus (431 AD), and Chalcedon (451 AD), the church established the doctrine that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, with two natures united in one person without mixing, without changing, without dividing, and without separating. Figures such as Ignatius, Irenaeus, Athanasius, Cyrillus, and Leo the Great played an important role in this formulation. This understanding of historical Christology remains a solid foundation for Christian faith to this day

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ self-regulated learning in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) classes, where the learning process tends to remain one-sided and teacher-centered. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of inquiry-based learning strategies on students’ self-regulated learning in IRE classes. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through a self-regulated learning questionnaire and observations of learning activities, which were then analyzed using a t-test to determine the significance of differences between the experimental and control classes. The results indicate that the implementation of inquiry-based learning strategies significantly enhances students’ self-regulated learning compared to conventional methods, as students become more active in planning, monitoring, and evaluating their own learning processes. The implications of this study are that inquiry strategies can serve as an effective alternative learning model for Islamic Education teachers to foster students’ character traits of independence, critical thinking, and responsibility toward their spiritual and academic achievements.

Abstract

The dance work “Mahelo Nan Ado” is inspired by the traditional mamukek activity in Lengayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The mamukek or maelo pukek tradition is a method of catching fish practiced by coastal fishermen using large, long nets and ropes, which are cast from the shore to catch fish. This activity served as the source of inspiration for the choreographer to create a group dance that interprets the maelo pukek fishing activity. The central issue explored in this work is the togetherness and cooperation among the fishermen, as well as the gratitude they feel for the harvest they receive. The theoretical foundation used in the creation process is macro sociology, which relates to large-scale and long-term social processes that underlie the division of individuals into various groups. The choreographic method applied in this work follows the model developed by Alma M. Hawkins, as translated by Y. Sumandiyo Hadi, which includes field observation, literature study, exploration, movement arrangement, improvisation, composition, and evaluation. The choreography is structured into three parts: a calm atmosphere, tension, and joy mixed with solemnity. The piece is performed by seven female dancers and was staged on July 17, 2025, at the Boestanul Arifin Adam Auditorium, Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Padangpanjang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the drilling method in improving students' understanding of the simple present tense. The study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were grade X students of SMKN 1 Tapaktuan in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and initial (pre-test) and final (post-test) tests. The results showed a significant increase from an average pre-test score of 60 to 80 in the post-test. This finding confirms that the drilling method is able to improve mastery of English grammar, especially the simple present tense.
