Abstract

The research was aimed to investigate the effect of addition phytobiotics in basal feed to live weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, and abdominal fat percentage of hybrid ducks. Hybrid duck used for research were 192 duck. The method used in this research was field experimental with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 4 treatments and 6 replications, there were basal feed + 0% phytobiotics (T0); basal feed + 0.20% phytobiotics (T1); basal feed + 0.25% phytobiotics (T2) and basal feed + 0.30% phytobiotics (T3). The variables measured were the percentage of carcasses and abdominal fat. The research data were analyzed using variance using the Completely Randomized Design and continued with Duncan's multiple range test if there were real differences or very real differences . The result showed that the addition of phytobiotics in basal feed to the live weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, and abdominal fat percentage of hybrid ducks of adding leaf flour in hybrid duck feed had no significant effect (P>0.05) on body weight before slaughtering, carcass percentage of thigh and wing parts and abdominal fat. but had a significant effect (P<0.05) on carcass weight and a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the percentage of carcass breast.

This research was conducted from August to September 2021, this research was conducted by conductibf interviews with the Company Owner. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research, namely by collecting, classifying, analyzing and interpreting the data obtained from the company so that it can provide an overview of the actual situation. The method used by researchers for data collection is by interview and documentation. The results showed how to overcome bankruptcy based on financial data, the company had total debt which was one of the causes of the company going bankrupt and another reason the company closed because in 2019 the price of chicken decreased. Factors causing the decline in broiler prices in 2019 were due to oversupply from broiler chickens, oversupply from Day Old Chicks (DOC), a decrease in people's purchasing power and distribution channels that were disrupted due to the issue of the cartel mafia.

Abstract

Article 8 of Act Number 20 years 2008 affirmed the government's commitment to Micro and Small Medium Enterprises to funding accurately and help obtain financing and services or other financial products, both conventional and Syariah systems. Contracts play an important role in economic activity or business. Function contracts give legal certainty, rules of the game, and tools evidence. Syariah funding contracts have many kinds which can be applied for various needs. Contract law is an open system, but the type of contract must be chosen to efficiently secure the distribution of funds. The role of the state needed to be precise following the purpose, for example, they do not finance properly the empowerment of micro-businesses in the livestock field. One theory that could help in legal problems in determining excellent choices is the economic analysis of law. This theory over law problems choice does not this can be resolved, as of theories it has the central idea to efficiency, among others the rule of law through contract.

Abstract

Chicken eggs are a food commodity with high interest and demand in society. Chicken eggs contain complete nutrients needed by the human body, but chicken eggs cannot be stored for long periods. Therefore, this research aims to find the best egg preservation method so that eggs can be stored without changing the important composition of the egg. The materials used are fresh chicken eggs, hot water, and limestone. The method used is preserving eggs with various media: (P0) eggs without preservation, (P1) preserving with limestone, and (P2) preserving eggs by dipping in hot water. Each egg was stored for 7 days at room temperature. The results showed that storing eggs for 7 days using various preservation methods did not significantly affect (P>0.05) of the values of shell thickness, specific gravity, egg cleanliness, and egg texture. This research suggests that storing raw eggs does not require preservation if the eggs are only stored for 7 days. It is best to store it for more than 7 days.

Abstract

The uptake of local corn by feed factories nationally in corn production and demand between regions is uneven, which creates corn shortages, so information services are needed for business actors. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of local corn uptake by feed factories nationally using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the research show that the local corn uptake information service in the Sijagung application from the five dimensions of Campbell's service effectiveness, namely service success, target success, satisfaction with service, level of input and output and achievement of overall goals is considered less effective because there is no updated data information, does not provide information projection data as corn absorption data required by feed factories nationally. To achieve the effectiveness of corn uptake information services by feed factories through the Sijagung application, it needs to be strengthened with a service integration dimension used to measure the extent to which the presentation of local corn uptake data nationally can be integrated with harvest condition data so that it can display projection data for Business Actors in making decisions to carry out purchase.

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the main business sectors used as the livelihood of the people of Sumberpitu village with dairy farming as an accompanying business unit. However, from the existing potential, there are several problems such as steps and expensive inorganic fertilizers. From the results of deepening the problem through interviews, it shows that farmers in Sumberpitu Village do not have any knowledge and skills to use cow urine as liquid organic fertilizer in their farming business. The purpose of this study is to conduct extension program on the use of cow urine waste as biourine with the addition of pineapple skin bioactivators and analyze behavior changes in aspects of knowledge, attitudes and skills of farmers in Sumberpitu village. The research method used in this study is the Level III action research method. The evaluation results show that extension services can increase farmers' knowledge from a percentage of pre-test scores of 50% to 82% in post-test scores, which can be categorized as very high. In the aspect of attitude, the percentage of pre-test scores of 48% increased to 76% in post-test scores and was included in the high category so as to show a positive attitude towards the extension program material delivered. While in the aspect of presentation skills, the post test score is 83%, which can be categorized as “very high”. These results show that the extension program provided has proven effective in changing farmer behavior in increasing knowledge and attitudes as well as developing farmers' skills in utilizing cow urine waste as biourine with the addition of pineapple peel as a bioactivator.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the comparison of types of battery materials for laying hens, specifically bamboo and wire, on the welfare and production performance of laying hens. The material for this research consisted of 100 laying hens of the ISA Brown strain aged 54 weeks. The variables observed included livestock welfare, which was assessed through behavioral aspects (eating, drinking, and resting), while the production performance variables observed included HDP (Hen Day Production), egg weight, egg mass, and FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio). The research method employed an experimental approach using the T-test (independent sample). Two treatments were used, each with 50 replications. The results of the research indicated that the difference in treatment using T1 (bamboo battery materials) and T2 (wire battery materials) affected livestock welfare and production performance. The research results demonstrated that the behavior of bamboo batteries was considered better in terms of livestock welfare because they were able to better prevent heat stress. In terms of production performance, wire batteries exhibited higher Hen Day Production (HDP) and were better at preventing disease than bamboo batteries. However, bamboo batteries had a higher egg weight due to the frequency of feeding chickens being higher than wire batteries. Improved sanitation management is necessary for batteries made from bamboo because they tend to more easily become a medium for the growth of germs, lice, and fungi, which can cause disease and result in decreased production performance.
