Abstract

This Community Service activity was carried out to increase the competitiveness and independence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Es Kelapa Muda Duo Putri in Kureksari Village, Sidoarjo, through packaging innovations and digital marketing strategies. The background of this activity departs from the problem of partners who still use plain packaging without brand identity and conventionally limited promotional strategies. The purpose of this activity is to empower partners to be able to develop highly competitive products by utilizing information technology. The implementation method uses a participatory approach through observation stages, interviews, packaging innovation training, social media management assistance, and evaluation of activity results. The results of the activity show a significant increase in the appearance of products with new packaging with logos and attractiveness, as well as an increase in the ability of partners to use social media as a means of promotion. This activity not only has a practical impact in the form of increasing sales and product image, but also strengthens digital literacy and innovative awareness of business actors. Overall, this PKM activity contributes to strengthening the community-based creative economy and becomes a replication model for the empowerment of MSMEs in other regions that have similar characteristics.

Abstract

The village of Kekait in West Lombok Regency possesses significant potential for agro-tourism development through the utilization of sugar palm (Arenga pinnata) as its main commodity. However, this potential remains underdeveloped due to limited product innovation, inadequate packaging quality, and a lack of accompanying cultural narratives that can enhance product value. This community service activity aimed to increase the added value of palm-based products by facilitating design innovation and incorporating local wisdom-based storytelling. The method applied was a participatory empowerment approach, combining technical training with hands-on mentoring. Over two months, the program included practical sessions on packaging development, narrative creation, and product prototyping. The results show that the local community successfully adopted eco-friendly kraft paper packaging, designed with Sasak motifs, and implemented product labels that contained educational and cultural narratives. This intervention increased both product attractiveness and economic potential within the local tourism market. The activity concludes that culture-based empowerment can be a transformative strategy for supporting creative economies in rural areas. Further support is recommended in the form of institutional strengthening and access to digital marketing platforms to sustain and scale the initiatives.

Abstract

: Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah pola akses informasi dan menegaskan kebutuhan mendesak akan literasi digital di kalangan pelajar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi mobile library sebagai sumber belajar digital. Program dilaksanakan bekerja sama dengan SMA Negeri 1 Siantan, Kecamatan Jongkat, Kabupaten Mempawah, dengan melibatkan 25 siswa sebagai peserta. Metode pelaksanaan menggabungkan sesi penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, serta evaluasi kuantitatif melalui kuesioner. Pelatihan difokuskan pada penggunaan tiga platform digital—iPusnas, iKalbar, dan iJakarta—meliputi instalasi, registrasi, pencarian buku, peminjaman, dan membaca koleksi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan teknis siswa, khususnya dalam mengakses dan mengelola bahan bacaan digital. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan kesadaran yang lebih kuat akan pentingnya literasi digital sebagai kompetensi inti dalam proses pembelajaran. Evaluasi akhir menunjukkan skor rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,6 (92%) dengan kategori “Sangat Baik,” yang mengindikasikan keberhasilan program dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman belajar yang aplikatif sekaligus memperkuat budaya literasi berbasis teknologi di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

This Workshop on Scientific Article Writing Assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI) aimed to enhance the scientific writing competence of secondary school teachers by integrating AI-based tools ethically, reflectively, and productively. The program was held on March 16, 2024, at SMPN 21 Pontianak, involving fifteen teachers from various disciplines. The activity applied the Participatory Action Workshop (PAW) approach, emphasizing collaborative, experiential, and reflective learning through three key stages: orientation, writing practice, and individual mentoring. Participants were trained to use ChatGPT, Perplexity.ai, Humata.ai, and Research Rabbit to assist idea exploration, article structuring, and language editing in accordance with academic conventions. The results revealed significant improvements in teachers’ technical writing skills, understanding of publication ethics, and confidence in developing scholarly manuscripts. Each participant produced a draft article ready for further development and contributed to the formation of the AI-Based Teacher Writing Community of Pontianak as a post-program sustainability outcome. This activity demonstrates that short, intensive AI-assisted training can serve as an effective community engagement model to strengthen teacher professionalism in the digital era and contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the integration of tauhid-based values within bilingual digital pedagogy for teachers in Early Childhood Education (ECE). The initiative was developed in response to the increasing linguistic and technological demands placed on Islamic educators, alongside the persistent fragmentation between language instruction and spiritual formation. Utilizing the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program engaged teachers in iterative cycles of collaborative planning, action, reflection, and refinement, enabling them to construct learning experiences that embed English and Arabic vocabulary within tauhid-oriented meaning-making. The results indicated substantial improvements in teachers’ pedagogical competence, conceptual understanding, and technological proficiency, evidenced by their ability to design and produce digital Islamic learning media such as e-posters, multimedia storytelling, and interactive vocabulary tools. Furthermore, the workshop fostered stronger partnerships between teachers and parents, leading to a unified educational ecosystem grounded in shared spiritual responsibility. The findings validate that bilingual literacy, when anchored in Islamic theology, functions not merely as a communicative skill but as an instrument of identity building and moral cultivation. The program demonstrates a scalable and contextually relevant model for Islamic early childhood pedagogy, offering a transformative direction for future curriculum development, institutional collaboration, and long-term educational reform.
