Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the effect of Face Print Attendance on Employee Performance at the Samosir Regency Food Security and Agriculture Office. This research was carried out at the Samosir Regency Food Security and Agriculture Office. The type of research is quantitative associative. The sample in this study is 96 employees with ASN and honorary status at the Samosir Regency Food Security and Agriculture Office. The sampling technique in this study used the entire population of 64 people. The results of the study show that Face Print Attendance has a significant influence on Employee Performance as shown by a T-Statistic value of 3.549 > a t table of 1.669 and a P Value of 0.001 < 0.05. This shows that improvements in Face Print Attendance can improve Employee Performance at the Samosir Regency Food Security and Agriculture Office.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of Artificial Intelligence on Employee Creativity at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Department. This research was carried out at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office. The type of research is associative quantitative. The sample in this study was 96 employees with ASN and honorary status at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office. The sampling technique in this study used the entire population of 96 people. The research results show that Artificial Intelligence has a significant influence on Employee Creativity as shown by the T-Statistic value of 11.310 > 1.660 and the P Value of 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that improvements in Artificial Intelligence can increase employee creativity at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Department.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of incentives on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Asahan Regency. Incentives are considered as factors that can increase employee motivation and performance in achieving predetermined targets and standards. This type of research is quantitative research with a casual associative approach, involving 145 employees as research samples using saturated sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires, distributed to all employees and analyzed using SPSS version 25.0. The results of the linear regression analysis showed that incentives have a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 1.480 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.762 indicates that incentives contribute 76.2% to improving employee performance, while the rest is influenced by other factors. Based on the hypothesis test, there is a significant positive effect between incentives and employee performance, as indicated by the t-count value of 21.387 which is greater than the t-table of 1.97669. This study concludes that incentives play an important role in improving employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service of Asahan Regency, and it is recommended that organizations design more strategic incentives that are in accordance with employee needs to achieve more optimal results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the influence of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Dairi Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency Office. This research was conducted with a causal associative quantitative approach. The sample used was all employees with a total of 43 people taken by purposive sampling. The results of the study show that Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. This is shown by the T-count value of 43.223 > t table 2.01954, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The regression coefficient shows that if Work Discipline is increased by 1 unit, then Employee Performance will increase by 0.987 units assuming other variables are fixed. In addition, the results of the determination test showed an Adjusted R Square value of 0.960 or 96.00%, which indicates that Work Discipline has a very high influence on Employee Performance, while the remaining 4.00% is influenced by other factors that have not been studied. Thus, partially, Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Dairi Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency Office. This identifies that improvements in Work Discipline can contribute to improving Employee Performance

Abstract

Public compliance in paying land and building tax obligations in Karang Berombak Village, West Medan still has not provided an increase in land and building tax payments. The compliance of the taxpayer community is very important in determining the land and building tax that has been designed by the government. This research aims to find out what are the causes of taxpayer non-compliance in paying land and building tax in Karang Berombak Village, West Medan. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data collected came from observations at the research location, interviews with one of the UPT IV staff of the Medan City Regional Revenue Agency, and documentation related to the research. The results of this study as well as some information provided by informants showed that the low compliance of taxpayers in Karang Berombak Village, West Medan was triggered by economic factors, lack of socialization regarding land and building tax, outdated data, tax subjects who do not occupy tax objects, public dissatisfaction with public services, and technical constraints on the digital payment system.

The importance of human resource management (HR) is becoming increasingly fundamental along with the rapid development of technology and changes in workforce needs. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy for managing human resources (HR). man For fulfil challenge And opportunity Which faced by Generation Z, with a focus on career development and to identify key factors in implementation strategy management source Power man Which effective in Generation Z, which can make a positive contribution to career development. In the study “Generation Z Career Development in the Perspective of Human Resource Management”, a qualitative approach can be a very relevant method and provide an in-depth understanding of Gen Z career development in the perspective of human resource management, challenge Generation Z, And improvement maturity career. Results research is that personalization of career development plans is an effective strategy to meet the needs of Generation Z individuals, given their preference for recognition of each individual's uniqueness. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work-life balance, organizational culture, and work motivation on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. The object of this study is the employees of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. The research was conducted in 2023-2024. The population and sample of this study amounted to 76 respondents. Data processing was done using SPSS version 24. The data tests conducted included the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the t-test for the work-life balance variable (X1) had a t-value of 2.353 > t-table of 1.993 with a significance value of 0.021 < 0.05, meaning the work-life balance variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-test results for the organizational culture variable (X2) showed a t-value of 10.624 > t-table of 1.993 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the organizational culture variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-test results for the work motivation variable (X3) showed a t-value of 9.395 > t-table of 1.993 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the work motivation variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The F-test results showed an F-value of 121.388 > F-table of 3.12 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The R2 test results of 0.828 or 82.8% indicate that the independent variables work-life balance, organizational culture, and work motivation can explain the dependent variable of employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the practice of paying zakat, infaq, and alms conducted by university academics in Medan, referred to as Muslim scholars, and their perspectives on zakat management organizations. The study will delve into the relationship between the perspectives of university academic communities in North Sumatra on zakat management organizations and their practice of paying zakat, infaq, and alms. Additionally, this research will highlight the contribution of universities to the management of zakat, infaq, and alms in North Sumatra. The research employs a qualitative methodology. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to university communities in North Sumatra. The findings obtained from the field will be thoroughly explained, interpreted, and systematically organized to ensure clarity. The results reveal that the interaction between Muslim scholars and zakat institutions remains minimal. This is evident in the limited two-way engagement, where many Muslim scholars do not channel their zakat, infaq, and alms through zakat institutions, and conversely, zakat institutions often fail to involve Muslim scholars in managing zakat, infaq, and alms funds

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer behavior in making decisions to pay electricity account arrears at PT PLN (Persero) UID North Sumatra. With the increasing number of electricity account arrears, it is important to understand the factors that affect consumer behavior in making payments. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey of customers who have arrears. Data was collected through questionnaires that included variables such as awareness of payment obligations, level of understanding of bills, as well as external motivational factors such as fines and service termination. The results of the analysis show that consumer awareness and understanding of bills have a significant influence on the decision to pay arrears. In addition, external motivation factors also play a role in encouraging consumers to settle arrears. This study provides recommendations for PT PLN to increase socialization regarding payment obligations and offer more flexible solutions for consumers in resolving their arrears.
