Abstract

Pada lansia, hilangnya indera perasa membuat mengunyah makanan menjadi tidak nyaman atau menimbulkan masalah, sehingga menyebabkan kelesuan atau anoreksia, terutama pada makanan keras dan berserat tinggi seperti makanan nabati, hewani, atau daging. Penerimaan ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain penampilan dan rasa makanan yang disajikan serta waktu penyajiannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kesukaan lansia dan daya terima menu sayuran di UPTD Kesejahteraan Sosial Lanjut Usia Di Kupang Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan berbasis survei untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai tingkat kesukaan lansia terhadap sayuran. Populasi adalah lansia yang berada di UPTD Kesejahteraan Sosial Lanjut Usia di Kupang berjumlah 79 orang yang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Kuesioner untuk mengukur tigkat kesukaan, timbangan dan Formulir Comstok untuk mengukur daya terima makanan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesukaan lansia terhadap menu sayuran yang dihidangkan menurut lansia yang mengatakan kurang puas terhadap rasa menu sayuran sebanyak 11 lansia (36.7%) dari 30 lansia, aroma menu sayuran sebanyak 15 lansia (50.0%) dari 30 lansia, tekstur menu sayuran sebanyak 13 lansia (43,3%) dari 30 lansia, dan warna menu saayuran sebanyak 15 lansia (50.0%) dari 30 lansia. Sedangkan daya terima lansia terhadap sayuran dari 30 responden terdapat 21 lansia (70,0%) memiliki daya terima yang baik.

Abstract

Permasalahan balita gizi kurang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, penelitian sebelumnya menyebutkan faktor utama yang menyebabkan balita gizi kurang yaitu asupan ASI (air susu ibu) dan asupan pelengkap yang tidak optimal, infeksi berulang, dan kekurangan zat gizi mikro. Selain itu juga terdapat faktor lain seperti berat bayi lahir rendah, rendahnya pendapatan orang tua, dan usia kehamilan. Berdasarkan faktor diatas, asupan ASI dan makanan pendamping ASI (MPASI) merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat diperbaiki terutama dalam dua tahun pertama kelahiran.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meingeitaihui hubungain peimbeiriain ASI dan jenis makanan yang pertama kali diberikan dengan status gizi balita Usia 6-24 Bulan Indeiks BB/U Di Kelurahan Lasiana Puskesmas Oesapa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif . Dilaksanakan pada bulan September-Mei Tahun 2023 di Kelurahan Lasiana Puskesmas Oesapa.Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu ibu balita dan balita usia 6-24 bulan sebanyak 71 orang dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen peneilitian menggunakan kueisioner dan timbangan digital. Variabel dalam peneilitian ini yaitu status gizi indikaitor BB/U, Riwayat Pemberian ASI dan Jenis pemberian makanan yang pertama kali diberikan.Analisis data menggunakan uji Ficher’s exaict test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan  haisil uji menggunakan Fi=cher’s exact test dipeiroleh nilai p value 0,449. Haisil tersebut menyatakan bahwa H0 diterima yang artinya tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara lama pemberian ASI dengan staitus gizi.Untuk jenis makanan yang pertama kali diberikan peirtaimai kaili berdasarkan hasil uji menggunakan Ficher’s exact test diperoleh nilai p value 0,695.Dimana hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa H0 diterima yang artinya tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis makanan yaing pertama kali diberikan dengan status gizi.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is still a global health problem. According to the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Health Office (NTT Provincial Health Office), the number of new cases of smear-positive pulmonary TB in 2017 was 29%. Based on data from the medical records of Prof.DR W.Z Johannes Kupang Hospital, 51 patients with tuberculosis who underwent outpatient treatment in the last 3 months. The purpose of this research to know the description of intake of macronutrients and nutritional status in TB patients in the outpatient room of Prof. Hospital. Dr. W Z Johannes Kupang. This type of observational research with a descriptive design was carried out in January 2023. Sampling used the Accidental Sampling technique, which consisted of 34 TB respondents. The data taken includes intake of macronutrients and nutritional status (secondary). The results showed that of the 34 respondents with TB, the energy intake of the respondents was mostly in the category of severe deficit (61.8%), the highest percentage of respondents' protein intake was in the category of moderate deficit (38.2%), the fat intake of the respondents was mostly in the category of severe deficit (67.6%), most of the respondents' carbohydrate intake was in the category of severe deficit (79.4%) and the highest percentage of patients' nutritional status was in the underweight category (29.4%). Overview of macronutrient intake and nutritional status in TB patients in the outpatient room of Prof. Dr. Most of W Z Johannes Kupang are in the category of weight deficit and underweight nutritional status.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of chronic malnutrition which will have an impacton the growth and development that occurs before birth. The research objective was to determine the relationship between macronutrient intake, knowledge, preparedness and maternal behavior with stunting in toddlers in Maulafa District, Kupang City in 2022. The Cluster Random Sampling technique was used in this study. The populasion is all to toddlers in Maulafa District, Kupang City, totaling 6103 toddlers. The number of participants is 100 toddlers. The researchwas conducted in December 2022-March 2023. A 24-hour recall form was used tpo obtain mavronutrieny intake. The results of interviews whit mothers produce knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Chi-square is used for statistical tests. Form the results of the study it was found that there were 28 stunded toddlers (28%) and 72 toddlers (72%) who were not stunded. According to the research results, the incidence of stunting in toddlers is related to the intake of macronutrients, knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the mothers with a P-value = < 0,005

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake for a long time. The problem of stunting nutrition is caused by the mother's lack of nutritional knowledge and improper parenting. Based on data from the health center in February 2023 in Oenesu Village, the nutritional status based on the TB / U indicator of toddlers has a short nutritional status of 15 people (18.9%) and a very short nutritional status of 3 people (3.7%). The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and nutritional status based on TB / U indicators in toddlers aged 24 - 59 months in Oenesu Village, West Kupang District, Kupang Regency. This study used quantitative methods with a cross sectional design. The research was conducted in January - February 2023 in Oenesu Village. The sample in this study were mothers and toddlers aged 24 - 59 months as many as 53 people with total sampling technique. The research instrument used was a parenting questionnaire. The variables in this study were the nutritional status of TB/U indicators and parenting patterns. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis conducted with Ficher's exact test. The results showed that parenting patterns of feeding were lacking 1 person (1.9%) and parenting patterns of health service utilization were lacking as many as 14 people (26.4%). Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between feeding parenting and health service utilization parenting with nutritional status.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition in which the diastolic heartbeat is greater than 90 mmHg and the systolic circulatory strain is greater than 140 mmHg in two assessments conducted over a period of minutes in a state of adequate rest and calm. Attempts are intended to assist with food consumption plans. by subbing potassium-rich fixings that are high in potassium. Since treats are made with flour, kepok banana flour and moringa leaf flour were utilized alternative for refined fixings. To pick the impact of replacement of kepok banana flour (Musa paradisiaca L.) and moringa leaf flour (Moringa oliefera L.) on the organoleptic properties of treats. The kind of investigation methodology used is a preliminary procedure using a Completely Randomized Plan (CRD) with 4 drugs. Abstract

  Elementary school students are one of the vulnerable groups to nutritional and health problems. Nutritional status is the condition of the body which is the end result of the balance between nutrients that enter the body. Intake of macronutrients is the intake needed in relatively large amounts, including carbohydrates, fats, and protein. In addition to food intake, there are other factors that affect nutritional status, namely nutritional knowledge. Objectivethis research to determine the relationship between intake of macronutrients and nutritional knowledge with the nutritional status of school students in Kelapa Lima District. This research design uses a descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach. Analysis of the data used is the fisher's exact test. From the results of the study, it was found that the frequency of nutritional status of students based on BMI according to age (BMI/U) in the undernutrition category was 6 people (2.3%), 18 people (6.8%) were overweight and 4 people were obese (1,5%). The carbohydrate intake of students in the more category was 6 people (2.3%) and the less category was 102 people (38.3). The protein intake of students was more than 47 people (17.7%) and less than 75 people (28.2%). The fat intake of students was more than 18 people (6.8%) and less as many as 95 people (35.7%). There were 79 (29.7%) students with enough nutritional knowledge and 52 students (19.5%) lacking knowledge. The results of the analysis stated that there was no relationship between carbohydrate intake, protein intake, fat intake and nutritional knowledge with nutritional status. Based on the results of the analysis, there is no relationship between carbohydrate intake, protein intake, fat intake and nutritional knowledge with nutritional status.

Abstract

Anemia is a health condition that makes a person feel tired, tired and lethargic, thus affecting their creativity and productivity. Anemia also increases the likelihood of disease in adulthood and creates a generation that faces nutritional challenges. This studies turned into performed to decide the connection among information, conduct and occurrence of anemia in young women at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang Barat and SMK Negeri 1 Kupang Barat. Lack of blood results in inadequate blood to bind and delivery oxygen from the lungs to the relaxation of the body. If the required amount of oxygen is not sufficient, it will result in difficulty concentrating, resulting in decreased learning, decreased immune system, fatigue, reduced physical activity, and easy to fall ill. poor body stamina as a result of rarely going to school or working (Ministry of Health, 2017).This research was carried out in May 2023 and was carried out at West Kupang 1 State High School and West Kupang 1 State Vocational School. This kind of studies is quantitative the usage of a pass sectional layout. The pattern for this research consisted of 102 young women.The outcomes of the observe confirmed that there has been no courting among comprehension (p=0.964) and mindset (p=0.518) using the occurence of anemia in young women at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang Barat and SMK Negeri 1 Kupang Barat. What will happen is that research shows that knowledge and attitudes do not contribute to the prevalence of anemia in young women.

Abstract

Adolescence is a stage of very rapid growth (growth spurt). This period is called the Golden period because during this period teenagers experience many biological changes, namely changes in body weight, height and body proportions. Teenagers really need twice as much nutritional intake for their growth and development. The nutritional status of adolescents is directly influenced by infectious diseases and food intake, and one of the indirect factors that can influence nutritional status is nutritional knowledge. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between nutritional knowledge and infectious diseases and the nutritional status of adolescents aged 15-18 years. The research used is quantitative research with a correlational analysis design with a cross sectional study approach. In this study, stratified random sampling was used to determine the sample, with a total sample of 131 people conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City from November 2023 to June 2024. The results of the univariate research showed that the majority of teenagers' nutritional knowledge was in the category of good nutritional knowledge, namely 63 people (48.1%), the number of teenagers who experienced infectious diseases in the last month was 78 people (59.5%) and 81 teenagers (61.8%) had good nutritional status. The results of the Fisher exact test analysis p-value = 0.702, which means there is no relationship between nutritional knowledge and the nutritional status of adolescents and the p-value is 0.831, meaning that infectious diseases also have no relationship with the nutritional status of adolescents.

Abstract

Adolescence is the stage of life that is between puberty and full maturity. This is also the time when a person matures physically from childhood to adulthood. A healthy diet must be followed to obtain good nutritional status through food consumption. The aim of a diet is to control the amount and type of food consumed in order to maintain nutritional status, improve health, and avoid or help treat disease. Lack of physical activity can cause excess weight. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between eating habits, physical activity and nutritional status. Cross-sectional research with quantitative analysis is the type of research used. From the research results, it was found that the age distribution of teenagers with the highest frequency was 19 years old with a frequency of 66 people (44.9%), the distribution of food types in the moderate category with the highest frequency was 147 people (100.0%), the distribution of the frequency of eating in the moderate category with the highest frequency. 147 people (100.0), the physical activity category with the highest frequency was light activity 138 people (93.9%), the distribution of body mass index categories with the highest frequency was Normal weight 88 people (59.9%), and upper arm circumference with the highest frequency was the Normal category, 79 people (53.7%). From the results of this study, there was no relationship between diet and physical activity and nutritional status.
