Abstract

The objectives of this study are as follows: to find out the effect of implementing the 2013 curriculum, the effect of association on bullying behavior at MAN 4 Jombang with a quantitative explanatory research approach. The population is 136 students with Proportional Random Sampling sampling obtained 100 samples from class XII A and XII B with quantitative data analysis techniques obtained there is a partial positive effect between the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on bullying behavior at MAN 4 Jombang with an explanation that the level of bullying behavior of students can be predicted from the high and low implementation of the K-13 curriculum. That there is no partially significant effect between the effects of student association on bullying behavior at MAN 4 Jombang with the explanation that the level of student bullying behavior cannot be predicted from the high and low effects of student association. That there is an effect of implementing the K-13 curriculum and student association on behavior bullying at MAN 4 Jombang with a low proportion and other variables that can explain it is possible that the main objectives of the school are less focused on character building, infrastructure that is less supportive, and environmental role models that are less supportive.

Abstract

Effective and efficient learning media are needed to help students when facing learning situations that require an understanding of a number of alternative procedures (simple to complex) so that learning runs efficiently and practically. This study was designed using classroom research because the data taken included student and teacher activities, student learning outcomes, and student responses. These data are data obtained during the learning process and based on problems in the classroom. These problems will later be taken certain actions so that there is an improvement in each cycle. From the results of student learning in each cycle, it was found that in each cycle, student learning outcomes increased. In the first cycle, students obtained an average score of 59.64 with a learning completeness of 35.71%. In the second cycle, students got an average score of 69.86 with 71.43% learning completeness. From the response analysis cycle 1 to cycle 3, it can be concluded that the responses that each cycle experienced an increase were the level of students' difficulty in learning meaning in the conversation that was heard, the level of understanding of students receiving the subject matter, the level of difficulty of students listening to the reading of meaning in the conversation that was heard, and belief. students about learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning Aqidah Akhlak and Aqidah Akhlaq Teacher Competencies on the morals of students of SMK Bisri Syamsuri Denayar Jombang. This research approach is a quantitative approach with an explanation (explanatory research) with a survey method. Aqidah Akhlaq Learning Variable as a variable (X1) and Teacher Competency variable as a variable (X2), Aqhlak as an independent variable (Y). The population amounted to 148 students with Proportional Random Sampling sampling obtained 115 samples from class X, XI and XII. Methods of data collection using questionnaires with an interval scale with a Likert model. This study uses the described quantitative data analysis techniques. The results obtained in this study are the level of Aqidah Akhlaq Learning carrying out Teacher Competency obtained 85% have high Aqidah Akhlaq Learning Aqidah Akhlaq Learning, 15% have Aqidah Akhlaq Learning Aqidah Akhlaq Learning is moderate and there are no students who have Aqidah Akhlaq Learning Aqidah Akhlaq learning is low. Based on the results of statistical analysis and discussion, the level of student morality is obtained, from 9.5% who have a high level of student morality, 27.5% have a moderate level of student morality and 63% have a low level of student morality.

Abstract

In line with the formulation of the problem above, this study aims as follows: to determine the understanding, efforts and strategies of the head of madrasah in developing teacher competence and improving the quality of education at MAN 4 Jombang. The research approach uses qualitative (qualitative research), field models (field research). In this study, visits to institutions that are examined at least 2-3 times a week will be carried out, the role as an instrument as well as data collectors is realized by visiting MAN 4 Jombang. The time for site visits begins in February 2020 before the occurrence of Covid-19 until August 2020. Interviews were conducted directly and indirectly (phone) due to the Covid-19 pandemic conditions. With purposive sampling, data was collected by means of in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. It was found that the principal's understanding of teacher competence in improving the quality of education at MAN 4 Jombang has thoroughly understood and understood the educational competence, personality competence, social competence and professional competence by combining them according to the environmental conditions of the madrasa in the Mambaul Maarif Islamic Boarding School environment. Efforts made by madraash principals, teachers and schools in fulfilling the requirements to improve the quality of learning are meeting content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, financing standards, educators and education personnel standards and educational assessment standards. The Head of Madrasah at MAN 4 Jombang in developing teacher competence for improving the quality of education as the implementation of the main tasks and functions in the leadership of the madrasah principal is to carry out the commitment to school quality assurance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between cognitive style and verbal reasoning on student achievement in Physical Education subjects. The subjects of this study were 84 students who were cared for and educated at MTsN 10 Jombang in Mojoagung sub-district. The samples were taken randomly, consisting of class VII A = 27 students, class VIII D = 27 students, and class IX B = 30 students. To obtain data regarding the relationship between cognitive style and verbal reasoning on student achievement in Physical Education subjects, a questionnaire prepared by the researcher was used. To achieve this goal, the data were analyzed by coefficient analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a very significant positive correlation between the application of cognitive style and verbal reasoning on student achievement in Physical Education subjects.

Abstract

This article discusses the Dimensions of Morals in Organization for the members of the Jombang PMII movement. This study aims to determine the objective condition of the morals of PMII Jombang members, the form of implementation and the process of moral formation, to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing moral values. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research. The approach used in this research is the Theological-Normative approach, Psychological approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. In this study, the results showed that the moral dimensions contained in the members of the PC PMII Jombang movement varied. There are indicators of good morals but there are also indicators of bad morals. But in practice there are more good morals. This is because PC PMII Jombang residents consist of students with different backgrounds. So that the practice of moral values ​​in it also has differences between one cadre and another. This affects the process of moral formation that exists in the citizens of the PC PMII Jombang movement. This shows that the implementation of morals among PC PMII Jombang cadres has a dimensional nuance, there are various kinds of morals that are found.

Abstract

Kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran terutama pada pelajaran sejarah membuat sebagian besar siswa pelajaran sejarah adalah pelajaran yang membosankan dan bersifat hafalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran VCD dengan metode kerja kelompok untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas VII A MTsN 12 Jombang tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Populasi dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas kelas VII A MTsN 12 Jombang tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan lewat observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskripsi prosentase. Hasil penelitian manunjukkan Nilai rata-rata kognitif siswa mengalami peningkatan pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata siswa 59,26 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 42,11%, siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 53,82 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 42,16% kemudian meningkat pada siklus II yaitu nilai rata-rata 64,57 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 78,95%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai, maka dapat disimpilkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran menggunakan media VCD dengan metode kerja kelompok dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas VIIA MTsN 12 Jombang tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media VCD dan metode kerja kelompok perlu dilaksanakan di kelas, karena model pembelajaran tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, selain itu model pembelajaran tersebut juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Saran yang dalam penelitian ini adalah perlunya guru membentuk kelompok belajar pada siswa, sehingga siswa dapat belajar dan bekerjasama dalam menciptakan kreatifitas siswa dalam meningkatkan pemahaman akan materi pelajaran. Disarankan kepada para peneliti bidang pendidikan hendaknya hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan perbandingan atau masukan untuk melakukan penelitian yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Increasing the material understanding of the relationship between geographic and population elements in Social Science Subjects (IPS) through the application of an affective demonstration approach is very important because of the low understanding of students. The purpose of this study was to obtain a comprehensive data description of teaching and learning activities (KBM) to increase understanding of the material connection between geographical elements and residents using an affective demonstration approach in Social Science Subjects (IPS) Class VIII-C MTs Negeri Tembelang 2030 Academic Year /2021, both during pre-research, research process, and post-research. With the class action research method. The result obtained is that there is an increase in students' understanding of the material related to geographic and population elements in Social Science Subjects (IPS) seen in the active participation of students in the stages of the learning cycle. Student activities such as (1) listening to the teacher's description of the subject matter; (2) doing practical activities and practice questions in the first assignment; (3) do practical activities and practice questions in the second assignment; and (4) carry out a joint evaluation to get the right conclusions from the learning activities that have just been carried out which is a form of active participation of students in teaching and learning activities (KBM) of Social Science Subjects (IPS) adequately with evidence of a value exceeding the completeness score namely 74. And an increase in students' understanding of the material related to geographical elements and residents in teaching and learning activities (KBM) Social Science Subjects (IPS) is also implemented in a real way to concrete results such as the ability to understand the material related to geographical elements and population in Social Science Subjects (IPS) in the form of enrichment questions that focus on aspects of improving the material properly and correctly

Abstract

Tesis ini membahas kinerja guru di MI Jombang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi dan mengungkap Program-program kinerja  yang diterapkan dan diaktualisasikan dalam membentuk karakter/akhlak siswa dan mengungkap dampak dari pembiasaan dari budaya keagamaan terhadap karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian survey lapangan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sasaran penelitian adalah tenaga pendidik atau guru MI Jombang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa variable motivasi guru memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap variable kinerja guru MI di Jombang.  Artinya ketika seorang guru dapat merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran dan sanggup mengembangkan kinerja dengan baik maka guru tersebut sanggup mengembangkan kompetensinya dan membuat kinerja guru tersebut meningkat. Guru yang memiliki self-determination, akan bisa bekerjasama dan berkoordinasi dengan fihak lain demi kelancaran proses pemebalajaran, sehingga segala bentuk permasalahan akan cepat teratasi dengan adanya kerjasama dan koordinasi dengan pihak lain.
