Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of a cooperative learning strategy type STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) to improve learning outcomes in the material characteristics of living beings of third grade students of SDN 2 Ardirejo Kepanjen, and to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in the material characteristics of students' living things. class III SDN 2 Ardirejo Kepanjen by implementing the STAD strategy. This research is an action research with 2 cycles and in each cycle there are 4 stages consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collected came from the results of the test and the results of observations and were analyzed using a descriptive approach. The results showed that the results of the implementation of the STAD strategy could improve the learning outcomes of third grade students at SDN 2 Ardirejo Kepanjen. Completeness of students in the first cycle is 17.4% and in the second cycle is 100%.

Abstract

The integration of local wisdom with the trisylas culture of the local wisdom scale is one form of interesting learning innovation in inculcating the pluralist character of elementary school students. This study aims to describe the implementation of localwisdom of the trisylas local wisdom scale in the pluralist character education of students in elementary schools. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods to explore phenomena that appear naturally. The subjects of this study were elementary schoolstudents at SDN Cicalengka X, Bandung Regency. The findings stated that the values contained in the local wisdom of the trisylas culture of the local wisdom scale greatly influenced the formation of the pluralist character of students in Cicalengka X Elementary School, Bandung Regency. In particular, it is concluded that with the implementation of local wisdom, the Trisilas local wisdom scale, students form the character of mutual tolerance, love each other, respect each other, and work together.

Abstract

Iin Irawati, Taufiq Eka Riandhana, Nur Halifah, 2022. The Effect of Motivation on Learning Achievement of Class XI Social Studies Students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu. The purpose of the study was to obtain information about whether there is an influence of motivation on student achievement in class XI I IPS in SMP Negeri 9 Palu. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method. The population is 133 students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu. The number of research samples as many as 57 people using the Proportional Sampling technique. The data collection technique used a Likert scale model questionnaire, Observation, Interview and Documentation. Data analysis techniques are first to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that the results of the analysis of the implications of motivation research on learning achievement had a significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation. The motivation of students at SMP Negeri 9 Palu Class XI IPS can be said to be good with a percentage of 63.44%. The motivation that arises in students cannot be separated from the teacher himself. A student learns because it is driven by mental strength in the form of desire, attention, will, or ideals, and this mental strength can be classified as low and high depending on the teacher's efforts to encourage students and give awards so that students feel able to become even better. Abstract

Blitar City State MI teachers have actually attended 2013 curriculum training. However, there are still many teachers who have difficulty in compiling learning tools. The principal has carried out monitoring and the result is that 10% of teachers can arrange learning tools. Several factors that influence this are due to the busyness of teachers, lack of guidance and assistance and not yet optimal socialization related to the preparation of learning tools. The solution to this problem is to assist in the preparation of learning tools. It aims to improve the competence of teachers in making learning tools. The research uses action research with 2 cycles. In each cycle there are 4 stages consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data were taken from the results of observations and tests. The data were then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that after mentoring in the preparation of learning tools, thecompetence of teachers in preparing learning tools increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to carry out learning through academic supervision based on information and communication technology (ICT) in the fostered schools, Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency. This is motivated by the not yet optimal ability of teachers in compiling learning tools. This research uses school action research with 3 cycles. In each cycle using 4 stages consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The data was obtained from the observation, recording, and class visits. The data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study indicate that the development of academic supervision using ICT can improve the ability of teachers at the Fostered Schools of Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency in making learning tools. The average level of teacher ability in the first cycle was 65.05% which was classified as less, and increased in the second cycle to 72.14% which was classified as less and in the third cycle increasedto 86.70% in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to improve teacher competence in mathematics subjects with innovations using attractive learning media at SD Negeri 2 Pandanrejo for the 2019/2020 school year. This research was conducted on the basis of observations which show that the results of observations that have been made still produce very few teachers who innovate in the use of learning media. Therefore, competence must be improved through coaching activities carried out by the principal. This research uses School Action Research (PTS) with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The data obtained from observations and evaluations of teacher performance. The data were then analyzed usinga descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the guidance carried out by the principal in innovative use of attractive mathematics learning media can improve the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 2 Pandanrejo for the 2019/2020 school year.In the first cycle the teacher's ability reached 42% and in the second cycle the teacher's ability increased to 73%.

Abstract

In an effort to help solve the problem of the low competence of teachers in carrying out Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning (PAKEM) in Class V, the researchers offer a form of professional coaching for educators with KKG-based Lesson Study. It is suspected that the KKG-based Lesson Study provides a process for collaborating and designing learning and evaluating the success of teaching strategies that have been implemented as an effort to improve the process and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this School Action Research is to improve the competence of implementing PAKEM with KKG-Based Lesson Study for Class Teachers at SDN 4 Sempol, Pagak District, Semester I for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. This research is a School Action Research (PTS) which is carried out in 3 cycles, each cycle consists of 2 meetings, so that in total there are 6 meetings. Each cycle is taken in 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The data in this study were collected using observation instruments with checklist instruments, interviews, questionnaires, and journals. Based on the predetermined criteria, it was found that with the implementation of KKG-Based Lesson Study, there was an increase in teacher competence in implementing PAKEM in each cycle in the form of an increase in the mean score, the first cycle got 70, the second cycle increased to 72.83, then in the third cycle it increased to 83.50. This means that the efforts of teachers in implementing PAKEM have been significant. Thus, it can be concluded that the KKG-based Lesson Study can improve the competence of implementing PAKEM for Class Teachers at SDN 4 Sempol, Pagak District, Malang Regency.

Abstract

Mathematics has a significant influence on the development of technology andscience. Both of these fields use mathematics as a tool for further study. At the same time, mathematics influences science and technology by creating new theories and methods(Siagian, 2016). Math is important for many other subjects, including science and technology. It is important to understand other subjects as it requires critical thinking and decision making. Students must learn the material before they can negotiate its use in theirreasoning and decisions. In an effort the researcher wants to increase the title of the problem and research into a specific subject. The reason is because he has analyzed thisproblem from the same background "Analysis of Student Interests in Mathematics in Islamic Boarding School-Based Schools at Madrasah Tsanawiyah".

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out and describe how class VIII students of ASSHOLACH MTs think critically based on gender differences, to know and describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for students of class VIII MTs ASSHOLACH to think critically. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of field research. The subjects in this study were class VIII assholach madrasah tsanawiyah students. Critical thinking analysis in research refers to the FOCUS criteria, namely Focus, Reason, Inference, Clarity and Overview proposed by Ennis. Data collection techniques, namely test techniques, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study were that the subject of male students fulfilled the five critical thinking criteria namely Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity, while the overview criteria were not met. Whereas on the subject of female students fulfilling all the criteria for critical thinking, namely Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity and Overview. Based on the results of this study, the researchers concluded that female students were better than male students in terms of critical thinking skills because male students did a thorough re-check, namely on the overview indicator and there were differences in the process.s.

Abstract

This stludy aims to analyze students' mathematical critlical thinking sklills on linelar programming material in terms of initial mathematical abillities and students' gender. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study used class XI MA Asshlolach students consisting of 1 male student wilth high initial ability, 1 female student with high initial ability, 1 male student with low initial ability and 1 femlale student with low initial ability. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques to measure critical thinking skills and non-test techniques in the form of interviews. The results of tests and interviews were analyzed based on indicators of critical thinking skills, namely: interpretation, analysis, evaluation and inference. The results showed that: (1) female students and male students with high and moderate initial abilities, it can be said that they have been able to carry out the stages of interpretation, analysis, evalluation, inference and explanation as well as self-regulation in solving critical thinking test questions. (2) female and male students with low initial abilities can already be said to be able to master 2 indicators of critical thinking skills (interpretation and evaluation), less able to master the indicators of analysis and inference.
