Abstract

In the learning process, creating an environment or learning atmosphere that stimulates active participation of students is very important, because students will find it easier to understand the concepts taught when they are actively involved. This study aims to determine the extent to which learning media using the quizizz application affects mathematics education students. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach on 37 students, data was collected through a questionnaire. The results of the validity and reliability tests of the instrument show the feasibility of the data. The residual normality test indicates a normal data distribution. However, the linearity test revealed that the relationship between learning interest and Quizizz results was non-linear. Simple linear regression analysis shows that the use of Quizizz does not have a significant effect on students' learning interest (Sig. 0.408> 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.020 indicates that only 2.0% of the variation in learning interest can be explained by Quizizz, confirming that the linear model is not suitable to describe this relationship. Thus, it is concluded that Quizizz-based learning media does not significantly affect students' learning interest in the context of the linear model tested

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Wordwall-based educational game media in mathematics learning on students' learning motivation. The method used was a descriptive quantitative approach through a learning motivation questionnaire. The respondents involved were 35 eighth-grade students of SMP Plus Tahdzibun Nasyiin. The results of the data analysis resulted in the conclusion that almost all students were able to accept this learning method. This is indicated by almost all students having high to very high learning motivation. This conclusion indicates that the use of Wordwall media has a positive impact on increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

One of the important factors that affect the quality of Natural Resources (HR) is education. Since the early stages of formal education, mathematics lessons have become an integral part in the development of logical thinking and data analysis skills. Mathematics is a very important subject, but in practice it is often considered difficult and less popular by some students. One branch of mathematics taught in schools is statistics. The reality in the field shows that statistical material, especially on the topic of mean, median, and mode, is still not fully mastered by most students. This can be caused by the lack of students' statistical thinking skills, which are the ability to understand, analyze. This study aims to analyze the strength and direction of the relationship between statistical thinking skills and students' ability to solve problems on basic statistical material, especially the material on mean, median, mode. This study was conducted on students in class VIII of Muhammad Shodiq Middle School. The approach used in this study uses a correlational method, which aims to identify and measure the relationship between two variables without providing a direct causal interpretation. The data collection technique was carried out through a written test, which was designed to measure the two research variables, namely statistical thinking skills and the ability to solve basic statistical material questions. The population in this study was 150 students, and 50 students were selected as samples. The results showed that out of 50 students, 13 students (32.5%) were at level 1 of the introduction stage, 22 students (55%) were at level 2 of the analysis stage, and 5 students (12.5%) were at level 3 of the sequencing stage. Although students' abilities in calculating mean, median, and mode were generally good, the results of the analysis showed that none of the students reached a higher level of statistical thinking. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between statistical thinking skills and students' abilities in working on questions on basic statistics material. It turns out that students who have higher statistical thinking skills are usually also more adept at solving questions about mean, median, and mode. The higher the level of thinking, the better the results.

Abstract

Social media is often used to communicate, share information, and fill free time. Its use can affect student learning achievement, with varying impacts depending on the context and research method. The purpose of this study is to conduct an in-depth analysis related to the influence of social media use on students' mathematics learning achievement in phase-E at SMA Negeri 1 Gamping. In its implementation, this study involved 30 students selected as a sample to represent the population. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method to reveal the relationship between the intensity of social media use and students' mathematics learning outcomes in more detail and objectively, the results of the analysis show a significant relationship between social media use and student learning achievement, with a calculated t value > t table (21.771 > 2.048) and a sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the use of social media has an impact on students' mathematics learning achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter religius dalam membentuk moderasi beragama siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Alasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, wali kelas, dan siswa dari kelas X hingga XII. Pendidikan karakter religius diterapkan melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti perayaan kebaktian awal bulan, doa dan renungan Kitab Suci sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan pelayanan di gereja.. Selain itu, pada bulan-bulan khusus seperti peryaan hari besar gerejawi peryaan Paskah dan Natal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut berdampak positif pada perilaku siswa, seperti meningkatnya toleransi, disiplin, rasa hormat, solidaritas, serta kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Pendidikan karakter religius terbukti menjadi strategi efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di kalangan siswa, terutama dalam membentuk sikap saling menghargai dan hidup damai dalam keberagaman.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges of sustainable education financing in vocational high schools, which demand managerial innovation based on educational entrepreneurship. Edupreneurship is viewed as a strategic approach oriented not only toward strengthening student competencies but also toward improving school performance and the sustainability of education financing. This study aims to examine in depth how edupreneurship management is implemented to improve performance and financial sustainability at SMK Negeri 1 Glagah Banyuwangi. The research employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies, then analyzed using interactive qualitative data analysis techniques that included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that edupreneurship management integrated with practical learning, production units, and teaching factories can improve school performance while simultaneously strengthening sources of sustainable education financing. Edupreneurship functions as a mutually reinforcing pedagogical and economic instrument within the school management system. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening institutional policies, school leadership, and curriculum integration as prerequisites for the success of edupreneurship in supporting sustainable vocational education financing.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi memiliki peran penting sebagai sarana pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran serta sebagai bentuk inovasi dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dan informasi ke dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Salah satu inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang efektif adalah penggunaan Kahoot, yaitu aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis permainan yang mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Namun, pada lingkungan mitra masih ditemukan keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pendidik dalam mengenal, menggunakan, serta memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran.Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pelatihan pemanfaatan media Kahoot sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif bagi guru di SMPI Ar-Rofi’iyyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM). Data diperoleh melalui observasi, angket respon peserta, dan dokumentasi kegiatan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memperoleh peningkatan keterampilan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital, khususnya Kahoot, sebagai sarana evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis permainan. Pemanfaatan Kahoot mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan antusias serta membantu guru dalam menilai tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang disampaikan

Abstract

Mathematics learning often faces difficulties in conveying complex concepts that are difficult for students to understand. To make the material easier to understand, appropriate learning tools are needed. One effective tool is audiovisual media. SMK Nurul Jadid is a vocational high school committed to providing high-quality vocational education with modern facilities and experienced teachers, so that the learning environment supports the implementation of innovative learning methods such as the use of audiovisual media in mathematics subjects. This study aims to see how the use of audiovisual media affects the mathematics learning process in class X SMK Nurul Jadid. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The results of the study show that audiovisual media is very effective in mathematics learning. The use of this media can attract students' attention, increase learning motivation, and improve students' literacy and numeracy skills.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization and globalization, educational institutions face significant challenges in building and maintaining a positive branding image in the public eye. The branding image of educational institutions—particularly Islamic educational institutions—plays a crucial role in shaping public perception, which in turn influences public acceptance, the improvement of educational quality, and the active participation of various stakeholders. This study aims to explore the role of public relations (PR) strategies in enhancing the branding image of Islamic educational institutions. The method used in this research is library research, by reviewing various relevant literature sources related to public relations, branding image, and their application within the context of Islamic education. The findings indicate that integrated and consistent communication strategies are essential in establishing a credible and positive institutional image. Additionally, the use of social media, the management of social and religious activities, and alumni engagement also contribute significantly to strengthening the branding image of Islamic educational institutions. This study offers a new perspective in understanding the role of public relations in managing the branding image of Islamic education institutions, with the hope of providing valuable insights for the development of Islamic educational management and institutional communication in the future.

Abstract

Pergaulan lintas gender di SMP Islam berada di antara nilai moral keagamaan dan kebutuhan sosial remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan praktik pergaulan lintas gender di SMP Ma'arif NU 1 Purwokerto, menjelaskan relasi sosial dalam pembentukan batas moral dan pengawasan sekolah, serta menilai implikasinya terhadap pendidikan karakter. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan meliputi guru PAI, guru BK, wali kelas, siswa, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sekolah menerapkan pembatasan interaksi melalui pengaturan tempat duduk, pengelompokan kegiatan belajar, serta pengawasan ketat guru. Namun, siswa melakukan negosiasi tersembunyi dengan memanfaatkan ruang dan momen pengawasan longgar. Sekolah menjalin kerjasama dengan orang tua melalui pertemuan rutin setiap tiga bulan. Tantangan terbesar adalah penggunaan ponsel di era digital, yang direspon dengan larangan membawa ponsel tanpa izin. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah penguatan karakter religius melalui sholat Dhuha dan pembacaan Asmaul Husna. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pergaulan lintas gender merupakan proses sosial kompleks yang melibatkan ketegangan antara aturan moral sekolah, kebutuhan sosial remaja, dan negosiasi identitas siswa.
