Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Hindu religious education teachers in internalizing the teachings of Catur Paramita to foster the character of loving-kindness among students at SDN 9 Sumerta. The Catur Paramita teachings maitri (loving kindness), karuna (compassion), mudita (sympathetic joy), and upeksha (equanimity) serve as a fundamental foundation in shaping students’ characters to be caring and empathetic toward others. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that Hindu religion teachers play a strategic role as role models, facilitators, and motivators in instilling Catur Paramita values through thematic lessons, integration of values in daily activities, and reinforcement via direct practices such as social service, group prayers, and value-based discussions. The internalization of Catur Paramita has proven effective in nurturing students' loving character, as reflected in their attitudes of respect, helpfulness, empathy, and tolerance in school social interactions. The study recommends enhancing teacher training in value-based Hindu spiritual pedagogy as part of a holistic character education approach.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of intercultural communication among Papuan students living within diverse student communities in Yogyakarta. Employing a qualitative approach and case study method, the research aims to understand how Papuan students negotiate their cultural identities in a majority non-Papuan cultural environment. Stella Ting-Toomey’s Identity Negotiation Theory serves as the main analytical framework. The findings reveal that cultural identity is negotiated through symbolism, adaptive communication strategies, and the formation of safe community spaces. This research contributes to the underexplored discourse of intra-national intercultural communication studies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Alih kode adalah perpindahan bahasa untuk memperkaya gaya bahasa, sedangkan campur kode melibatkan pemakaian elemen bahasa dari berbagai bahasa. Kedua fenomena ini terjadi karena perbedaan latar belakang antar individu dan merupakan bagian dari kajian Sosiolinguistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali fenomena keduanya dalam interaksi sehari-hari, khususnya di Stasiun Rawabuntu. Metode penelitian Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap dan Simak Libat Cakap, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bahasa Indonesia dominan dalam interaksi formal, sedangkan bahasa daerah dan bahasa asing sering muncul dalam percakapan informal. Alih kode digunakan untuk menunjukkan kesopanan dan kedekatan sosial, sementara campur kode mencerminkan pengaruh bahasa asing dan gaya komunikasi modern. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya kajian sosiolinguistik dan memperdalam pemahaman tentang dinamika penggunaan bahasa.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi ini yang ditandai adanya perubahan dengan merosotnya moralitas, dan spiritual. Dari berbagai fenomena tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan kembali penanaman nilai-nilai agama serta pendidikan karakter. Dengan adanya penerapan ajaran Tri Hita Karana diharapkan dapat membentuk perilaku yang baik pada kelas 3 di Pasraman Saraswati Desa Medowo Kecamatan Kandangan Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Proses Belajar Mengajar siswa kelas 3 di Pasraman Saraswati Desa Medowo Kecamatan Kandangan Kabupaten Kediri, 2) program dan cara mengimplementasi Ajaran Tri Hita Karana untuk membangun perilaku siswa Kelas 3 di Pasraman Saraswati Desa Medowo Kecamatan Kandangan Kabupaten Kediri, 3) nilai-nilai agama Hindu dalam mengimplementasikan ajaran Tri Hita Karana membentuk perilaku siswa kelas 3 di Pasraman Saraswati Desa Medowo Kecamatan Kandangan Kabupaten Kediri. Tergolong sebagai penelitian kualitatif, yang menggunakan Teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ajaran Tri Hita Karana pada siswa kelas 3 di Pasraman Saraswati membentuk perilaku siswa yang baik mampu diterima dengan baik seperti rajin melaksanakan persembahyangan, menjaga kebersihan tempat suci, tidak memiliki rasa iri hati atau dengki kepada teman, mampu berkata yang baik dan sopan kepada siapa saja, tidak menyakiti makhluk hidup, menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan serta mampu menghargai dan menghormati orang yang lebih tua melalui pembiasaan di sekolah ataupun dirumah sehingga terbiasa dalam menjalankannya yang memberikan perubahan yang cukup signifikan

Abstract

SDN Cigugur Tengah Mandiri 2 is a favorite school in Cigugur Tengah Village, Cimahi City, West Java. In this school, there are various academic and non-academic activities, qualified and experienced teaching staff, adequate school facilities that are clean and comfortable, various achievements at the city and provincial levels, and good environmental management. This study aims to determine and describe the leadership behavior of school principals in improving the quality of education at SDN Cigugur Tengah Mandiri 2. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research informant was the principal. Selection of informants using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the leadership behavior of school principals in improving the quality of education is good, this can be seen in resource management, professional development, collaboration, communication, decision-making, monitoring, and school culture.

Abstract

Ma’had Tahfidzul Qur’an, as a nonformal Islamic educational institution, plays a crucial role in expanding access to religious education and nurturing the moral development of youth. However, challenges such as limited funding, infrastructure, and human resources remain prevalent. This study aims to explore how stakeholder collaboration involving institutional leaders, parents, community figures, private sector partners, and local government contributes to improving access and educational quality at Ma’had Tahfidzul Qur’an Darusalam Depok. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through field observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation review, then analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that collaboration is not merely administrative but is rooted in a shared sense of ownership and values. Parents are actively involved in students' learning progress, communities support religious and social programs, and external stakeholders contribute through training and infrastructure support. These collaborative efforts have significantly increased student enrollment, enhanced educational outcomes, and fostered public trust in the institution. The study concludes that well-managed stakeholder collaboration is a vital key to the success and sustainability of nonformal education. These insights offer a potential model for similar institutions aiming to build inclusive, community-based educational environments.

Abstract

The Constitutional Court (MK) is a tangible manifestation of constitutional reform following the amendment of the 1945 Constitution, marking a significant change in Indonesia's constitutional system, particularly in judicial power administration. The Constitutional Court reflects Indonesia's commitment to strengthening checks and balances  in a democratic, law-based constitutional structure. The MK has strategic authority as the constitutional guardian through its functions of reviewing laws against the 1945 Constitution, resolving state institutional authority disputes, settling election result disputes, dissolving political parties, and ruling on parliamentary opinions regarding alleged presidential violations. These authorities make the MK vital in maintaining constitutional supremacy and Indonesian democratic stability. However, in practice, actualising the 1945 Constitution through MK rulings faces various complex challenges, including weak implementation mechanisms at executive and legislative levels, absent sanctions for non-compliance with MK rulings, and judicial activism tendencies potentially disrupting separation of powers and trias politica principles in the constitutional system. Through normative legal approaches and qualitative analysis of MK rulings, this study reveals how the MK serves not only as constitutional interpreter but also as a key actor safeguarding democracy, protecting human rights, and upholding rule of law in Indonesia. This study recommends achieving optimal balance between judicial activism and judicial restraint, while strengthening implementation systems for Constitutional Court decisions to realise actualisation of the 1945 Constitution that is just, sustainable, and responsive to constitutional dynamics. Effective mechanisms must ensure MK decisions translate into meaningful constitutional practice while maintaining institutional boundaries within Indonesia's democratic framework.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of psychological violence that occurs through digital media and has become increasingly prevalent among students. This study aims to examine behavior modification strategies for preventing cyberbullying. This review employs a literature-based approach, analyzing articles published between 2015 and 2024. The findings indicate that cyberbullying has distinct characteristics compared to conventional bullying, particularly in terms of method, intensity, and psychosocial impact. Factors influencing both perpetrators and victims include individual psychological traits, family dynamics, peer pressure, and the school climate. Effective prevention strategies involve responsive counseling-based interventions, strengthening of digital literacy, and collaboration between schools, families, and communities. This research recommends the development of value- and technology-based guidance programs as a preventive and promotive effort to create a safe and empathetic school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahasa evaluatif dalam pidato kampanye calon presiden 2024 berdasarkan kerangka appraisal (Martin & White, 2005), serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data berupa 21 pidato dari tiga capres yang dikumpulkan dari kanal YouTube terpercaya selama masa kampanye 27 November 2023–10 Februari 2024. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ketiga calon presiden memiliki karakteristik kebahasaan yang berbeda dalam menyampaikan evaluasi. Pada Sistem Sikap, Anies Baswedan (AB) dan Prabowo Subianto (PS) lebih dominan menggunakan judgement, dengan frekuensi 90 (AB) dan 82 (PS). Sementara itu, Ganjar Pranowo (GP) lebih menonjolkan affect (42 kehadiran). Pada Sistem Keterlibatan, ketiganya lebih sering menggunakan heterogloss, AB paling dominan (75), diikuti PS (73), dan GP (69). Namun, PS paling banyak menggunakan monogloss (24). Pada Sistem Graduasi, PS paling dominan dalam memperkuat makna (force) dengan 112 kehadiran dan 1 (focus), diikuti AB dengan frekuensi 100 (force) dan 11 (focus), sementara GP memiliki intensitas lebih rendah, yaitu dengan frekuensi 71 (force) dan 2 (focus). Implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMP, khususnya teks pidato adalah bahwa pidato kampanye capres 2024 dapat menjadi bahan ajar yang menarik. Melalui kerangka appraisal, siswa kelas IX dapat belajar menyampaikan pendapat, menunjukkan sikap, melibatkan pendengar, dan memperkuat pesan. Hasil penelitian ini juga dapat mendorong siswa berpikir kritis dalam mendengarkan atau membuat pidato, bekerja sama, dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam berkomunikasi, sehingga siswa lebih siap menghadapi kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the juridical construction related to the mechanism for resolving norm conflicts within the Indonesian legal system, as well as to formulate strategies to strengthen mediation mechanisms in resolving norm conflicts in the future. The existence of differences in regulatory substance between Law Number 12 of 2011 in conjunction with Law Number 13 of 2022 and the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 2 of 2019 has created ambiguity in determining the authority of institutions responsible for resolving norm conflicts between ministerial regulations and laws. This research employs a normative method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that the current regulations regarding mechanisms for resolving norm conflicts within Indonesia's legal system remain inconsistent, resulting in legal uncertainty. Therefore, regulatory reconstruction is necessary to develop a robust, consistent, and procedural norm conflict resolution mechanism.
