Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia, dan kinerja guru merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi kepemimpinan transformasional dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja mereka di SMA Tamansiswa Rancaekek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dari 30 guru yang menjadi sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah mampu meningkatkan motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru. Sebanyak 70% guru melaporkan peningkatan motivasi kerja, yang berujung pada 60% peningkatan kinerja mereka. Temuan ini sejalan dengan teori kepemimpinan transformasional Bass (1990) yang menekankan pentingnya pemimpin yang menginspirasi dan memberikan dukungan bagi pengembangan pribadi dan profesional bawahannya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai peran kepemimpinan transformasional dalam konteks pendidikan dan menyarankan pengembangan lebih lanjut dengan pendekatan yang lebih luas serta metode triangulasi untuk penelitian serupa di masa depan.

Abstract

Di tengah tuntutan akuntabilitas pendidikan tinggi, banyak unit penjaminan mutu terjebak dalam kultur kerja reaktif yang menghambat efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami esensi pengalaman (lived experience) anggota tim penjaminan mutu di bawah kepemimpinan transformasional yang berupaya membangun iklim proaktif. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-fenomenologis, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur dengan empat partisipan (Ketua, Sekretaris, dan Staf) dan dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi lima tema esensial: (1) transformasi identitas dari 'pengawas' menjadi 'mitra strategis'; (2) pemberdayaan melalui stimulasi intelektual; (3) iklim keamanan psikologis sebagai fondasi inovasi; (4) komunikasi transformatif melalui strategi 'dari data menjadi cerita'; dan (5) resolusi konflik berbasis empati. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional secara sistematis merekayasa ulang realitas organisasi dengan menciptakan keamanan psikologis sebagai prasyarat, yang kemudian memungkinkan pemberdayaan intelektual dan diekspresikan melalui komunikasi empatik untuk mengubah kultur reaktif menjadi proaktif.

Abstract

Hakim memiliki kebebasan penuh untuk menilai kekuatan pembuktian dari alat bukti yang diajukan. Tidak ada ketentuan yang mengikat secara ketat mengenai nilai pembuktian dari masing-masing alat bukti tersebut. Dalam konteks teori pembuktian, Indonesia menganut teori pembuktian campuran (gemengde bewijs theorie), yaitu gabungan antara pembuktian bebas dan terikat, maksudnya Hakim memiliki kebebasan menilai bukti, tetapi tetap terikat pada syarat minimal dua alat bukti dan keyakinan. Prinsip minimum bewijs dalam hukum pidana Indonesia, sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 183 KUHAP, menetapkan bahwa seorang terdakwa hanya dapat dijatuhi pidana apabila terdapat sekurang-kurangnya dua alat bukti yang sah dan keyakinan hakim, kemudian Hakim tidak boleh menjatuhkan pidana kepada seseorang kecuali apabila dengan sekurang-kurangnya dua alat bukti yang sah memperoleh keyakinan bahwa suatu tindak pidana benar-benar terjadi dan bahwa terdakwalah yang bersalah melakukannya. Prinsip ini bertujuan menjaga keseimbangan antara kepastian hukum dan perlindungan hak asasi terdakwa. Namun, dalam praktiknya, efektivitas prinsip ini menghadapi tantangan serius, terutama dalam era digital dan dalam kasus-kasus yang bergantung pada keterangan saksi. Bukti elektronik sering sulit diverifikasi keabsahannya, dan saksi dapat dipengaruhi oleh tekanan atau iming-iming. Prinsip ini merupakan bentuk perlindungan terhadap hak asasi terdakwa, mencegah pemidanaan yang sewenang-wenang, dan menjamin bahwa putusan pidana didasarkan pada bukti yang cukup dan meyakinkan. Dalam penulisan ini Peneliti mengkaji. 1. Apa saja tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan prinsip minimum bewijs, khususnya terkait bukti digital dan keterangan saksi? 2. Bagaimana efektivitas prinsip minimum bewijs dalam konteks sistem pembuktian pidana Indonesia. Selanjutnya Peneliti mengkaji dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dan empiris, serta analisis terhadap praktik peradilan dan pendapat para ahli hukum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and formulate strategies for revitalizing Hindu Religious Education in the digital era as an effort to build the religious character of Hindu youth. The paradigm shift in education due to the digital revolution and the globalization of values demands innovation in delivering religious teachings to remain relevant to modern life. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this research highlights the importance of transforming methods, media, and values in Hindu religious education to address the declining religiosity and spirituality among young people. The findings indicate that the use of digital technology such as e-learning, social media, and Hindu religious applications can serve as an effective tool to strengthen students’ understanding and spiritual experience. However, technological utilization must be balanced with the enhancement of religious digital literacy and the internalization of dharmic values to prevent religious superficiality, where religion is understood merely as symbols or digital content. Hindu religious teachers hold a strategic role as facilitators and digital spiritual guides, helping students integrate the teachings of Tat Tvam Asi, Karma Phala, and Ahimsa into both their digital and social lives. By emphasizing value-based pedagogy and reflective learning, the revitalization of Hindu Religious Education in the digital era has the potential to nurture a generation that is digitally literate yet spiritually grounded. The integration of Hindu philosophy, technology, and modern education becomes the key to shaping Hindu individuals who embody dharma able to maintain balance between knowledge, morality, and spirituality amidst the dynamics of social change.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the teachings that play a role in shaping character and environmental awareness within Hindu religious education. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The findings reveal that Hindu religious education provides a strong foundation for individuals to understand and internalize spiritual values deeply. This includes an understanding of philosophical concepts such as karma (the law of cause and effect), dharma (moral duty), and moksha (spiritual liberation), as well as other teachings that guide humans toward the path of perfection. In addition, Hindu education emphasizes spiritual practices such as worship, meditation, and maintaining balance between body, mind, and soul. These practices help cultivate positive traits such as patience, wisdom, and inner peace, which are essential components of character development. Hindu religious education also plays a significant role in instilling a sense of love and respect for nature from an early age. The teachings found in Hindu scriptures provide profound insights into the interconnectedness between humans and the universe. Therefore, Hindu religious education serves as an important pillar in nurturing a young generation that is moral, ethical, and environmentally conscious. However, to ensure that Hindu education remains relevant and effective in addressing contemporary challenges, comprehensive efforts toward improvement and renewal are needed to maximize its positive impact on society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of Catur Paramitha teachings in Hindu Religious Education as an effort to shape the character of young Hindu students. Catur Paramitha, consisting of Maitri (loving-kindness), Karuna (compassion), Mudita (sympathetic joy), and Upeksa (equanimity and emotional balance), serves as an ethical guideline to foster religiosity, empathy, discipline, and inner peace among students. This qualitative study employs a case study approach through classroom observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that the role of teachers as role models and facilitators, supported by interactive lectures, group discussions, and project-based learning, effectively instills the values of Catur Paramitha. Student involvement in religious, social, and community activities further strengthens the internalization of these virtuous values. The study concludes that the internalization of Catur Paramitha can develop young Hindu students who are morally upright, responsible, religious, and harmonious in their relationship with God, fellow humans, and nature.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Hindu Religious Education and Character Education (Budi Pekerti) as a foundational element in shaping the character of Hindu students in schools. In the midst of modern educational challenges marked by moral decline and the erosion of ethical values, Hindu Religious Education and Budi Pekerti play a strategic role in instilling spiritual, moral, and social virtues. Through core teachings such as Tri Kaya Parisudha (purity of thought, speech, and action), Tri Hita Karana (harmony among humans, God, and nature), and Tat Twam Asi (awareness of the oneness of all beings), students are guided to develop faith, ethical awareness, and noble conduct. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using literature review and field observation of classroom practices. The findings indicate that the consistent implementation of Hindu Religious Education and Budi Pekerti, both in school and at home, significantly contributes to fostering disciplined, honest, responsible, and empathetic student character. Thus, this subject acts as a primary foundation in forming young Hindu generations who are virtuous, religious, and capable of navigating global dynamics based on dharma values.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the culture and the society of Solo are represented in the tourism brochure — Tour Packages Solo Raya published by The Department of Culture and Tourism of Surakarta City. The research employes Norman Fairclough’s model of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), examining the text through three level of analysis: textual description, discourse practice interpretation, and social practice explanation. The focus of the study includes: (1) identifying culture representations through lexical choices and narrative patterns, (2) exploring dominant discourse and their underlying ideological and economic interest, (3) examining the process of cultural commodification, and (4) analyzing the role of linguistics inaccuracies in shaping the image of the tourist destination. The findings indicate that the brochure text represents Solo’s culture as a “package of attractions” consumable by tourists, where everyday life is positioned alongside other tourism objects. The dominant discourse that emerges is tourism as a commodity, underpinned by an ideology of local economic development directed toward market appeal. Cultural elements undergo a reduction of meaning when framed merely as entertainment, detached from their social and spiritual contexts. Furthermore, typographical errors,  awkward sentences, and non-standard promotional language illustrate the mismanagement of image construction, potentially undermining the seriousness of Solo’s tourism branding.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of religious behavioral deviations among the younger generation requires an effective preventive method. This study aims to examine the implementation of the habituation method using the ESQ (Emotional Spiritual Quotient) model as a strategy to prevent such deviations. The ESQ model is designed as a tool for mental and spiritual engineering to build strong character and personality. This method is believed to form individuals who are free from the shackles of negative thinking, possess mental resilience in facing problems, and have the personal strength to avoid actions detrimental to themselves and others. Furthermore, this model also aims to build social strength to maintain harmonious relationships with God, other people, and the surrounding environment. These core characteristics developed through the ESQ model are identified as being able to suppress both the internal and external factors that trigger deviant behavior. Therefore, the habituation method based on the ESQ model is proposed as a comprehensive approach to preventing religious behavioral deviations in the younger generation by building an integral foundation of character and spirituality.

Abstract

Ethics refers to intention whether an action may be carried out or not depends on the consideration of good or bad intentions and their consequences. Ethics is rooted in one’s conscience, reflecting how individuals should behave ethically and appropriately based on their personal awareness. However, the community in Simpang Pematang District pays little attention to the ethical development of children, and the overall ethical behavior of adolescents tends to be poor. This situation encouraged the researcher to conduct a study addressing the following questions: What is the ethical condition of adolescents? Does the family environment influence the formation of adolescents’ ethics? And does the community environment influence the development of adolescents’ ethics? The study aimed to examine the influence of both the family and community environments on the ethics of adolescents in Simpang Pematang District, Mesuji Regency. The research was conducted among all Hindu families in the district, with the population consisting of all Hindu households with adolescent children, totaling 60 families. A sample of 30 respondents from Wira Bangun Village, Simpang Pematang Village, and Sido Rukun Village was selected using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire containing 30 items. This quantitative research was analyzed using the Product Moment correlation test at a 5% significance level. The results show that the ethical condition of adolescents, based on assessments from both adolescents and parents, ranged from 2.99 to 3.01 for adolescents and 2.75 to 3 for parents. Furthermore, there is a positive influence between the family environment and adolescents’ ethics, with a correlation value of r = 0.85 greater than 0.25, and similarly, a positive influence between the community environment and adolescents’ ethics, also with a correlation value of r = 0.85 greater than 0.25. It is recommended that families provide good examples of behavior to their children, and that peers become role models for the younger generation so they do not fall into behaviors that violate societal norms in Indonesia.
