Abstract

This study aims to determine the creativity of classroom teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of first graders at Islamic Elementary Scool Khoiriyah Sitiluhur and to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors. This type of research is a field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Methods of data collection use interviews, documentation, and observation. The analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study are as follows: (1) the creativity of classroom teachers in learning to overcome learning difficulties experienced by first grade students at MI Khoiriyah is by using variations of learning methods, variations of learning media and having the ability to manage classes; 2) inhibiting factors include students who are super active at their age who still like to play or seek attention, students' moods are changing and some students have problems with their families and a bad playing environment; while the supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, active, creative and patient teachers and the support of families and communities in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The main challenges in implementing P5-PPRA (Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile) in madrasahs include teachers' limited competence in designing collaborative projects and low student participation. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in enhancing the implementation of P5-PPRA at MIN 1 Pati. Using a qualitative method, this research involved teachers and students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary School) as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically. The results indicate that teachers play a significant role in improving the implementation of P5-PPRA through competency development, motivation, and student monitoring. Therefore, this study recommends that teachers enhance their abilities in developing P5-PPRA and increase student engagement in P5-PPRA activities. These findings underscore the importance of integrating religious and national values in character education within madrasah environments.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the efforts of classroom teachers in improving understanding of Natural science subject in MI. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used observation, interviews, documentation. Data sources from the headmaster, class teacher, subject matter teacher, and students at MI Khoiriyah Pati. Data analysis with data reduction, display, and verification. The results showed that the teacher tried to improve the understanding of the material by providing orientation, apperception, and evaluation to students. The obstacles in improving students' understanding of science are inadequate school facilities, teacher abilities, classroom atmosphere and conditions, and student willingness. Meanwhile, efforts to overcome obstacles, namely teachers strive to use existing media/ facilities at school, attend workshops, provide motivation for students who do not understand the material, use interesting methods, strategies, approaches that are in accordance with students' understanding abilities, and conduct creative innovative learning to increase student interest in learning. The conclusion of the research is the efforts made by teachers by providing apperception, orientation, and evaluation. The obstacles faced are facilities, teacher abilities, classroom atmosphere, and student motivation. Efforts made are using existing facilities at school, attending workshops, innovating innovatively creatively in learning. The impact of the research is that student understanding has increased.

Abstract

The understanding of the concept of unit length conversion in 3rd grade students of SDIT Al Akhyar is still relatively low. This can be seen from the percentage of completeness which is only 24%. For this reason, it is necessary to improve learning. The first step that was chosen was to use the Length unit Conversion ladder media. The purpose of this study was to improve student achievement in learning Mathematics for length unit conversion material using the Conversion Ladder media. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SDIT Al Akhyar. This research went through two cycles. The research phase of each cycle is carried out starting from planning, implementation, observation, data collection, and reflection. The results of the implementation are evaluated in the reflection as the basis for improvement plans in the next cycle. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed an increase in students' ability to convert length units from pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The average value in pre-cycle was only 53.10, cycle 1 increased to 68.96 and cycle 2 became 88.27. The percentage of completeness of students increased from 24% or 7 students who experienced completeness in the pre-cycle, to 55% (16 students) in cycle 1 and 83% or 24 students who completed learning in cycle 2. These findings indicate that the use of ladder media conversion can improve learning outcomes in learning Mathematics in the length unit material.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of the Mind Maps Method on Student Learning Outcomes in Indonesian Language Subject Theme 8 Concerning Nonfiction Texts for Class V MI NU Bahrul Ulum Kudus for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This research aims to determine the effect of the mind maps method on students' learning outcomes in Indonesian Language Topic 8 Concerning Nonfiction Texts for Class V MI NU Bahrul Ulum Kudus for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is quantitative research with regression analysis techniques. The research population was 32 fifth grade students and the sample was 32 respondents. Data collection techniques use questionnaire, documentation and test methods. The research data collected was analyzed using inferential statistical analysis techniques.The results of the research show that the results of the regression calculations that have been found, the results of the b value are positive, indicating that variable If the mind maps method decreases, learning outcomes will also decrease. So, it is estimated that the learning outcomes of MI NU Bahrul Ulum Kudus students are Y = 1.196 + 0.792. From this regression equation, if the value of the mind maps method is added by one, then the value of the learning outcomes will increase by 0.792 or for every value of the mind maps method added by 10, the value of the learning outcomes will increase by 7.92. Meanwhile, the results of the research show that there is a mind maps method for student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject Theme 8 regarding Nonfiction Texts for Class V MI NU Bahrul Ulum Kudus for the 2021/2022 academic year. Based on the value of tcount ttable, it is (7.2082.04227). Supported by a significance value smaller than 0.05, which indicates a value of 0.000. This is shown from the product moment calculation, it turns out that the calculated price is greater than rtable, namely 0.796 0.349 at the 5% level, so it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship.The results of this research show that the Mind Map method has a positive and significant effect on students' learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject Theme 8 Concerning Nonfiction Texts for Class V MI NU Bahrul Ulum Kudus for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

Think Talk Write learning model is one type of communicative learning model that is built through the process of thinking, speaking, and writing. This research uses picture media to help students in writing the content of the essay. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of a communicative learning strategy using the Think Talk Write method with image media in improving the essay writing skills of grade III students at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Mi in May-June 2022. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation from the principal, third grade teacher, and data collection methods used observation, interviews and documentation from the principal, grade III teachers, grade III students and the waka of curriculum of MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong. After the data is collected, it is done by data that supports the formulated research objectives. The data analysis technique used from Miles a Huberman is a technique of finding and compiling data obtained systematically through the process of summarising data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions so that it can be easily understood and can be informed to others. The results of the study prove that the communicative learning strategy of the Think Talk Write method with picture media in improving the skills of writing skills of grade III students at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong are as follows: First, implementing a Learning Strategy here the teacher is required to be able to use a good learning strategy because the strategy is able to provide convenience for educators to students. Therefore, teachers are required to have a learning strategy before learning takes place; second, the importance of learning media, the existence of learning media is able to help educators in learning to convey a material to be given so that children can be very easy and understand when given learning media; third, the importance of essay writing skills, the importance of essay writing skills is able to make students like to write essays. the importance of essay writing skills is able to make students like to write more because the purpose of this study is for children to prefer writing. of this study so that children prefer to write and can write well and in accordance with the applicable spelling because in accordance with the applicable spelling, therefore more emphasis is placed on essay writing skills. writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the AHE (Great Children) tutoring institution of Tawangrejo in improving the reading ability of low-grade students. The government through Government Regulation Number 17 in 2010 concerning Management and Implementation of Education strictly prohibits the existence of tests as a requirement for acceptance of elementary school/Islamic elementary school students. The prohibition is contained in Article 69 paragraph 5 which said, "Acceptance of elementary school/Islamic elementary school students in first grade or other equivalent form is not based on the test results of reading, writing, and arithmetic or others test forms.” However, many parents are worried that their children who have been in 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade of Islamic elementary school have not been able to read. This is the reason why parents send their children to AHE Tutoring of Tawangrejo. This research is a field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study are able to find out the implementation of learning in AHE Tutoring of Tawangrejo, the role of AHE Tawangrejo Tutoring in improving reading skills and the obstacles faced by AHE Tutoring of Tawangrejo.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in science and social learning (IPAS) for Grade IV at Kauman Pati Islamic Elementary School in the 2023/2024 academic year. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through interviews (4 informants: principal, teacher, students), observation, and documentation. Key findings include: (1) Successful curriculum implementation through analysis of Learning Outcomes (CP), formulation of Learning Objectives (TP), and Learning Pathway Designs (ATP). Differentiated learning was applied according to student needs, supported by diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments; (2) Challenges included time constraints in module preparation, inadequate facilities, and adapting teaching aids; (3) Solutions involved utilizing government guidelines, expanding references, and developing creative methods and teaching tools. The findings highlight the necessity of systemic support and stakeholder collaboration for curriculum optimization. This research contributes practically to the development of Merdeka Curriculum-based science and social learning in religious-based elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) To find out the self control of students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022. 2) To find out the tolerance of students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022. 3) To determine the effect of self-control on students' tolerance at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022. The type of research used is research conducted in the field or field research. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. This research took 50% of the sample from the existing population. This research was conducted from 4 August to 4 September 2022. Data collection techniques were in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses a simple regression formula. This research concludes: 1) The Self Control of students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022, an average of 33.46, is in the good category, because it is in the interval 30 – 35. 2) The tolerance that exists in students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022, the average score of 32.98 is in the good category, because it is in the interval 30 – 35. 3) There is an influence of self-control on the tolerance of students at MI I `anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati 2022. This is shown from the results of the questionnaire calculation of = 1.521, which is a value greater than rtable = 0.2181 for a significance level of 5%. Meanwhile, at the 1% significance level for respondents totaling N = 58, we get rtable = (df = N - 2) namely (58 – 2 = 56) meaning rtable = 0.2181 while rcount = 1.521 which means rcount is greater than rtable (rcount rtable). Thus, at the 1% significance level, the results are significant, which means there is a correlation between the two variables. This shows that rcount is significant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of talking stick learning on social studies learning outcomes for geographical characteristics and natural features of Indonesia. This research is a quantitative experimental research with a pretest posttest control group research design. The independent variable in this study is the walking stick learning model, while the dependent variable is learning outcomes. The population in this study was the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Setu Kulon, Weru District, Cirebon Regency as many as 56 students. The sampling technique used a saturated sample, the experimental class was 28 students and the control class was 28 students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments used were tests and questionnaires. Data analysis used the n-gain test and t-test with a significant level of 5% using the SPSS application. The results of the questionnaire showed that 94% of students had a positive response and 6% had a negative response to the walking stick learning model which was categorized as Very Strong. The results of the t test are tcount (4.985) ttable (1.706) then H1 is accepted. This proves that there is an influence of the walking stick learning model on the social studies learning outcomes for the material on Geographical Characteristics and Natural Appearance of Indonesia.
