Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation and outcomes of the Tahfiizh Program in enhancing cognitive abilities and religious values among children at MI Terpadu Al Madani. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews (with school principals, Tahfiizh mentors, and students), observation, and documentation. Key findings include: (1) The program’s implementation involves three stages: a) Preparation by the principal and formation of a mentoring team; b) Execution through stimulating problem-solving and creative thinking during Quranic memorization; c) Evaluation, which demonstrated increased student motivation and academic achievement. (2) The program successfully improved children’s cognitive functions (memory, problem-solving, creativity) and fostered early attachment to the Quran. Interviews confirmed significant cognitive enhancement post-program. In conclusion, the Tahfiizh Program not only supports intellectual development but also strengthens religious values through a structured and holistic approach, aligning academic and spiritual growth.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the intensity of teachers participating in KKGMI, determine the quality of teacher teaching, and quantitatively analyse whether or not there is an effect of the intensity of teachers participating in KKGMI and its implications for improving the quality of teacher teaching in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Pati District for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is field research with a correlational type using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the KKGMI Team in Pati Subdistrict in June 2022. The sample of this research is all MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict, totalling 33 respondents with saturated sampling. The variables in this study consist of the independent variable is the intensity of teachers in attending KKGMI Pati Subdistrict, and the dependent variable is the quality of teaching MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale model. The data analysis used in this research is simple regression analysis.The results showed that: 1) The intensity of teachers following KKGMI in MI Pati District is and shows that the intensity of teachers following KKGMI MI in Pati District as much as 15% of the intensity of teachers following KKGMI Very High Category, respondents as much as 6% High Category, respondents as much as 36% Medium Category, respondents as much as 24% Low Category, and respondents as much as 18% of the intensity of teachers following KKGMI Very Low Category. 2) The improvement in the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the 2021/2022 academic year shows that the improvement in the quality of teaching of teachers is as much as 18% of the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the very good category, respondents as much as 64% of the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the good category, respondents as much as 18% of the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the sufficient category. 3) There is a positive and significant influence between the intensity of teachers participating in KKGMI and the quality of teaching of teachers in MI in Pati Subdistrict for the 2021/2022 academic year. This is evidenced by the results of Fcount Ftable (6.485 4.18) at the 5% significance level which indicates that H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted.

Abstract

Child education is a crucial aspect for the development of children in the future. Therefore, parents have the obligation to educate, teach and train their children to become happy individuals in this world and the hereafter. This shows that education has significant importance. One of the methods that can be used in educating children is the method of habituation according to Al-Ghazali. This method of habituation has high relevance with child education in the modern era. This study aims to explore Al-Ghazali's ideas about the urgency of the habituation method in educating children and its relevance in the modern era. This research is a literature review since the data were obtained from various literature sources that have relevance to the research. The method and approach used in this research are qualitative descriptive. The analysis used content analysis by analyzing the relevant text content with the research. The primary data sources are the books "Ihya' Ulumuddin" and "Ayyuhal Aulad," both of which are works of Al-Ghazali. Meanwhile, the secondary data sources include various books and journals relevant to the research. The research results show that Al-Ghazali's habituation method can help parents in shaping their children's good character and avoiding negative behavior. The habituation method in child education has significant meaning because it can determine whether a child can be good or bad. This habituation method is highly relevant in the modern era since children nowadays are more accustomed to using social media, which leads to negative behavior. Parents need to adapt the habituation method according to the needs and characteristics of their children while also considering environmental and social factors in the process of habituation. Therefore, the concept of Al-Ghazali's habituation method can be an alternative in educating children in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to describe the implementation of the madrasah diniyah programme in developing Islamic religious education at MI Hidayatul Islam Gemong, and (2) to determine the contribution of the madrasah diniyah programme to the development of Islamic religious education materials at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach of case study research type. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The main data source in this research is in the form of words and actions of informants, the rest is data from observation and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found that; (1) The implementation of the madrasah diniyah programme in developing Islamic religious education at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong includes three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The form of implementation is in the form of Islamic religious education learning activities in the classroom and also holding habituation activities. and also the implementation of the madrasah diniyah programme at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong, all students are required to take part in the madrasah diniyah programme with the aim of developing students' knowledge of Islamic religious education material. The madrasah diniyah programme is carried out on Monday to Saturday, the time is after Formal learning activities. The activities are in the form of Islamic religious learning using several methods such as lectures, exercises/drills, stories, memorisation, and tours; (2) The contribution of the madrasah diniyah programme to the development of Islamic religious education materials at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong is to increase students‘ knowledge in the field of Islamic religious education such as prayer material and tajweed, and improve students’ ability to write Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the efforts of madrasa heads in guiding students when using cellphones and what are the inhibiting and supporting factors regarding the efforts of madrasa heads in guiding students when using cellphones at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Gembong for the 2022/2023 academic year. The practical benefit of this research is that it can provide input in efforts to guide students when using cellphones at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Gembong and the results of this research can be used as input in developing the curriculum. As for the theoretical benefits, it can enrich the literature, especially regarding the use of cellphones. This type of research is field research, with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses interview and documentation techniques. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive analysis. This research will search for and describe the completeness of symptoms, events and cases or activities that are closely related to the efforts of the madrasah head in guiding students when using cellphones at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Gembong for the 2022/2023 academic year. The results of this research show that: First, the madrasah head's efforts in guiding students when using cellphones in the madrasah are by giving advice to students and drawing closer attention to the students. Second, inhibiting and supporting factors regarding the madrasa head's efforts to guide students when using cellphones at MI Miftahul Ulum Gembong for the 2022/2023 academic year. At this point there are internal and external factors. The inhibiting factors in this research are internal factors external factors. Internal factors include: a) The existence of online learning which makes it more difficult for teachers to guide students when using cellphones; b) Lack of follow-up from students. External factors include a lack of parental attention to students. Supporting factors in this research include internal factors external factors. Internal facts include: a) Active teacher control over students; b) There is a response from students when being advised by the teacher. Meanwhile, external factors are support from parents to the school.

Abstract

Excellent educational institutions are institutions that develop the uniqueness of the school in a learning to be mastered by students. The purpose of this study is to describe the management of social capital in developing superior educational institutions in the local area. The object of the study is an educational institution founded by Muslimat NU Branch Kudus, namely SD Muslimat NU Superior. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, researchers used a single case analysis technique (single case design). The analysis process is carried out simultaneously with data collection through several stages through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification or drawing conclusions. The results show that building and managing social capital appropriately is able to build superior institutions in a faster time. The three main elements of social capital are: trust, which is built from exemplary moral education, knowledge and skills. The manifestation of this trust is the formation of the suggestion “My School is My Home.”; networks (networks are built based on communication, involvement and coordination; while shared values are based on discipline, hard work, togetherness, simplicity, independence, patience and tolerance which are the elaboration of the values contained in Aswaja.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation strategy of the Nationalism Character Education Strengthening Program through the “Pocil” (Little Police) Program at MI Terpadu Al Madani Margorejo Pati, as well as its supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation strategy of the Pocil Program involves careful planning, collaboration with Polsek Margorejo, comprehensive socialization, and program execution under professional supervision. The materials provided include marching drills (PBB), patriotism, and national insight. The program evaluation is conducted annually at the end of the academic year by Polsek Margorejo. The supporting factors include facilities and dedicated time provided by the school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include time constraints from Polsek Margorejo and schedule conflicts with other activities.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual based powerpoint media on student interest in learning in class V MI Miftahul Falah Bodeh, especially in science subjects. The theoretical benefits of this research can add to the science of science learning and can develop the quality of education in the current era optimally using technology through audio-visual-based powerpoint media. While the practical benefits provide new insights in teaching about the importance of using learning media, for students to be more aware that the importance of using powerpoint media as a learning medium that helps students digest and understand the material presented in science lessons so as to increase student interest in learning. This type of research is an experiment with a quantitative approach that uses primary data as a source of research information data. This study used a one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observation, documentation. While the data analysis technique uses preliminary analysis, hypothesis analysis, and further analysis. The results showed that audio-visual based powerpoint media had an effect on the learning interest of grade V students in science subjects. The results obtained from the t-test are the value of ?ℎ????? which is 7.441 with a frequency (db) of 15 -2 = 13, at a significant level of 5% (0.05) obtained ?????? which is 1.771. So obtained ?ℎ????? ?????? = 7.441 1.771 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so the hypothesis in this study is accepted, namely audio-visual based powerpoint media has an effect on the learning interest of grade V students in science subjects at MI Miftahul Falah Bodeh Pucakwangi Pati.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mengetahui Implementasi, kendala, dan solusi Metode Jarimatika Perkalian pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika Kelas IV di MI Darun Najah Ngemplak Kidul Pati. Manfaat teoritis penelitian ini adalah dapat memberikan manfaat dan memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan pendidikan khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematika, serta diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode jarimatika.Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan (Field Research) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian bersumber dari sumber primer yaitu 1) kepala sekolah, 2) guru mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV, dan 3) siswa kelas IV MI Darun Najah Ngemplak Kidul Pati. Sedangkan sumber sekunder yang bersumber dari dokumen atau arsip di MI Darun Najah Ngemplak Kidul. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah 1) wawancara (interview), 2) obsevasi, dan 3) dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi 1) reduksi data (data reduction), 2) penyajian data (data display), 3) verifikasi (clonclusion drawing).Hasil penelitian ini adalah metode jarimatika perkalian cukup berhasil diterapkan pada SD maupun MI yang ada di seluruh Indonesia termasuk MI Darun Najah Ngemplak Pati. Kendala yang dirasakan guru Mata Pelajaran Matematika di MI Darun Najah saat menggunakan metode ini adalah a) Terdapat siswa yang masih belum memahami rumus hitung jarimatika, dan b) Kurangnya hafalan siswa akan perkalian kecil 1-5. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi kendala pembelajaran adalah dengan menanamkan pemahaman kepada para guru bahwa tidak semua siswa dapat dengan mudah mempelajari metode ini. Untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa bisa menggunakan cara penghafalan rumus pada setiap pertemuan seperti yang telah diterapkan di MI Darun Najah Ngemplak Pati. Dengan cara ini, para siswa merasa terbantu akan metode yang diajarkan oleh para guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab pemberian pekerjaan rumah (PR) pada siswa dikerjakan oleh orang tua siswa dan solusi untuk mengatasi penyebab pemberian pekerjaan rumah (PR) pada siswa dikerjakan oleh orang tua. Manfaat Praktis dalam penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan saran yang baik bagi sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu dan dapat meningkatkan tanggung jawab para siswa khususnya dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah (PR). Sedangkan manfaat teoritis dalam penelitian ini yaitu dapat dijadikan bahan kajian terutama yang berkaitan dengan kasus pemberian pekerjaan rumah (PR) pada siswa yang dikerjakan oleh orang tua siswa.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Jenis penelitan yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (Field Research) dimana penelitian turun secara langsung di lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian yang menjadi sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) guru kelas, 2) wali murid, dan 3) siswa di MI Mazro’atul Ulum Suwaduk. Sedangkan sumber data sekunder dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumen dan arsip data di MI Mazro’atul Ulum Suwaduk. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahap, meliputi 1) reduksi data (data reduction), 2) penyajian data (data display), dan 3) penarikan kesimpulan (conclusion drawing).Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah enam dari sepuluh siswa mengeluh dalam mengerjakan PR dan tidak mengerjakan PR dengan berbagai alasan. Siswa keberatan dan tidak mau menyelesaikan soal-soal praktikum yang dianggap besar, siswa malas dan tidak mau mengerjakan soal-soal yang dianggap sulit, sehingga memilih mengandalkan orang tua maupun menjiplak jawaban temannya. Ketidak tanggung jawaban dari siswa yang menjadikan orang tua ikut serta mengerjakan PR siswa. Adapun faktor penyebab pemberikan PR pada siswa dikerjakan oleh orang tua di MI Mazro’atul Ulum Suwaduk adalah 1) faktor anak, 2) faktor orang tua, 3) faktor guru, dan 4) faktor sekolah. Sedangkan solusi untuk mengatasi penyebab pemberian PR pada siswa dikerjakan oleh orang tua di MI Mazro’atul Ulum Suwaduk adalah 1) komunikasi antara guru dan orang tua, serta 2) program bimbingan les gratis.
