Abstract

Aqidah, as an essential part of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Development element in the Independent Curriculum, should have continuous learning outcomes and teaching materials from elementary to secondary school levels. Ideally, the Independent Curriculum should provide significant space for developing religious and moral values in education while promoting tolerance toward diverse beliefs and cultures to create an inclusive environment. This contributes to the formation of strong character and a spirit of unity in diversity. To obtain an overview of the continuity of learning outcomes and teaching materials for PAI and Character Development in the aqidah element, a mapping based on the characteristics of aqidah itself is necessary. This study employs a qualitative approach using content analysis methods. The data sources consist of documents from the Independent Curriculum for the PAI and Character Development subject, analyzed through document studies. The findings indicate that the Ilahiyyah dimension is present in all curriculum phases. In contrast, the Nubuwwat dimension is explicitly found in phases A, B, and D. The Ruhaniyyah dimension is only found in phases A and D. In contrast, the Sam’iyyat dimension appears in phases A, C, and D. The teaching materials also show a gradual progression, from introducing basic concepts in elementary school to critical analysis in high school. These findings suggest that while there is continuity in the curriculum, the distribution of materials across phases still needs evaluation to ensure better integration in aqidah learning.

Abstract

This study uses descriptive qualitative methods to explore the internalization of the value of Tafaqquh Fiddin in the Persis 84 Ciganitri Islamic Boarding School. This study found that Tafaqquh Fidiin, as the spirit of Q.S At-Taubah verse 122, is the principal value of Education revived in all learning activities in Islamic Boarding Schools. The results of this study show that the concept of Tafaqquh Fiddin at the Persis 84 Ciganitri Islamic Boarding School in the learning process is reflected in the content of the religious curriculum and takhasus, the study of the book of tafsir, and the essence of Tafaqquh Fiddin is not only in the understanding of the students but at the same time how it goes hand in hand with deeds. The process of internalizing the value of Tafaqquh Fiidin through the study of the book of tafsir at the Persis 84 Ciganitri Islamic Boarding School through 3 stages: cognitive understanding, Affection or emotional acceptance, and behaviour change. Tafaquh fiddin is accepted as a value that students revive through studying the book of tafsir. The impact of the Internalization of Tafaqquh fiddin through the study of the book of tafsir includes changes in subjective reality and self-identity, namely students are inspired to become mufassir, students can make written works of tafsir, and students can read tafsir from the source of their book of tafsir, so from the internalization of Tafaqquh fiddin through the study of the book of tafsir becomes a manifestation of the effort to give birth to the generation of thaifah liyataffaqahu fiddin which is desired in Q.S At-Tauabah verse 122.

Abstract

This study examines the application of khiyar rights, specifically as outlined in DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 146/DSN-MUI/XII, on e-commerce transactions from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence. Consumer dissatisfaction and ethical challenges have emerged as modern digital transactions through online shops become more prevalent. These concerns underline the necessity for a Sharia-compliant framework to safeguard buyers and sellers. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach and content analysis, this research delves into primary sources such as the Qur'an, hadith, and the fatwa, supplemented by secondary literature, including journals and scholarly works. The analysis focuses on three types of khiyar—khiyar majlis, khiyar syarat, and khiyar aib—contrasting their treatment in the four major Islamic schools of thought: Syafi'iyah, Hanabilah, Hanafiyah, and Malikiyah. Findings reveal that DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 146 aligns closely with the Syafi'iyah and Hanabilah perspectives by validating khiyar majlis and khiyar aib within the digital context, while still leaving khiyar syarat underexplored. The study underscores the importance of expanding the fatwa to provide a comprehensive framework for all forms of khiyar, addressing procedural specifics for online transactions. This research contributes to the discourse on integrating traditional Islamic legal principles into contemporary economic practices, fostering fairness and adherence to Sharia in digital marketplaces. Further efforts by DSN-MUI are recommended to enhance clarity and implementation standards for khiyar rights in e-commerce.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the literature on applying artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials to evaluate its effectiveness in enhancing interaction and learning quality. This literature review explores how AI can facilitate interactive and adaptive learning experiences tailored to students' needs while strengthening the overall effectiveness of PAI instruction. This study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review, analyzing 30 sources from the past decade (2014–2024) related to educational technology, AI implementation, and PAI teaching materials. Previous research indicates that AI in PAI materials can personalize learning, provide real-time feedback, and improve student engagement with the content. However, AI may also reduce interpersonal interaction in religious discussions. Therefore, integrating AI with discussion-based learning is recommended for optimal outcomes. The development of AI-based PAI materials has the potential to enhance learning effectiveness and foster more dynamic interactions in the digital era. Academically, the research emphasizes the significance of hybrid learning that combines AI with active learning methods and underscores the need to balance technology with teacher-student interaction in education.
