Abstract

Quantitatively, the number of preachers who preach through writing is much less than preachers who use spoken language. Therefore, this paper focuses on efforts to improve sermon text-writing skills. This paper uses action research, which is one type of qualitative research. This action research examines things that happen in the community or target group, where the results can be directly worn or felt by the community or target group. The result of this research is the achievement of increased skills, as evidenced by the results of the pretest and post-test. Besides that, there are several inhibiting and supporting factors in the efforts of mosque youth to improve sermon writing skills.

Abstract

The application of the Merdeka curriculum in fiqh learning is a form of response to the presence of the era of society 5.0, which invites every individual to continue to develop their potential independently adapted to technological sophistication. The purpose of this study is to examine and study the application of the Merdeka curriculum in fiqh learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach based on phenomenology with the intention of collecting data through observation, interviews, and document studies. Research data obtained through interviews, observation, and document study were then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum based on multiculturalism in conceptually learning fiqh in madrasas has formulated fiqh material through integration with the study of classical books (the yellow book). Students are given freedom and flexibility in studying and dissecting various literature that contains the study of fiqh. The structure of the Merdeka curriculum in fiqh learning implemented by this Madrasah is centered on the study of worship fiqh, mu'amalat fiqh, munakahat fiqh, roses fiqh, and jinayat fiqh

Abstract

This research highlights the urgency of investigating teaching methods and curricula in Salafi educational institutions, specifically Ma'had Dar al-Qur'an and al-Hadith al-Majidiyyah al-Syafi'iyyah Nahdlatul Wathan Lombok. Despite the rapid development of modern curriculum and teaching methods, this institution maintains a traditional approach with seated learning and a classical curriculum. This study is a qualitative research focusing on literature and sources related to conventional Salafi education. The findings are as follows: Firstly, the institution's traditions persist, maintaining the study of classical Islamic texts through talaqqy or halaqah, teacher reverence, knowledge transmission, moral behavioral norms, and haflah. Secondly, the fundamental ideology is rooted in Islam, ahl al-Sunnah wa al-jama'ah, influenced by the theological thoughts of Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Asya'ri and Abu Mansur al-Maturidi in Aqeedah and the philosophical thoughts of Imam al-Ghazali and Imam Junaid al-Baghdadi in Sufism. Thirdly, the Institute's vision is to produce knowledgeable Islamic cadres proficient in the Quran, Hadith, and Salafusshalih texts. This research provides valuable insights into Salafi Islamic education in Lombok and its broader implications for education and society, enriching our understanding of the dynamics of Salafi Islamic education in a specific local context.

Abstract

The number of students who do not actively participate in the teaching and learning process, such as rarely asking questions or voicing ideas, and also not reacting to the teacher's answers, one of the triggers is that the learning approach in Aqidah Akhlak subjects focuses more on teachers lecturing students and telling stories so that learning activities tend to be mainly carried out by teachers even though an educator plays a vital role in the achievement of an effective learning process. This study aims to analyze the effect of scientific methods on increasing student interest in learning aqidah subjects. By using a quantitative descriptive method through a saturated sampling technique involving 30 students with pree-test and post-test with sig value indicator 0.05 along with hypothesis testing and resulting in the conclusion that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected based on the influence of scientific methods on learning motivation (tcount> ttable, namely 4.760> 2.048). This shows that learning motivation is strongly influenced by scientific-based learning. Although 55.3% of the influence is caused by causes other than the desire to learn, 44.7% of the influence is of high quality. From the determination test data, it can be concluded that the scientific method influences learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and implement the Line Follower Robot Trainer as an innovative effort to advance Islamic education in facing the Society 5.0 era. The research focuses on SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng, Lamongan, as a case study, where robotic technology is used as a learning tool to integrate Islamic concepts with technological advances. This research proposes the Research and Development (R&D). The results showed that using the Line Follower Robot Trainer significantly improved students' understanding of their technological skills. The survey showed that most students (85%) felt more engaged and excited about learning Islam with the help of the Line Follower Robot Trainer. Students reported higher levels of engagement in learning with the robot, and teachers expressed positive support for using this technology in learning. These positive results reflect the potential of technology in enriching students' experiences in preparing for changes in the evolving Society 5.0 era. This research provides a greater understanding of the role of technology in supporting Islamic education, bridging the gap between tradition and innovation, and bringing Islamic education into an increasingly digitized future. The implications of this research can help Islamic education institutions utilize technology as a powerful tool to spread religious values and prepare students to face an increasingly digitally connected era.

Abstract

This study has the purpose of observing the usage of machine learning as a new way of teaching Islamic education according to the Qur'an and hadith to the young generation. The method used for data collection is bibliometrics, using secondary data in the form of metadata on the Scopus website. The sample is divided into two charts: the Qur'an and the hadith. Around 49 samples were found for the Qur'an category and 16 for the Hadith category. The data was analyzed using bibliometric methods with two software. The result of this study was that the most used words in the author's keywords for Qur'an subjects were machine learning SVM, KNN, and ANN. This means that SVM, KNN, and ANN were used for certain purposes and situations in analyzing the interpretation result inside the text of the Qur'an done by Ulamas. The practical implication of this study is to be used as a reference for Islamic education in Indonesia to use machine learning features.

Abstract

Marginalized communities, such as children in remote areas with various limitations in the economic, geographical and educational fields they face, all the limitations that cause underdevelopment, especially in the field of Education, these children lack enthusiasm for learning at school. This research was conducted at SDN Kalipenggung 04, Randuagung, Lumajang. This research aims to find out how the results of the implementation of Community-based Education Learning increase the enthusiasm for learning in schools so that schools with a mountainous geographical background and far from urban areas can achieve achievements, especially in the field of athletics or by the potential possessed by many students so that students can make maximum use of what they already have This research uses a qualitative approach of case study type using an explanatory analysis model. The results of this study show that implementing Community-based Education in increasing the enthusiasm for learning of marginalized children has proven to increase the interest of marginal children. This is evidenced by some of the achievements they have achieved both at the district and provincial levels.

Abstract

Having a wealth of potential mangrove resources, Pagatan Besar village has the opportunity to develop a sustainable ecotourism sector. This development must be directed at minimizing negative impacts on the environment and ensuring that the welfare of local communities increases. This research aims to find strategies for developing mangrove swamp ecotourism potential in Pagatan Besar village by optimizing the role of the Community based on Maqashid al Syari'ah. Qualitative research using a case study method in the mangrove swamp ecotourism area found that the strategy applied in developing the tourism potential of the mangrove swamp ecotourism area in the region was to implement a transparent accounting system to manage ecotourism income and expenditure, forming a special team to allocate initial investment funds and on the necessary infrastructure, maintaining the security and comfort of tourists with regular security audits, updating the security system through technology such as CCTV cameras. Optimizing the role of the Community is carried out by involving residents in skills training programs in the mangrove ecotourism sector, regular meetings for input and ideas, overcoming gaps in cultural and religious values with cross-sector consultation groups involving religious, cultural and village government leaders in the integration of Maqashid values al Syari'ah in the ecotourism plan, increasing environmental awareness through healthy environmental education for tourists and residents in daily ecotourism activities.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the effect of social media use on students' ability to write scientific papers in an educational environment, especially at the Ngawi Institute of Islamic Religion. Quantitative methods are used to obtain objective and numerically measurable results. By using the regression test and the coefficient of determination, the results show that the use of social media has a significant impact on the ability to write scientific papers of students, with a calculated t value of 6.128, which is greater than the t value of 1.195 with a significance of 0.00 <0.05. from this value, social media has a positive and significant influence on student's ability to write scientific papers and an R-value of 0.150. From this output, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.053. The coefficient of determination means that the effect of the independent variable (social media) on the dependent variable (ability to write scientific papers) is 5.3%. This research article is expected to provide insights for educational institutions in designing policies and strategies that support student learning in the digital era and provide practical guidance for students in managing time and using social media wisely.

Abstract

This research delves into the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Arabic language learning model with the aim of enhancing Arabic speaking skills for non-native speakers. The background of this research arises from the complexity of Arabic language learning, which requires not only an understanding of grammar and vocabulary but also proficiency in speaking with an accurate accent and intonation. The research methodology includes the selection of suitable AI algorithms, the development of a prototype model, and further testing on non-native speakers at the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) al-Yasini, Pasuruan. The utilization of AI technology is expected to provide innovative solutions to address individual learning needs in the context of the Arabic language. Mid-term evaluation results indicate that the AI learning model can positively impact Arabic speaking skills, although improvements are still necessary. User response analysis provides valuable insights that serve as the basis for further model refinements. Suggestions for future research include further development of the AI model, broader testing across various non-native speaker groups, and the integration of user feedback to enhance Arabic speaking skills holistically. The implications of these research findings are expected to significantly contribute to the development of adaptive and innovative Arabic language learning.
