Sabagai bagian dari organisasi PSPII, Pengurus Wilayah PSPII berkomitmen untuk menjalankan visi dan misi PSPII yang dituangkan dalam salah satu program unggulan yang berupa piblikasi ilmiah hasil riset untuk kemajuan bidang ilmu pendidikan Islam. Anggota PSPII, khususnya dari Kalimantan barat, bersama para penulis lainya dapat menerbitkan artikel hasil risetnya di NGAJI: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam. Selain itu, para penulis di bidang pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan Islam, dari semua kalangan juga dapat mengirim naskahnya untuk diterbitkan di NGAJI: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam. Semua naskah yang diterima oleh dewan redaksi NGAJI: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam akan diproses melalui peninjauan sebaya yang dilakukan oleh para pakar di bidang pendidikan Islam sehingga naskah yang terbit merupakan naskah yang layak menurut para pakar yang telah melakukan peninjauan sebaya tersebut. Abstract

This essay is written to introduce the history of Sultanate in West Kalimantan, especially to convey the history of Pontianak named (1) The purpose of the Sultanate in developing Islamic Education in 1771-1808, (2) Education curricula of the Sultanate in 1771-1808, and (3) The method of Islamic education of the Sultanate in 1771-1808. The author uses qualitative research, technically in library research, using two primary informants of data: a key master of Kadriyah palace and a key master of Jami’ Mosque of Sultan Syarief Abdurrahman Al-Qadrie. The technique used for gathering data is in-depth interview and documentation. Furthermore, the author uses accumulation, redaction, and drawing to a conclusion as the analysis data. Results indicate that 1) The goal of the Sultanate in developing Islamic Education is leading for society. 2) Curriculum used in teaching practice is Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Al-Qur’an, Hadist, and the book of al-Uum based Ahlussunnah Waljamaah. 3) Method used in Islamic education practice is lecturer method as well as in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Today, information can be accessed from various facilities, ranging from paper, radio, and television to smartphones. The amount of information found everywhere makes some people accept a news without filtering the truth of the news. As a result of this people's inaccuracy, various false news circulating in this millennial era is called a hoax. Circulation of fraud among the people, especially in Indonesia is inevitable. Multiple cases have occurred. In fact, according to a survey conducted by Ricky Firmansyah in 2017, stated that hoax news in Indonesia has spread on internet sites by 34.9%, television 8.7%, print media 5%, email 3.7%, and radio 1.2%. Faced with these problems, it is important to look at the view of the Qur'an on the phenomenon of the spread of hoax news. Of course, there is no doubt that the Qur'an is in the highest believed position for the guideline of life for all mankind, especially Muslims. One solution offered by Al-Qur'an related to anticipating the spread of hoax news is the tabayyun attitude. This manner is noted in QS. al-Hujurat verse 6. It is a discipline to examine and select any report, not in a hurry in deciding issues of law, policy and so on until the problem is apparent. Although this term seems classic, but the terminology of tabayyun is more interesting and relevant in overcoming the existing problems, especially in the current information age.

Abstract

Every child brings good potential when born. For some people, the wrong understanding of children's lives in analogical sentences is like a white paper, forming education done when they reach adulthood. As a result, children seem slow to receive learning culture from their parents. All the excellent potential they brought from birth motivated their parents to educate as early as possible. This good potential has been described in the hadiths related to children's potential. This argument is interesting for the author to convey the meaning of children's potential through the perspective of the hadith. The author uses literature study in the research method by searching for sources related to children's potential in the hadith. The results show that the good potential children carry from birth can be the initial capital on the way to being a godly servant. This is evidenced by several traditions of the Prophet Muhammad Saw, which indirectly mentions the potential of children. These traditions are the hadith narrated by Bukhari numbers 1385 and 5467 and the hadith narrated by Abu Daud numbers 495 and 5105.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia still has a propensity to fully and deeply theoretical comprehensive cognitive aspects compared to students' skill and learning experience. As the facilitator in learning, teachers have to teach and be able to be a figure and a role model for either students or communities. In this case, the study aims to describe teachers' professionalism from the Islamic perspective. Teachers' problem in the teaching process is in the organizational learning system, which tends to be static and not really flexible. Meanwhile, a revolution of information technology presses the teacher to be dynamic for bringing on the civilized generation without losing the moral value. Professional teachers' identity to the students has Islamic values which are conformable with the competitions that should be own; thus, teachers should be prepared in adapting to the needs of the millennial era and connected with the Islamic teaching, like Ulul Albab, Al-Ulamaa', Al Muzakki, Ahl Ad-Dzikr, and Ar-Raskhun fi 'Ilm.

Abstract

This article aims to review the value and benefits of the Keleleng tradition in the Punggur Kecil Village community's farming system, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. This study uses an axiological approach to reveal how existing values ​​can regulate the bonding of society to one another so as to create brotherhood. This research is descriptive qualitative research using a literature review combination reinforced by observations of field life and a series of interviews. Data were collected through literature collection and field observations. The data obtained are described accordingly. The activities carried out in the data analysis process, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that there are local wisdom values ​​contained in the tradition of keleleng in Punggur Kecil Village, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province, namely: the value of discipline and responsibility, the value of cooperation, the value of kinship, the value of caring, the value of generosity, the value of leadership. These seven values ​​become ethics and aesthetics formed in the social system so that there is a closeness between the local people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the methods of moral education in the book Al-Akhlak Li Al Banin Volume 1-2 by Shaykh Umar Baraja. Where morals are very urgent at this time. The urgency of moral education as a solution to current problems can be seen with the implementation of the 2013R curriculum in the world of education. but this is not yet the right solution that can change the morals of children, especially instantaneously. Collaboration between schools, communities and especially parents is required. Parents are the main elements in carrying out moral education. The research method used is library research with the analysis technique is content analysis. The results obtained are the method of moral education in the translation of Al-Akhlak Li Al Banin volumes I and II by Shaykh Umar Baraja, which is carried out in three forms: First, direct communication methods Second, the method of guidance with advice. Third, the method of guidance with practice or habituation. The rationale for moral education is Al-Qur'an and Hadith. Al-Qur'an and Hadith have always been used as guidelines for the teachings of Islam. The concept of children's moral education in the translation of Al-Akhlak Li Al Banin Volume 1-2 by Shaykh Umar Baraja is to have good morals since childhood, familiarize oneself with good morals, examples of bad morals, the obligation to glorify Allah SWT, the obligation to glorify the prophet. muhammad saw, manners to people, children who do not have manners, have a trustworthy nature (can be trusted), carry out an attitude of obedience.   Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui metode pendidikan akhlak yang ada dalam kitab Al-Akhlak Li Al Banin Jilid 1-2 Karya Syaikh Umar Baraja. Dimana akhlak merupakan hal yang sangat urgen saat ini. Urgensi pendidikan akhlak sebagai solusi permasalahan saat ini terlihat dengan diberlakukanya kurikulum 2013R dalam dunia pendidikan. namun ini belumlah solusi jitu yang bisa merubah akhlak anak khususnya dengan instan. Diperlukan kerjasama antar sekolah, masyarakat dan khususnya orang tua. Orang tua merupakan elemen pokok dalam melaksanakan pendidikan akhlak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah library research dengan teknik analisisnya adalah konten analisis. Hasil yang di dapatkan yaitu metode pendidikan akhlak di dalam kitab terjemahan Al-Akhlak Li Al Banin Jilid I dan II  karya Syaikh Umar Baraja dilaksanakan dalam tiga bentuk yaitu Pertama, metode komunikasi langsung. Kedua, metode bimbingan dengan  nasihat. Ketiga, metode bimbingan dengan latihan atau pembiasaan. Dasar pemikiran pendidikan akhlak adalah Al-Qur’an dan Hadist. Al-Qur’an dan Hadist selalu dijadikan sebagai perdoman ajaran agama Islam. Konsep pendidikan akhlak anak dalam kitab terjemahan Al-Akhlak Li Al Banin Jilid 1-2 karya Syaikh Umar Baraja adalah mempunyai akhlak yang baik sejak kecil, membiasakan diri dengan akhlak yang baik, contoh akhlak yang tidak baik, kewajiban mengagungkan Allah swt, kewajiban mengagungkan nabi muhammad saw, sopan santun kepada orang, anak yang tidak punya sopan santun, memiliki sifat amanah (dapat dipercaya), melaksanakan sikap ta’at. Abstract

This study aims to determine why parents send their children to religion-based elementary schools, which are an alternative preference for parents to make their children become good Muslims. The focus of this research is to find out the reasons why parents choose schools. Researchers researched at the Pontianak Mujahidin Elementary School, West Kalimantan. Collecting data by studying documents and libraries and using a questionnaire addressed to parents of students. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively descriptive. The results showed that parents tend to choose Islamic-based elementary schools to send their children to become good Muslims. This choice is more significant than the curriculum used by schools, learning strategies and models, quality of learning, school facilities and infrastructure, extracurricular activities, and school excellence programs' characteristics. Meanwhile, transportation and school location are not rational for parents to send their children to school. The social life of modern society that is global today is vulnerable to negative influences that are not in accordance with religious rules. This statement is the basis of concern for many parents because it can threaten the morals of their children.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan orang tua menyekolahkan anaknya di Sekolah Dasar berbasis agama yang merupakan alternatif pilihan bagi orang tua untuk menjadikan anaknya sebagai Muslim yang baik. Fokus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui alasan orang tua memilih sekolah. Peneliti melakukan penelitian di Sekolah Dasar Mujahidin Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat. Pengambilan Data dengan studi dokumen dan perpustakaan serta menggunakan angket yang ditujukan kepada orang tua murid. Analisis Data dilakukan secara kuantitatif deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua murid cenderung memilih Sekolah Dasar berbasis agama Islam untuk menyekolahkan anak-anak mereka agar menjadi Muslim yang baik. Pilihan ini lebih signifikan dibandingkan dengan kurikulum yang digunakan sekolah, strategi dan model pembelajaran, mutu pembelajaran, fasilitas sarana dan prasarana sekolah, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan ciri khas program keunggulan sekolah, Sementara itu, transportasi dan lokasi sekolah bukan menjadi pilihan rasional orang tua untuk menyekolahkan anak mereka. Kehidupan sosial masyarakat modern yang sudah global dewasa ini rentan dari pengaruh negatif yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah agama. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar kekhawatiran banyak orang tua karena dapat mengancam akhlak anak-anak mereka. Kata Kunci : Sekolah Dasar, Berbasis Agama, Muslim

Abstract

first scientist in Indonesia to receive an academic degree in Islamic Education from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. The aims of this study are to know: (1) Islamic education in Indonesia, (2) the basic concepts of Islamic education thought by Prof. H. M. Arifin, M. Ed. (3) The relevance of Islamic education thinking Prof. H. M. Arifin, M. Ed in the modern era. This research uses qualitative research methods, the type of writing used is library research where the data comes from books, books and other documents. Qualitative data is presented in descriptive form. The qualitative data in this study is a general description of the nature of multicultural education and its characteristics. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Modern education has several characteristics when compared to traditional education. This is because modern education is clearly more directed to follow the changing times. Characteristics of modern Islamic education, not only ukhrawi, but also talk about the worldly, (2) Islamic education aims to foster a strong pattern of human personality through mental training, brain intelligence, reasoning, feelings and senses. (3) The relevance of the thoughts conveyed by H. M. Arifin with contemporary Islamic Islamic education is very relevant, namely not only fixating on one aspect but all domains including the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains as a manifestation of knowledge to enrich and develop skills.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pemikiran dari Prof. H. M. Arifin yang merupakan tokoh ilmuan pertama di Indonesia yang mendapatkan gelar akademisi dalam bidang Ilmu Pendidikan Islam dari UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. Tujuan dari penulisan article ini adalah:(1) Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, (2) Konsep dasar pemikiran pendidikan Islam Prof. H. M. Arifin, M. Ed. (3) Relevansi pemikiran pendidikan Islam Prof. H. M. Arifin, M. Ed di era modern. Penelittian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, jenis tulisan yang digunakan adalah kepustakaan (library research) dimana  data berasal dari buku, kitab dan dokumen lainnya. Data kualitatif disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif yang dimaksud data kualitatif pada penelitian ini yaitu gambaran umum mengenai hakikat pendidikan multikultural dan karakteristiknya. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Pendidikan modern, memiliki beberapa karakteristlk tersendiri bila dibandingkan dengan pendidikan tradisional. Hal ini dikarenakan pendidikan modern, jelas lebih mengarah mengikuti perubahan zaman. Ciri khas pendidikan Islam modern, bukan hanya bersifat ukhrowi saja, tetapi juga berbicara tentang duniawi, (2) Pendidikan Islam bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan pola kepribadian manusia yang kuat melalui pelatihan kejiwaan, kecerdasan otak, penalaran, perasaan dan indra. (3) Relevansi pemikiran yang disampaikan oleh H. M. Arifin dengan pendidikan Islam Islam kontemporer sangat relevan yaitu tidak hanya terpaku pada satu aspek saja tetapi semua ranah diantaranya ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik sebagai manifestasi ilmu guna memperkaya dan keterampilan. Abstract

This article discusses the philosophy of the Muna tribe of Southeast Sulawesi. This philosophy is called Panca Po. In this article, the author collects verses from the Qur'an that are related to the Panca Po philosophy. At the beginning of this paper, the author explains the existence of the Muna Kingdom, then the Panca Po philosophy in the Muna community. Then the author examines the Panca Po philosophy from the perspective of the Qur'an with the maudhu'i method. The maudhu'i method is to collect verses related to the Panca Po philosophy. The study results show that the Panca Po philosophy of the Muna Kingdom teaches the values of unity. These values are closely related to the importance of Islamic teachings. Implementing the Panca Po philosophy can strengthen the Indonesian people to be peaceful, harmonious, and love the country.   Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas tentang falsafah suku Muna Sulawesi Tenggara. Falsafah tersebut disebut dengan Panca Po. Dalam artikel ini, penulis mengumpulkan ayat Al-Qur’an yang memiliki kaitan dengan falsafah Panca Po. Di awal tulisan ini, penulis menjelaskan eksistensi kerajaan Muna kemudian Falsafah Panca Po dalam masyarakat Muna dan selanjutnya penulis mengkaji falsafah Panca Po dalam prespektif Al-Qur’an dengan metode maudhu’i. Metode maudhu’i yaitu mengumpulkan ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan Falsafah Panca Po. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa falsafah Panca Po pada Kerajaan Muna mengajarkan nilai-nilai kesatuan. Nilai-nilai ini sangat erat kaitannya dengan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam. Implementasi falsafah Panca Po dapat menguatkan masyarakat Indonesia menjadi damai, tentram, dan cinta pada negeri. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to anticipate the decrease of character internalization for the younger generation from an early age. The younger generation is the dream of a nation that has absolute ownership. To realize the internalization of noble character values, educators, especially parents, are needed to deal with global problems, namely the Corona Virus Disease Outbreak, well known as the Covid 19. The Covid 19 outbreak in Indonesia has spread to various regions. Various efforts by the government prevented the epicenter of the spread of the virus by using vaccine injections and different terms namely PSPB, New Normal, and the last PPKM level 4 to break the chain of the distance of Covid-19. These programs are limiting activities and movement of people/goods. These programs aim for anticipating escalation developments, strengthening efforts to handle health, and managing socio-economic impacts from the spread of Covid-19. All is hoped that programs should refer to Law No. 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine. As a result of this government policy, many sectors have become the main centers of education. The research on the internalization of this character was carried out using a literature review method through a descriptive approach. The results show that when children behave according to the norm, they will act without being ordered, no expression of confusion, and immediately behave according to the norms and morals spontaneously in every action according to the situation and conditions. Children can put themselves in communicating with gentle and polite words because everything is integrated to show a great personality.   Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengantisipasi tergerusnya internalisasi karakter untuk para generasi muda sejak usia dini. Generasi muda menjadi impian sebuah bangsa yang memiliki kedaulatan mutlak. Agar dapat terwujud internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter luhur, diperlukan keseriusan dari para pendidik terutama orangtua dalam menghadapi permasalahan global yakni Wabah Corona Virus Disease atau lebih dikenal dengan Covid 19. Wabah Covid 19 di Indonesia telah meluas ke berbagai wilayah. Episentrum penyebaran virus ditangkal dengan berbagai upaya oleh pemerintah dengan menggunakan penyuntikan vaksin dan bermacam istilah PSPB, New Normal dan terakhir PPKM level 4 untuk memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19. Program-program ini membatasi kegiatan dan pergerakan orang/barang. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi perkembangan ekskalasi, memperkuat upaya penanganan kesehatan dan menangani dampak sosial ekonomi dari penyebaran Covid-19. Yang jelas terdeteksi sebaiknya kembali mengacu kepada UU No 6 tahun 2018 tentang Kekarantinaan Kesehatan. Akibat dari kebijakan pemerintah tersebut, banyak sektor terdampak terutama dalam bidang pendidikan. Penelitian tentang internalisasi karakter ini dilakukan dengan metode kajian kepustakaan melalui pendekatan diskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak ketika berperilaku sesuai norma akan berlaku tanpa diperintah, tidak ada ekspresi kebingungan, dan langsung melakukan perilaku sesuai norma dan moral secara spontan dalam setiap melakukan kebaikan sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi. Anak dapat menempatkan diri dalam berkomunikasi dengan untaian kata-kata lembut dan sopan semua karena sudah menyatu sehingga dapat menunjukkan kepribadian hebat.
