Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of the badminton Talent Class program as developing students' interests and talents at the Kak Seto Surabaya Homeschooling , which includes planning, implementation and evaluation. This research uses a phenomenological approach with qualitative research methods. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model through several activity procedures, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show; Developing interests and talents through the Badminton Talent Class starts with choosing a regular class or distance learning, then continues with the counselor to detect academic, family and social background as well as interests and talents. the problems faced by the child or the background of life problems. At the implementation stage, tutors also design learning tools and learning media so that they can achieve their goals. Meanwhile, at the evaluation stage, the results of the learning evaluation are given in graphic form which functions to measure the extent to which students have achieved academic and non-academic abilities. The output of this Badminton Talent Class is that children can develop their own interests in the future. The suggestion from this research is that in accordance with the management of Homeschooling which is full of the content of individual existence, the implementation of Homeschooling must have adequate standardization in identifying students' talents, interests and potential.

Abstract

Fenomena dalam kehidupan karakter merupakan sangat penting dalam kondisi anak dimana karakter merupakan watak yang terdapat dalam diri manusia. Namun pada fakta nya saat ini terdapat orang tua yang kurang dalam mengasuh anak-anaknya karena berbagai permasalahan yakni karena orang tua yang sibuk bekerja dengan itu anak memiliki karakter yang berbeda dengan anak-anak yang lebih diperhatikan oleh orang tuanya. Oleh karena itu orang tua wajib membentuk karakter anak dengan pengasuhan yang diterapkan oleh orang tua dengan itu anak lebih memiliki karakter yang baik dan sama pada anak pada umumnya.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Untuk menggali data dilakukan dengan metode yang berisi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kemudian dilakukan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Penelitian ini juga didukung dengan keabsahan data yakni kredibilitas, dependibilitas, konfirmabilitas dan transferabilitas. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pola asuh ibu yang bekerja dalam pembentukan karakter anak di PAUD Salam Tholabul Ilmi. Dalam pola asuh yang dilakukan oleh ibu menerapkan 3 indikator dalam metode penelitian yakni 1). Mengasuh dengan memberikan pujian, 2). Mengasuh dengan memberikan hukuman, 3). Mengasuh dengan memberikan hukuman. Kemudian dalam pengasuhan di terapkan Pendidikan karakter anak yakni 1). Keagamaan 2). Kemandirian 3). Kedisplinan.

Abstract

PAUD (KB/RA) Adinda Dua Tebel Gedangan is one of the PAUD institutions that has a parenting program. This research explores the implementation of the parenting program at PAUD (KB/RA) Adinda Dua Tebel Gedangan, highlighting aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation. Through qualitative methods with a participatory observation approach, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, the research results show that the parenting program in PAUD has a positive impact, increasing parents' participation and understanding of effective parenting patterns. Activities such as seminars, workshops and community events form close collaboration between institutions and families, creating a holistic educational environment. Evaluation of the program showed significant improvements in parent participation and understanding, although highlighting challenges such as logistical constraints and lack of involvement by some parents. This research makes an important contribution by detailing the factors that influence the successful implementation of parenting programs and providing recommendations for further improvement and development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: The influence of motivation and interest in learning on the learning outcomes of all subjects of students in the package C equal education program at SKBN Surabaya. SKB Negeri Surabaya is a package C equality education program organized by the Surabaya city government, with a workforce of 10 people and 46 students. The process of implementing learning at SKB Negeri Surabaya uses modules provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture, where learning at SKB Negeri Surabaya focuses on the learning process for students, so that it can produce satisfactory learning outcomes. The learning outcomes obtained by students will of course also be different from each other because there are many influencing factors. This research is a quantitative approach research. The subjects of this research are all students of Class X SKB Negeri Surabaya for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 30 students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distributed to research respondents with a study population of 30 students and documentation. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis to answer the research questions.

Abstract

Barbershop training develop people to increase their knowledge and skills in cutting hair and develop the potential of the community to prepare for the future and be able to grow the entrepreneurial independence of training participants. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the barbershop training process at SKB Sidoarjo, analyze the supporting factors for barbershop training at SKB Sidoarjo, analyze the inhibiting factors for barbershop training at SKB Sidoarjo, describe and analyze the results of barbershop training on the entrepreneurial independence of training participants at SKB Sidoarjo. This study used qualitative research methods. The research results showed that the barbershop training was carried out well. The supporting factor for the implementation of barbershop training at SKB Sidoarjo is the infrastructure provided by SKB. Factors inhibiting barbershop training include obstacles in terms of the lack of time required to carry out the training. In its implementation, training participants who take part in barbershop training at SKB Sidoarjo gain experience, knowledge and skills in the field of barbershop/haircutting.

Abstract

Asosiasi Pendidikan Nasional mengidentifikasi "4C" sebagai keterampilan abad ke-21, termasuk pemikiran kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Keterampilan kolaborasi menjadi penting dalam pendidikan abad ke-21, terutama dalam konteks Homeschooling Pena Surabaya di kelas robotic dengan pembelajaran project-based learning (PjBL). Faktor-faktor seperti kesulitan tugas dan kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya saling menghargai dalam kerja kelompok mempengaruhi keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara model project-based learning (PjBL) dengan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik di Homeschooling Pena Surabaya. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif korelasional, melibatkan 31 peserta didik, hasilnya menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara PjBL dan keterampilan kolaborasi (r = 0,568, sig = 0,001). Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa project-based learning (PjBL) yang lebih tinggi berkaitan dengan keterampilan kolaborasi yang lebih baik, menggarisbawahi pentingnya model pembelajaran inovatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Budi Utama Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) is one of the non-formal education centers under the Department of Education, Youth, and Sport of Surabaya which runs several programs including equality education such as package A equivalent to elementary school/ MI, package B equivalent to junior high school/ MTS, package C equivalent to high school/ MA. The purpose of this study was to determine the positive relationship between tutor competence and learning interest of package B students in PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya. This study used quantitative methods with data collection used in this study using questionnaires. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the competence of tutors and the learning interest of package B students in PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya. The results of the data calculation between the tutor's competence in learning Indonesian subjects amounted to 0.723 > 0.05 and in mathematics subjects obtained by 0.320 > 0.05 so from this result it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is rejected and the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between assertive communication style and the learning motivation of package C students at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya, to find out the relationship between aggressive communication style and the learning motivation of package C students at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya, and to find out the relationship between assertive and aggressive communication styles with Learning motivation for package C students at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya. This research method is quantitative correlational with a total of 32 students as respondents. The research results show that assertive communication style has a positive relationship with learning motivation with a significance value of 0.010. Aggressive communication style has a positive relationship with learning motivation with a significance value of 0.031. So the assertive communication style has a stronger relationship with learning motivation than the aggressive communication style based on the correlation coefficient value, the assertive communication style with learning motivation is 0.448 in the quite strong category, while the aggressive communication style with learning motivation is 0.031 in the low category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of parents which includes the role of educator, facilitator, and motivator in developing speaking skills in speech delay children aged 4-5 years. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The resulte obtained from this research indicate that parents are still not optimal in carrying out their role as educators, facilitators and motivators to support the developments of speaking abilities in speech delay children aged 4-5 years because every parent has and experiences inhibiting factors in carrying out their role, such as parents busy to work, unsupportive environment, use of two languages, and other inhibiting factors. The supportting factors provided by parents to be able to develop speaking skills in speech delaye children include providing educational games, conducting speech therapy, consulting with psychologosts, self-therapy, school, and other supporting therapies, such as occupational therapy and behavioral theraphy.

Abstract

The friday class program applies project-based learning which is considered effective in increasing creativity and creating a fun learning environment. This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the project-based learning model in increasing the creativity of students equivalent education package A in the Friday class program at PKBM Kak Seto Surabaya. The method used is descriptive qualitative, through data collection techniques of participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. This research uses data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of the project-based learning model using a structured project starts from determining the project, planning the steps, preparing the implementation schedule, completing the project, preparing reports and presenting the results, finally evaluating the process and results. Thus, we can see an increase in the creativity of students pursuing package A from their work and participation which is achieved through efforts to provide various projects, provide freedom to explore, and create a conducive learning environment through the use of standardized facilities and infrastructure.
