Abstract

This research aims to 1) describe and analyze students' active learning through interactive learning methods at Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya, 2) describe and analyze supporting factors in interactive learning methods at Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya and 3) describe and analyze inhibiting factors in learning methods interactive at Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya. The approach used in the research is descriptive qualitative. By using data collection techniques through the process of interviews, observation and documentation. In this research, researchers used data analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, then finally drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research are that by applying interactive learning methods it is able to foster an active learning attitude in Package A students, the learning process becomes more active and conducive because all students are actively involved in all learning activities so that it can increase students' interest in learning, when the students' learning process becomes more comfortable and not easy to make students bored. The supporting factors for this learning method are adequate facilities and infrastructure, active students, and creative tutors. The inhibiting factors in implementing this interactive learning method are network problems and power outages.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of the Zoom Meeting Online learning media on the learning motivation and learning outcomes of package B students in social studies subjects at PKBM Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya. In the analysis using the SEM SmartPLS 4 For Windows application with 22 samples, a path coefficient value of 0.581 was found for learning motivation and 0.584 for learning outcomes. Data management results show T-Statistics values ??of 3.731 and 4.208 respectively, exceeding the T-Table value with a significance of 0.000. These findings confirm that the use of Zoom Meeting Online has a significant effect on students' learning motivation and learning outcomes. This research provides an important contribution in the context of developing online learning methods, especially in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in the homeschooling environment. Thus, Zoom Meeting Online is an effective choice in improving the quality of learning in the current digital era, providing the necessary support for alternative educational institutions such as PKBM Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the 7P marketing mix strategy, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the quantity of new students at PAUD Nurus Shibyan. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques of in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results obtained, namely the increase in the quantity of new students at SPS Muslimat Nurus Shibyan, cannot yet be measured because it only opened in 2023. KB Nurus Shibyan in 2022/2023 increased by 50%, but in 2023/2024 it decreased by 18%. However, when compared with 2021/2022, it has increased by 23%. Muslimat Nurus Kindergarten decreased 22% in 2022/2023, but in 2023/2024 increased 41% from the previous year. When compared with 2021/2022, there was an increase of 9.7%. In the implementation process, there are supporting and inhibiting factors for the 7P marketing mix strategy in increasing the quantity of new students.

Abstract

The KLH NGO is an organization consisting of community groups who are aware of environmental issues who are tasked with designing strategies for policies that are not environmentally friendly, socializing and coaching, environmental management, as well as empowering the community through environmental programs and providing policy input to the government. The aim of the research is to determine the role of KLH NGOs and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for the role of KLH NGOs in instilling environmentally friendly behavior in the communities along the Surabaya river. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects were six members of the KLH NGO and four members of the community. Data collection techniques were participant observation, in-depth interviews, and field notes and documentation. Research data was analyzed using data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions then tested for truth value using credibility, transferability, debendability, observability, confirmability. The research results show that the KLH NGO plays a significant role in encouraging environmentally friendly behavior in Surabaya riverbank communities, by managing activities, reporting community issues, and influencing the development of aspects such as the availability of facilities, sustainable lifestyles, welfare partnerships, and sustainable living-based programs.

Abstract

This research purpose of to describe and analyze the implementation of the storytelling learning method in the distance learning program for package A students at the Kak Seto Homeschooling community learning center in Surabaya; Describe and analyze the experiences of students package A in realizing the storytelling learning method at the Kak Seto Surabaya Homeschooling community learning center; Describe and analyze learning outcomes by applying the storytelling learning method in the distance learning program at the Kak Seto Homeschooling community learning center in Surabaya. This type of research approach uses descriptive with qualitative methods. This research uses data collection techniques through observation data, interviews and documentation. The data validity tests used are credibility tests, transferability tests, dependability tests, confirmability tests. This research data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research found that by applying the storytelling learning method, students were more enthusiastic about learning and according to the tutor, by applying the storytelling learning method they felt that the learning process was running effectively. During the process of realizing this storytelling learning method, tutors involve online distance learning students in the learning process, so that students have practical experience and prefer the learning process and find it easy to understand the material because they feel connected to relevant stories according to the students' experiences. That way, students have maximum learning outcomes and students have a significant increase in understanding of the material that has been delivered by the tutor.

Abstract

Outreach students are school dropouts who receive free access to equivalent education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of learning Package C equivalence in efforts to increase learning participation for outreach students. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Package C equivalence learning for outreach students has been carried out according to the schedule and learning regulations. The implementation of learning is supported by several aspects, such as educators appropriate to the subjects taught, the use of appropriate curriculum, learning strategies through andragogy approaches, and the use of three learning evaluations. However, aspects such as the recognition of the characteristics of outreach students by tutors and the lack of supportive learning media are less supportive. Furthermore, regarding the participation of outreach students, attendance cannot be predicted whether attending face-to-face or online learning, lack of response, and failure to complete assignments.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role and impact of evaluating human resource management systems in efforts to improve the quality of educational services. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Respondents in this research were managers, tutors and students. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis consists of four stages: collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is confirmed through credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability. Source triangulation and member checks are used to ensure credibility. The results of the research show that PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya has succeeded in improving the quality of educational services by becoming an independent, well-managed and significant non-formal institution, supported by the use of the 2013 curriculum, but faced by student absences as the main obstacle.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and identify the relationship between studio podcast learning activities and the development of speaking skills among learners in the equivalency program at PKBM Think Indonesia School. The study employs a sequential explanatory mixed-method approach, collecting both quantitative and qualitative data in two stages, with a primary emphasis on quantitative methods. Data collection techniques include questionnaires/surveys, observations, interviews, and documentation with learners in the equivalency program at PKBM Think Indonesia School. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant relationship between studio podcast learning and the development of speaking skills among learners in the equivalency program at PKBM Think Indonesia School, as evidenced by the calculated correlation coefficient (r) being greater than the tabulated correlation coefficient (0.617 > 0.361) with a significance value (sig) of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, qualitative analysis through interviews with active participants in studio podcast learning demonstrates significant improvements and changes in speaking skills. Learners show progress in facial expression, pronunciation, intonation, and speaking ability through interaction with their learning teams and mentors, despite facing difficulties and showing perseverance in overcoming them through repeated practice.

Abstract

Students' learning motivation to encourage enthusiasm in achieving learning goals can be influenced by various factors, one of which is the tutor's interpersonal communication with students. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between tutor interpersonal communication and students' learning motivation in the Package C at the Budi Utama Teaching and Learning Activity Center, Surabaya. This research uses quantitative correlational methods with analytical techniques Product Moment. The sample for this research was 32 students from the Package C at the Budi Utama Teaching and Learning Activity Center, Surabaya. Through the correlation test carried out, we obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.789 and a significance value of 0.000, which means that tutor interpersonal communication and student learning motivation have a positive relationship and are classified in the strong category, meaning that the learning motivation of students in the package C at the Budi Utama Teaching and Learning Activity Center in Surabaya on Indonesian language subjects can be determined by the tutor's communication with students. If the tutor's interpersonal communication is high, the student's learning motivation will also be high.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe marketing management and parents' interest in Baitul Muttaqien Playgroup. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of interviews, participatory observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this study is that reality marketing management has four components with a people component that refers to the human resources of the institution which is one of the two components of attracting parents of students. Programs are related to the products provided in the form of educational services as a component that attracts the interest of parents of students. The interest of parents of students is dominated by referential interest and preferential interest. Referential interest is shown through the tendency to refer Baitul Muttaqien Playgroup to people around. The preferential interest is the tendency of parents of learners in choosing an educational institution by referring to the criteria of each parent.
