Abstract

More modern market make it easy for consumers for fulfil his life needs. Swalayan is a form of modern market that are much in demand by consumers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price and place on purchasing decisions. Where independent variables are price and place, influence purchasing decisions as the dependent variable. The population used in this study is the consumer of Swalayan Jodoh Center Batam, with a sample of 100 respondents used as consumers of Swalayan Jodoh Center Batam. The sampling method uses purposive sampling methods and data collection techniques using questionnaires. This type of research is quantitative research. Quantitative analysis includes validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis, determination coefficient (R2), f test and t test. The data from this study were processed using SPSS version 20.0. The results of this study are price has a negative and not significant influence on purchasing decisions, place has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. While simultaneous results, price and place have a significant influence on Swalayan Jodoh Center Batam purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The song "Esok kan Bahagia" was created by the band's vocalist D'Masiv Rian Ekky Pradipta and popularized by D'Masiv along with artists who joined Musica Studio's musical management. This song was originally created Rian based on his life experience, but adjusted to the social reality that occurred in Indonesia in 2014 that is the number of natural disasters that take casualties. Semiotics Analysis of the Song Lyrics "Esok kan Bahagia" popularized by Group D'Masiv Band is using data analysis techniques semiotics Ferdinand de Saussure. In Saussure's theory explains that sign (sign) is divided into two parts, namely signifier (signifier) and signified (signified). Sign here that many people know that the full lyrics of the song is a piece of writing to be sung. While the marker is a lyric that contains meaning. Signs are the result of lyrics analysis into a meaning. This study aims to see how the meaning process of song lyrics of the signifier (signifier) to be a sign (signified). And what is the meaning of the motivational message that the song lyricist wants to convey to the listener. Then, the meaning of motivation is adapted to Victor Vroom's motivational theory with the expectation perspective. The approach taken in this research is qualitative approach, by analyzing the song lyrics using the theory used, then drawn the conclusion using the result of analysis.

Abstract

PT bright PLN Batam is the largest electricity provider in Batam, which is actively conducting socialization regarding the correct use of electricity and a ban on electricity abuse. This socialization, although it has been carried out, still records high misuse rates, especially in the Nagoya service area. This study aims to examine the determinant factors of communication in the socialization of the knowledge of its customers. This research was conducted with descriptive quantitative method, where cluster sampling technique is used with a sample of 150 people. The level of research confidence is 95% or the error tolerance level is 5%, so that from 150 people obtained 105 samples. Data was collected by questionnaire instrument. The data that has been obtained is tested with the Pearson product moment correlation technique. From the results of this study it is known that all messages and media have a positive and significant relationship to customer knowledge in the socialization activities of prevention of electricity misuse conducted by PT bright PLN Batam in the Nagoya service area. It is recommended for PT bright PLN Batam to make the socialization message as easy to remember and related to the customer's daily life, as well as using the media according to customer preferences.

Abstract

Purpose this study to describe the accessibility of sea transportation services for the people Hinterland in Batam City. This study uses descriptive research method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted to Head UPT Transportation Service, Private Boat Owner in the Bulang sub-district. This study was analyzed using the Dimension quality of public services, where accessibility is connecting how people obtain service marine transportation by seeing of service quality dimensions, are: 1) Reliability, to provide precisely and correctly, type of service has been promised community. 2) Responsiveness, awareness or desire to help and provide fast service to the community or willingness to help customers and carry out services sincerely. 3) Assurance, knowledge or insight, politeness, government, and respect for the community, as well level of attention ethics and morals in providing services. 4) Empathy, the willingness of government to approach providing protection, and trying find out the wants and needs of the community, characterized by the willingness to know wants and needs of consumers. 5) Tangiable, physical appearance, meaning the services provided are realized in of physical appearance such as buildings, equipment, and other facilities.

Abstract

At present, competition in the field of beauty is quite strict, along with technological and cultural developments, so that it can influence the increase in community needs, usage patterns and how to meet the needs in the field of beauty. The purpose of this study is to find out some of the effects of prices on customer satisfaction and the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and at the same time determine the influence of price and service quality on customer satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The analysis technique in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The research data is processed with SPSS version 21 software program. This test uses validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t-test and f-test. In this study, the population consisted of customers who used oriflame products with a total sample of 100 respondents. The conclusion is that the price variable is partially, but not significant, influences customer satisfaction and that service quality variables have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, while at the same time the variable price and service quality have a significant influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

In general, every process in an implementation that exists in Indonesia Based on existing regulations that are valid in a country is no exception in Indonesia, 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia is main legal source with the Pancasila. Based on the 1945 Constitution, the government makes laws and regulations concerning the legal basis for correctional and parole. Every crime is a social deviation that often occurs in community life. Indonesia is a country that has a very high level of territory, before any particular region. Defenders of crime were summoned by inmates, who had been convicted by judges and sentenced according to their considerations and also related to the institution called the Public Institution, to obtain support and education and direction for the purposes of suppression and assignment of good ahklak after they left or free. One of the efforts made by the government or the authorities for the perpetrators of crime is by giving prisoners relief or the so-called parole, where the implementation must be carried out by prisoners who have gone through two-thirds of their detention period and the period of relationship building and behavior in the correctional facility.

Abstract

Today many companies are very aware of the importance of consumer loyalty to a product or service produced by the company. Customer loyalty will occur when satisfaction arises for a product or service. Service quality and satisfaction are very important for customer loyalty. Theepurposeeofethisestudyeisetoedetermine whether serviceequalityeand satisfaction affect theeloyalty of MCN Cable TV customers in Batam City. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis, T test to determine the effect partially, F test to determine the effect simultaneously and test the coefficient of determination R2 to find out how strong the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable and by using data collection techniques that are purposive sampling with a total 144 respondents. By using the SPSS version 20. software program The results of this study are: service quality significantly affects customereloyalty. Satisfactionehaseaesignificanteeffecteonecustomer loyalty. Serviceequalityeand satisfactionesimultaneously haveea significanteeffecteon employeeeperformance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of quality, price, and promotion on consumer satisfaction HPAI HNI products. The object of this research was conducted at the Batam Business Center 2. Data collection techniques, using measuring instruments in the form of questionnaires as many as 101 respondents were distributed to members or consumers who use HPAI HNI products. The analysis technique used is the validity test, reliability test, and hypothesis significance test using SPSS version 21. Based on the hypothesis test it can be seen that the variables of quality, price and promotion in the regression model are 83.1% while the remaining 16.9% variables are satisfaction consumer (Y). From the discussion of the results of the questionnaire it can be concluded that HNI products are needed by consumers, the packaging form of HPAI HNI products is very safe and easy to carry everywhere, there is an expiration date, prices are in line with the benefits of HPAI HNI products so consumers feel satisfied, with the promotion of interested consumers to buy, and products can meet the Muslim market. Research results show that quality, price and promotion of customer satisfaction have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction of HPAI HNI products at Batam Business Center 2.

Media press are vulnerable to defamation cases, as happened in decision No.36/Pid.B/2015/PN.Lrt. From this decision a research will be conducted on how the criminal responsibility of the online press media bridges the occurrence of criminal acts of defamation and to find out how the judge judges the basis for giving a verdict. Normative Legal Research Methods used. The results of the research that the press must be responsible for the news published because in the news, there are often cases of defamation which result in criminal acts and results and in the judgment of judges in determining actions taken by public prosecutors based on article 310 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code Jo Article 84 Paragraph (2) Law No.8 of 1981, Article 310 Paragraph (2) of Criminal Code Article 84 Paragraph (2) of Law No.8 of 1981, Article 311 Paragraph (1) of Criminal Code Article Jo Paragraph (2) of Law No. 8 of 1981. From research on the pattern of relations that must be held as a handle between the press, the public, and the government is a free and responsible press, and in making decisions on all aspects in it, accuracy, law, reasoning, mastery of material and formal problems.
