Abstract

Matahari Department Store is a retail company in Indonesia which is the owner of a department store chain. The Sun became one of the most famous shopping malls in Indonesia provides convenience for the public to shop all needs. this research aims to know the influence of product quality and customer satisfaction towards the promotion of PT Matahari Department Store Keprimall. The samples on this research as much as 100 respondents using the technique of sampling accidental sampling. As for the variables used the quality of the products (X 1), promotion (X 2) as free and customer satisfaction variable (Y) as a variable. Technique of data analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression method. The results of this study showed that the quality of the products, the promotion of a positive effect towards customer satisfaction in PT Matahari Department Store.

Abstract

Human resources are central figures in organizations and companies so that management activites run well, companies must have and high skilled employees and efforts to manage the company as optimally as possible so that employee performance increases. In the current era of globalization which is full of challenges and intense competition among companies to achieve their goals. One of the company's goals is to get profits or profits and survive in the long term to manage the company with all the organizational resources it has. One organizational resource that has an important role in achieving its objectives is human resources. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of Leadership Style and Work Discipline on Employee Performance of PT Sri Indah Aluminum Exxrusions. The method used in this study is quantitative. The results showed that Leadership Style had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a t value of 10,866, while the value of t table was 1,98260 so t> t table with a significance value = 0,000> 0.05. Work Discipline variables have a negative and significant effect on Employee performance, with a t value of - 1.044, while the t table value is 1.98260, so t count <t table and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously leadership style and work discipline significantly influence employee performance as evidenced by the f value of 164.153 while f table 3.08 so that f count> f table.

Abstract

The current industrial development in Indonesia is very tight. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style, work motivation and organizational culture on the work productivity of PT Tunas Batam Karya employees both partially and simultaneously. The sample used was 104 employees of PT Tunas Batam Karya. This type of research is quantitative research. Quantitative analysis includes validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis test, determination coefficient test (R2), t-test and f-test. Data from this study were processed with SPSS version 21. The results of this study have a partial leadership style that has a positive and significant influence on labor productivity, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on labor productivity and the organizational culture has a positive and significant effect work on labor productivity. While simultaneous results, leadership style, work motivation and organizational culture have a significant and significant impact on the productivity of the workforce of PT Tunas Batam Karya employees. What has been done What has not been done in software development will be discussed at the end of this thesis.

Abstract

When talking about world economy, it will not be separated from trading activities. Trading activities are increasingly not only in country, but have expanded between countries. Exports and imports support the implementation of trade between countries. The freight forwarding business growing rapidly in Indonesia. Companies must able to determine the right marketing strategy, in order to survive and win the competition. To be able to continue survive, the company must be able to know what is needed or expected by its customers. Many factors are consider by consumers before using a service. This research was conducted with the aim to analyze service quality and responsiveness to customer satisfaction in using the services of PT Infiniti Marine. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 175 respondents who were the samples in this study. Respondents in this study were the customers of PT Infiniti Marine. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 21 software. The results of the research test showed that service quality and responsiveness had a simultaneous effect on customer satisfaction in using the services of PT Infiniti Marine. This indicates that the better the quality of service and responsiveness, customer satisfaction will increase.

Abstract

Developments in the service sector are rapidly increasing, one of which. health services such as hospitals, health centers, clinics, medical centers and others. Hospital is one of the institutions engaged in health services with the responsibility of providing treatment and providing care. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service quality, rates and facilities on patient satisfaction. Where the independent variable is service quality, rates and facilities, affects patient satisfaction as the dependent variable. The population used in this study were patients at Embung Fatimah Hospital, with a sample of 100 respondents. The sample in this study used simple random sampling and data collection using questionnaires. Quantitative analysis includes validity, reliability, classic assumption test, multiple linear analysis, coefficient of determination (R2), f test and t test. Data from this study were processed using SPSS version 20. The results of this study were that service quality partially had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, rates had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction and facilities had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. While simultaneous results, service quality, tariffs and facilities have a significant influence on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is an analysis of Hiroshima City Condition Before and After Bombed by United States as Depicted in John Hersey’s “Hiroshima”: Historical Approach. It is research has two specific objectives of this research, first is to find out the problems faced by the people of Hiroshima before and after the bombing. The second are to find out the facts of the historical facts after bombed. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data would be gathered from primary source, which is the novel Hiroshima, and secondary sources from various sources, such as history books. The analysis of this study applies the historical approach of Hippolyte Adolph Taine (1872) which explains the race, milieu, and moment. The problem of the Hiroshima community before and after the bombing is proven where many of citizens in Hiroshima lived improperly because the condition of economic matters was paralytic. And the condition be apprehensive is many of citizen in Hiroshima died and were permanently disabled. Then historical facts are also found, namely the surrender of Japan on August 15, 1945 which is announced by the emperor Tenno and the construction of a national monument named the Institute of International Amity. With all these facts, the researchers then concluded that Hiroshima, written by John Hersey indeed contained facts about the fear and anxiety of the Hiroshima community before and after the bombings carried out by United States soldiers.

Abstract

Along with the evolution of the internet, electronic word of mouth and brand image has become an important phenomenon to increase purchase intention. The purpose of the study is to determine and analyzing the influence of electronic word of mouth and brand image on purchase intention of PT Alpha Real Estate in Batam City. The data used is primary is by distributing questionnaires. The sample used were 152 respondents distributed to customers. Using purposive sampling method, multiple linear regression analysis, t test to determine the effect partially, F test to analyze the effect simultaneously and test coefficient of determination R to find out how strong the level of influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable and by using data collection techniques that are saturated samples or census techniques. In addition, the researcher also tested the validity and reliability of the instrument with the help of SPSS version 21 program. The results show that electronic word of mouth has a positive effect partially on purchase intention. Brand image has a positive effect partially on purchase intention. Electronic word of mouth and brand image have positive significant effect simultaneously on purchase intention. 2

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the communication process of behavior change that occurred in Batam kpopers adolescents and the role of the media in the communication process related to imitation behavior changes in Batam kpopers adolescents. This study uses descriptive qualitative method using Miles & Huberman data analysis, in determining informants, researchers used purposive sampling technique and the informant consisted of members of the KPOP-like community in Batam. Primary data and secondary data that researchers use are in-depth interviews, documentation, nonparticipant observations and articles from the internet. The results showed that teenagers affected by the phenomenon of imitation of the Korean Wave gave some behavioral changes to teenagers who like kpop. The behavioral changes that occur are imitating their idols, from the behavior of their idols like the habits of the idols they see through video, fashion, to learning and using Korean in their daily lives, such changes occur in: (1) the process of attention, (2) the process of remembrance, (3) the process of motor reproduction and (4) motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the selection of accountant careers at accounting students of Batam International University. Independent variables used are financial rewards, labor market considerations, intrinsic value of work and gender roles. The dependent variable used is the accountant career. Data analysis techniques in this study include multiple linear regression. The results of the study can be seen that the variables of financial rewards in accountant career selection with t count 0,161 are smaller than t table 1,665 and a significant value of 0,872 <0,05. Job market consideration variables in accountant career selection with 2,704 t count smaller than t table 1,665 and significant value 0,008 <0,05. the variable intrinsic value of work in the accounting career selection with t count 1,144 is smaller than t table 1,665 and significant value is 0,256 <0,05.

Abstract

Job stress and leadership problems often occur by PT Mitra Dinamis Sejahtera. It cannot be denied that work stress and leadership is one that can improve employee performance. With improved employee performance. Authors Help Know work stress, leadership, performance of employees of PT Mitra Dinamis Sejahtera. Sampling used in this study is saturated sampling, with methods of collecting data through questionnaires. The number of samples was 135 respondents who made PT Mitra Dinamis Sejahtera employees as respondents. Furthermore, the data collected in this study were analyzed by analysis that was presented in a multiple linear manner with SPSS version 20. The results of this study relate to the results of the research t, which is related to the independent variable namely work stress that is significantly generated to improve company performance, significant relationships towards improving employee performance. The F test results amounted to 246.501> from the f table of 2.672. with a significance value of 0.00 which is smaller than the value of α 0.05, it indicates that work stress variables and leadership variables together influence employee performance.
